Feixi County has made significant progress in promoting waste classification,such as establishing a comprehensive classification system,and effectively reducing environmental pollution and waste volume.However,with the increase in waste generation,the county faces multiple challenges especially in the disposal of kitchen waste and improvement of residents environmental awareness.To address these issues,Feixi County has implemented various measures,such as strengthening the construction of infrastructure for waste classification,improving regulations and clearly defining responsibilities,enhancing residents environmental awareness to encourage their participation in waste classification through education and promotion,and increasing supervision to ensure effective implementation of the work.It emphasizes community governance,encourage all parties to participate in it,and strengthen publicity,education and training to enhance residents participation.Feixi County has achieved positive results,but efforts are needed to further improve facilities,raise awareness,enhance supervision,and ensure the continuous effectiveness of waste classification work to promote urban green sustainable development.

Hanjiang is the main river in Chaozhou. The urban sections on both sides of it are large-scale landscape zones which combine the natural landscape and the cultural landscape. Through the survey of plant landscapes on eight representative squares in Tianjin City,the paper had pointed out that plant landscapes on Tianjin squares were improper in terms of plants richness,cultivation layer and color change.It had suggested selecting regional characteristic tree species,applying salt-tolerant plants,emphasizing the diversity of plants species,highlighting the application of towering arbors,stressing the use of color-leaved plants,and creating abundant plant communities,so as to provide citizens with a more practical and ornamental square landscape environment through improving plant landscapes on squares in Tianjin City.

Study on Agglomeration and Fluctuation Situation and Development Countermeasures of Economic Crop Production in Hunan Province

[Objective] This paper aimed to investigate the agglomeration and fluctuation situation of economic crop production in Hunan Province and to propose related development countermeasures. [Method] With agglomeration index and fluctuation index as main indicators, the agglomeration and fluctuation situation of the production of seven major economic crops in Hunan Province in recent decade was studied. [Result] The agglomeration index of sown area and yield of seven major economic crops in Hunan Province showed decreasing orders of ramie 〉 cotton 〉 tobacco 〉 rape〉 citrus 〉 tea 〉 vegetables, ramie 〉 cotton 〉 tobacco 〉 tea 〉 rape 〉 citrus 〉 vegetables, respectively; the fluctuation index of sown area and yield showed decreasing orders of ramie 〉 citrus 〉 vegetables 〉 cotton 〉 tea 〉 rape 〉 tobacco, citrus 〉 ramie 〉 tea 〉 cotton 〉 rape 〉 tobacco 〉 vegetables, respectively. In addition, stable regions, relatively stabte regions and fluctuation regions of sown area and yield in various main producing areas were identified, and corresponding development countermeasures were proposed. [Cenclusion] The key to accelerate the development of major economic crop production in Hunan Province is further improving the agglomeration level of vegetable, citrus, rape and tea production and focusing on maintaining the stability of citrus, ramie and cotton production in main producing areas.

Study on the Current Situation and Protection Countermeasures of Wild Plant Resources in Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve

[Objective] The aim was to study the current situation and protection countermeasures of wild plant resources in Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve. [Method] The current situation of wild plant resources in Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve was researched by means of route survey, sample plot survey and literature survey, and then the main impact factors of wild plant resources were analyzed by using participatory rural appraisal and problem tree analysis, finally protection countermeasures were put forward according to current situation and main impact factors. [Result] There were 2 779 species of vascular plants belonging to 214 families and 1 012 genera (including subfamilies and varieties) in Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve, among them, there existed 261 species of pteridophyte belonging to 41 families and 91 genera, 14 species of gymnosperm belonging to 6 families and 6 genera, and 2 504 species of angiosperm belonging to 167 families and 915 genera. Wild plant resources in reserve were mainly affected by planting under forest, habitat fragmentation, cutting trees, collection and utilization of no-timber products, development of animal husbandry, insufficient recognition of community residents to reserve management establishment and lots of floating population. In the future, wild plant resources in reserve could be protected through strengthening propaganda, education and management, enforcing the law strictly and other countermeasures. [Conclusion] The study could provide theoretical foundation for the protection of wild plant resources in Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve.

Current Situation of Cultivated Land Quality in Tongnan District of Chongqing City and Suggestions on Countermeasures

In 2015, the area of first and second class land in Tongnan Distdct of Chongqing was 221.646 km2, accounting for 30% of the total cultivated area, and the area of the third, fourth and fifth class land was 517.861 km2, accounting for 70% of the total cultivated area. The quality of cultivated land was at a low level. Comparison with the Second Soil Census in 2015 showed that the soil pH value has been improved; the organic matter content in the tillage layer showed a slight upward trend; the contents of available nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium in the topsoil increased. Countermeasures were proposed as follows： vig- orously promote the construction of high-standard farmland; adjust the industrial structure of agriculture and implement farming reform; combine organic and inorgan- ic fertilization to reduce the amount of fertilizers; popularize soil testing and formu- lated fertilization to change farmers＇ traditional fertilization habits; improve pollution control to ensure the sustainable productivity of farmland; strictly promote the quality management of cultivated land and strengthen the construction of quality monitoring system; increase investment and improve the monitoring mechanism; vigorously publicize and enhance the awareness of all citizens in protecting cultivated land; im- prove the law of cultivated land protection and enhance the seriousness of the law on the protection of cultivated land.
