Planning and Design of Sightseeing Agricultural Park Characterized by Mountainous Landscape

After illustration of research and development process of sightseeing agricultural park,the paper had classified sightseeing agricultural park into sightseeing agricultural park,education agricultural park and agricultural garden in terms of development content;into renovation type and newly-built type in accordance with development mode;and into plain type and mountainous type in the light of terrain.From the perspectives of terrain,vegetation,hydrology and ecology,characteristics of landscape resources in mountainous sightseeing agricultural park were analyzed.It proposed principles for planning and design of mountainous sightseeing agricultural park,which were respecting and protecting nature,linking landscape units and coordinating spatial structure,systematicness and protecting inheritance of traditional culture.On this basis,it had illustrated landscape designing theories on architecture and landscape furniture,traffic road,plant greening and water supply and sewerage works.

Tourism Resources Assessment Based on AHP for the Development of Sightseeing Agriculture in Jiujiang City

Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was adopted to evaluate tourism resources for the development of sightseeing agriculture in Jiujiang City,and corresponding suggestions were put forward for its future development.

Landscape Design of Sightseeing and Picking Garden Transformed from Vegetable Producing Garden

In view of landscape design problems in the transition from vegetable producing garden to sightseeing and picking garden,definitions of both gardens were introduced and discriminated.It was proposed that landscapes in the vegetable sightseeing and picking garden included installations,open-field vegetable producing landscapes and overall environment landscapes.Landscape design concepts and principles of vegetable sightseeing and picking garden were analyzed,and it was stressed that its landscape design should take quality production of vegetables and fruits as the principal line,environment landscapes of the garden as the support,and experiencing production process as the feature,by following the principles of "integrity of garden design,characteristic vegetable varieties,proper crop rotation,ecological production process".Landscape contents of this garden were analyzed from 3 perspectives:landscape design within installations,major road,and overall appearance of the garden.Cangshang Vegetable Sightseeing and Picking Garden in Beiwu Township,Shunyi District,Beijing City was taken for an example to analyze its landscape construction inside and outside greenhouses as well as the optimization of the overall environment landscapes on the basis of introducing its landscape design concepts.

"One Brand for One Village"Planning of Qingzhong Loquat Sightseeing Park in Jinting Township of Suzhou City,China

The planning and design of Qingzhong Loquat Sightseeing Park in Jinting Township, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City was taken for an example, industrial development, advantages and disadvantages of the study area were analyzed. Design concepts and techniques of"One Brand for One Village"for Qingzhong Loquat Sightseeing Park were introduced from the perspectives of project orientation, planning concepts, functional division, scenic spot design, infrastructure planning and so on. Six ancient relics and three grotesque trees were introduced to expound the planning scheme of typical landscapes. Finally, the architectural control planning from the perspectives of height and style was stressed. The planning scheme broke common restraints of other similar parks, such as poor infrastructure and disordered garden constructions, proposed the planning concept of"building a modern eco-agricultural sightseeing fruit park mainly for production but also integrating functions of tourism, ecological picking, recreation and entertainment", providing a basis for building "One Brand for One Village" and realizing the high-efficiency scale-development of agriculture.

Discussion on the Current Situation and Development Model of Sightseeing Agriculture in Zhenjiang

Zhenjiang has distinct advantages to develop sightseeing agriculture as it possesses outstanding agricultural features, superior geographical locations and abundant cultural resources. At present, the situation of sightseeing agriculture in Zhenjiang is complicated. Though the development is going fast, it is quite blindfold for there is no reasonable overall plan; the production is at low level and requires more cultural connotation; the investment source is thin while the cooperation management hasn't been accomplished; a rudiment mode of varied sightseeing agriculture is forming rapidly. Based on this situation, five development modes are put forward for Zhenjiang's sightseeing agriculture, including: "enterprises as the main body of management" mode, "village committees as the main body of management" mode, "villagers as the main body of management" mode, government operating mode and joint development mode.

Study on Ecological Footprint of Sightseeing Tourists and Vacation Tourists in Sanya City

Based on the theory of ecological footprint and tourists' consumption structure, the model of tourist ecological footprint was divided into six sub-models including catering, accommodation, shopping, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment, and ecological footprint of sightseeing tourists and vacation tourists in Sanya City was analyzed. The result showed that per capita ecological footprint of vacation tourists was higher than that of sightseeing tourists in Sanya City. The influential factor of the two kinds of tourists was slightly different in their proportion of sightseeing and entertainment factors. In the future, it should advocate sightseeing tourists to rationally make use of ecological resources, vacation tourists to have a healthy and ecological holiday, so as to ensure sustainable development of tourism.

Study on Planning and Design of Sightseeing Nursery—A Case Study of Nanchong Huangcheng Garden Ecological Sightseeing Park

By taking Huangcheng Garden Ecological Sightseeing Park for example,the study was conducted from the aspects of its general situation,planning target and guiding ideology,planning layout and landscape planning,project planning,and road traffic engineering planning;proposed seven principles for planning and design of sightseeing nursery,so as to provide reference for planning and design of garden nursery of the similar type.

This study aimed to summarize the planning theory system of sightseeing agriculture for the first time through the research on the site selection, layout, partition planning, planning of property items, landscape planning, greening planning, economic and technical indicators of the sightseeing agricultural park (area).

A Sightseeing Planning Support System with Gamification

In recent years, as there has been a major change in the necessity and importance of sightseeing information, a platform to provide real-time sightseeing information according to the ever-changing circumstances is necessary. Additionally, it is effective to adopt gamification to increase users’ motivation to continuously utilize the system in order to provide them with more information. In the present study, in order to support users’ enjoyment in creating efficient and pleasant sightseeing plans, the system that incorporates gamification to increase motivation was developed combining with web-geographic information systems (Web-GIS) and sightseeing planning and sharing system. The system was operated over a period of 2 weeks in Chofu City, Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. Based on the results of a questionnaire survey for 51 users, though the operability of the 3 main functions incorporated with motivation by gamification was rated lower than those of the 2 basic functions, their usefulness was highly rated. Based on the results of the access log analysis, it was effective to design the system so that the same functions can be used regardless of the type of information terminal. Additionally, it was evident that the continuous utilization of the system could increase the number of sightseeing plans created by the users.

Study on the Functional Division of Agricultural Sightseeing in Handan City

Agricultural sightseeing in a new tourism pattern integrates ecological tourism functions into ecological agriculture and rural cultures. Handan City is located in southern Henan Province with excellent geographical conditions. In 2006-2008, agricultural sightseeing has achieved primary development in Handan City, and gradually become an indispensable component of the tourism market in this city. Promoting agricultural sightseeing in Handan City as well as the upgrading of its agriculture will be enhanced, which can be transformed from traditional and unitary function into the comprehensive functions of production, ecology, tourism, culture and education, thus is favorable for promoting the further development of tourism industry, enriching tourism products, realizing the sustainable development of agricultural tourism. Besides, surplus rural labors will be offered more opportunities, and industrial structure in rural areas will also be adjusted properly. Through dividing agricultural sightseeing in Handan City into the eco-agricultural sightseeing zone in the west, metropolis agricultural sightseeing zone in the middle, and economic agricultural sightseeing in the east, the authors clearly defined their ranges, orientation of typical functions, dominant development modes as well as projects, so as to figure out the reasonable development pattern for agricultural sightseeing in Handan City, specify its development context, and provide theoretical basis for the future development of agricultural sightseeing in this city.

Strength and Weakness of Eco-agricultural Sightseeing Development in Baise City and Corresponding Strategies

The development of eco-agricultural sightseeing in Baise City shows a sound foundation and outstanding advantages as well as a rapid growth trend in recent years, however, there are also problems to be settled, such as shortage of talents, insufficient planning, low level of development, limited products and lack of competitive products. In view of such a condition, development concepts should be reformed first, competitive and special products made, marketing and propaganda enhanced to promote the healthy, coordinated and ordered development of eco-agricultural sightseeing in Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Nationality Autonomous Region.

Food Tourism Planning Support System within Urban Sightseeing Areas in Japan

The present study aimed to design, develop, operate and evaluate a tourism planning support system that can be used to decide on places to eat lunch and dinner, sightseeing spots to visit along the way, and routes for visiting these destinations. This system was developed by integrating a web geographic information system (Web-GIS) and a sightseeing plan creation system (an eatery search system and a sightseeing route creation system). Additionally, the system was operated for one month in Central Yokohama City of Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan, and the total number of users was 79. Based on the results of the web questionnaire survey, user evaluations were particularly high for the function of sightseeing spot selection and the function of display of sightseeing plan information, and also for the entire system. From the results of the access analysis of users’ log data, the total number of sessions in the system was 263, 67% used mobile devices, and smartphones were used most frequently. Therefore, it is evident that the system was used by different types of devices just as it was designed for, and that the system was used according to the purpose of the present study, which is to support the food tourism planning of users.

The connotation, characteristics and types of sightseeing farm were analyzed in this study, problems in the present plant furnishing within sightseeing farms were elaborated, and corresponding countermeasures were put forward.

A Support System of Sightseeing Tour Planning Using Public Transportation in Japanese Rural Areas

Though most of tourists tend to visit multiple sightseeing spots during their sightseeing tours,it is difficult for them to efficiently acquire information necessary for their sightseeing tour planning.Additionally,in rural area,many people hope to use public transportation which has not developed as much as in urban areas.The present study aims to design and develop a support system of sightseeing tour planning in Japanese rural areas,adopting the information related to real timetables of public transportation on both the sea and the ground,and genetic algorism(GA).The system was developed integrating moving route recommendation system,web-geographic information systems(Web-GIS),and augmented reality(AR)application.Furthermore,Kagawa Prefecture in the western part was selected as the operation target area.The operation of the system was conducted for two months,targeting those inside and outside the operation target area,and web questionnaire surveys were conducted.From the evaluation results based on the web questionnaire surveys,the usefulness of all the original functions as well as of the entire system was analyzed.Additionally,though some users could not easily use the system,it is expected that they will get used to utilizing it by their continuous use.

Research on Landscape Planning and Design of Famous Historic and Cultural Sites as Outdoor Sightseeing and Relaxation Spaces——A Case Study of Taiqing Scenic Area in Mount Laoshan,Qingdao City

Design attributes of famous historic and cultural sites were analyzed,and problems in the present planning and design of these relics were proposed on the basis of fully studying characteristics of outdoor sightseeing and relaxation spaces in famous historic and cultural sites such as disordered route,lack of cultural context and overuse of design formalism.Taiqing Scenic Area in the Mount Laoshan was taken for example to explore design techniques of famous historic and cultural sites.It was stressed that history should be respected,cultural context continued;development properly designed,favorable ecological conditions created;tour routes reasonably designed,tourists' feelings valued;aesthetic principles should be followed,and beauty of scenery depends on moods of viewers.This study was to make the future design of famous historic and cultural sites practical.

A Sightseeing Spot Recommendation System for Urban Smart Tourism Based on Users’ Priority Conditions

The present study aimed to design,develop,operate and evaluate a sightseeing spot recommendation system as a smart tourism tool that gathers and accumulates sightseeing spot information and considers personal preferences as well as priority conditions to support tourism activities,especially in urban tourist areas.The system was developed by integrating web-geographic information systems(Web-GIS),the recommendation system and the evaluation system.Additionally,the system was operated for 4 weeks in the central part of Yokohama City in Kanagawa Prefecture,Japan,and the total number of users was 62.Based on the results of the web questionnaire survey,the system was highly useful for sightseeing activities,and further utilization of each function can be expected by continuing the operation.From the results of access analysis of users’log data,it is evident that the system has been used by different types of information terminals just as it was designed for,and that the system has been used according to the purpose of the present study,which is to support the sightseeing activities of users.However,the number of visits to pages related to the evaluation function of sightseeing spots and submitting function of new sightseeing spot information was low.This may improve if the system operation is conducted on a long-term basis.

Development of Sightseeing Agricultural Landscapes Based on Bashu Culture and Red Culture Elements

The development of culture is closely related to politics and economy.There is some unique creativity in national culture.To a large extent,cultural appeal and cohesion can improve the sightseeing agricultural landscape in Bashu area.Meanwhile,the unique “red culture” of Chinese culture is a very popular representative part of Bashu sightseeing agriculture landscapes.Nowadays,when Chinese culture is vigorously promoted,Bashu culture is affected by the Going Global Strategy.Red tourism and red culture are beneficial to the rapid development of the sightseeing agricultural landscape in Bashu,which promotes the continuous construction and development of the economic and cultural development in Bashu area.Based on this,we analyzed Bashu culture and the red culture respectively,and expounded their influence on the sightseeing agricultural landscape in Bashu area and its future development.

Taking the grape theme sightseeing garden of Hebei Academy of Forestry Sciences for example,this article discusses the suitable edible and wine making cultivation varieties,vineyard frame and cultivation techniques in the grape theme sightseeing garden,from the perspective of planning and design. Biodiversity-based Plant Cultivation Design in Sightseeing Farm: A Case Study of Cultivation Design in Luzihe Village

Taking plant cultivation in sightseeing farm for example, this paper proposed design strategies on the basis of biodiversity, i.e. improving food chain circulation using cultivation, creating diversifi ed habitats using species connection, enhancing the benign interaction between human activities and planting environment,and integrating the diversity of biological corridor. This paper took cultivation design in Luzihe Village for example, put forward specifi c design schemes based on diversity design, i.e. creating biological corridor in edge effect, establishing the benign circulation between food chain and man, creating diverse habitats under three-dimensional planting. These schemes gave instructions to ecological planting, and also contributed to the realization of ecological effect, economic effect, educational function and landscape beauty.
