Starting from the data obtained recently,that the crystal yttrium aluminum borat e(NAB)is an ideal material for LD pumped microchip laser is demonstrated.Coopera ting with Material Physics Department of Autonoma Unive...Starting from the data obtained recently,that the crystal yttrium aluminum borat e(NAB)is an ideal material for LD pumped microchip laser is demonstrated.Coopera ting with Material Physics Department of Autonoma University of Madrid,Ti:sappir e laser was used to simulate laser diode to pump a NAB crystal sample of 0.3mm t hickness.For incident pump power of 375mW,laser output power at 1.064μm reach 1 57mW with optical to optical efficiency as high as 42%.The corresponding effici e ncy at 1.341μm is 25%.Output laser beams belong to TEM 00 mode.The thresho ld of laser oscillation at 1.064μm were 13,18,30,100 and 140mW for output mirr ors with transmittance of 0.36%,1%,2%,4% and 6% respectively.NAB crystal has a wide and flat absorption band with half high width of 45nm for pump light and so th e temperature shift of the laser diode wavelength will not affect the pumping effi ciency.All the advantages mentioned show the this crystal is obviously an ideal material for LD pumped microchip laser. Therefrom,the possible application of a series of self ativated laser crystal developed in the seventies years 20th century will be discussed in the case of L D lasers have been well developed.展开更多

Qigong(气功)therapy is an active self-paced exercise therapy and it has a long history in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).As early as the mention of it in the Huang Di Nei Jing(《黄帝内经》Huangdi s Internal Classic...Qigong(气功)therapy is an active self-paced exercise therapy and it has a long history in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).As early as the mention of it in the Huang Di Nei Jing(《黄帝内经》Huangdi s Internal Classic),there is a record of using qigong therapy to prevent and treat pestilence.This thesis discusses the idea and methods of qigong therapy in TCM,such as daoyin(导引),expiration and inspiration,and meditation.These methods purpose to have the functions of strengthening and consolidating the primordial qi,improving health conditions,and resisting pestilent qi.Therefore,the core idea of fighting the epidemic with qigong therapy is to enhance the healthy qi,and to prevent the intrusion of pestilent qi into the human body.It embodies the TCM thought of“when there is sufficient healthy qi inside the body,the evil cannot invade the body.”展开更多
Polypropylene(PP) meltblown fibers were coated with titanium dioxide(Ti O2) nanoparticles using layer-by-layer(Lb L) deposition technique. The fibers were first modified with 3layers of poly(4-styrenesulfonic a...Polypropylene(PP) meltblown fibers were coated with titanium dioxide(Ti O2) nanoparticles using layer-by-layer(Lb L) deposition technique. The fibers were first modified with 3layers of poly(4-styrenesulfonic acid)(PSS) and poly(diallyl-dimethylammonium chloride)(PDADMAC) to improve the anchoring of the Ti O2 nanoparticle clusters. PDADMAC, which is positively charged, was then used as counter polyelectrolyte in tandem with anionic Ti O2 nanoparticles to construct Ti O2/PDADMAC bilayer in the Lb L fashion. The number of deposited Ti O2/PDADMAC layers was varied from 1 to 7 bilayer, and could be used to adjust Ti O2 loading. The Lb L technique showed higher Ti O2 loading efficiency than the impregnation approach. The modified fibers were tested for their photocatalytic activity against a model dye, Methylene Blue(MB). Results showed that the Ti O2 modified fibers exhibited excellent photocatalytic activity efficiency similar to that of Ti O2 powder dispersed in solution. The deposition of Ti O23 bilayer on the PP substrate was sufficient to produce nanocomposite fibers that could bleach the MB solution in less than 4 hr.Ti O2-Lb L constructions also preserved Ti O2 adhesion on substrate surface after 1 cycle of photocatalytic test. Successive photocatalytic test showed decline in MB reduction rate with loss of Ti O2 particles from the substrate outer surface. However, even in the third cycle, the Ti O2 modified fibers are still moderately effective as it could remove more than 95% of MB after 8 hr of treatment.展开更多
