In this study, we clarified the hierarchy and social relationships in a one-male unit of captive Rhinopithecus bieti observed between August 1998 and March 1999. Mean frequency of agonistic behaviour among adult females was 0.13 interactions per hour. Adult females exhibited a linear hierarchy with a reversal of 10.9%, indicating an unstable relationship; therefore, R. bieti appears to be a relaxed/tolerant species. The lack of a relationship between the agonistic ratio of the adult male towards adult females and their ranks indicated that males did not show increased aggression towards low-ranking females. Differentiated female affiliative relationships were loosely formed in terms of the male, and to some extent influenced by female estrus, implying that relationships between the male and females is influenced by estrus and not rank alone. A positive correlation between the agonistic ratio of adult females and their ranks showed that the degree to which one female negatively impacted others decreased with reduction in rank. Similarly, a positive correlation between the agonistic ratio of females and differences in rank suggests that a female had fewer negative effects on closely ranked individuals than distantly ranked ones. These data indicate that rank may influence relationships between females. A steeper slope of regression between the agonistic ratio and inter-female rank differences indicated that the extent of the power difference in high-ranking females exerting negative effects on low-ranking ones was larger during the mating season than the birth season, suggesting that rank may influence the mating success of females.展开更多

Based on the analyses of natural condition, population growth, land use type and ecological environment, the comprehensive evaluation index systems of socio-economic development level and eco-environment quality in Jinghe County are constructed. Using principal component analysis,a comprehensive evaluation of socio-economic development level and ecological environment quality in Jinghe County is conducted by combining with Excel. Their coupling relationship is studied, and quantitative coordination degree between social economy and ecological environment in Jinghe County is obtained. The results show that in recent 50 years,socio-economic development level in Jinghe County is rising, but the ecological environment quality is falling. Their coupling degree C changes during [- 1. 260, + 0. 482],in other words, their coupling relationship is changing between " reluctant coordination" and " not coordination". After entering into the 21 stcentury, their coupling relationship is basically " reluctant coordination". On this basis, the existing problems in the process of sustainable development in Jinghe County are analyzed, and the suggestions about promoting coordinated development between social economy and ecological environment are put forward.展开更多

Methods: We performed a cross-sectional study of 356 ICU nurses by applying random cluster sampling. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires under the instruction of trained investigators. Data on emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation and feelings of low personal accomplishment etc. were collected, calculated and analyzed. Results: The participants had a mean age of 26.96 years (SD 4.07). The mean value (M) and stand- ard deviation (SD) of emotional exhaustion was M=31.85, SD=8.38, those of depersonalisation was M= 11.69, SD= 5.54 and those of feelings of low personal accomplishment was M= 19. 79, SD = 7.02. The high degree of emotional exhaustion (EE), depersonalisation (DP), and lack of personal accomplishment (PA) were revealed to be 76.4%, 39.6%, and 94.9%, respectively. The major influencing factors of emotional exhaustion included support from co-workers(b=0. 343, t = 1.98, P=0. 049), taking leave(b=-1. 182, t=-3. 747, P=0. 001), requisition of work(b=-l. 41, t=-2. 369, P=0. 018), and supervisor support(b=-0. 524, t=-3. 926, P=0. 001). The major influencing factors of depersonalisation were support from the supervisor(b=-0. 333, t=-4. 146, P=0.001), age(b=-0. 89, t=-2. 272, P= 0. 024) and requisition of work(b=-0. 148, t=-2. 124, P=0. 034). There was a positive co-relationship between personal accomplishment and supervisor support. Conclusions: Supervisor support, age, and requisition of work were the major influencing factors of depersonalisation. In addition, supervisor support plays an important role in low personal accomplishment. Further research should focus on supervisor support, co-worker support, time on leave, and requisition of work associated with emotional exhaustion.展开更多

In this paper we de- scribe the patterns of spatial associations and social interactions among adult male northern muriquis in order to evaluate the dy- namics of their social networks above the dyadic levels. Systematic observations were made on the 17 adult males present in a multi-male/multi-female group from April 2004 through February 2005, and in July 2005. Analyses of their spatial relationships identified two distinct male cliques; some adult males (called "N" males) were more connected to the females and immatures than other adult males ("MU" males), which were more connected to one another. Affiliative interactions were significantly higher among dyads belonging to the same clique than to different cliques. Although frequencies of dyadic agonistic interactions were similarly low among individuals within and between cliques, MU males appeared to be subordinate to N males. Nonetheless, there were no significant differences in the copulation rates estimated for MU males and N males. Mutual benefits of cooperation between MU and N cliques in intergroup encounters might explain their ongoing associations in the same mixed-sex group展开更多

Most existing studies take a greedy scheme in data forwarding process, i.e., only nodes with higher utility values than current carriers can be selected as relays. They lack an in-depth investigation on the main features of the optimal paths in Epidemic. These features are vital to any forwarding scheme that tends to make a trade-off between packet delivery delay and cost. This is mainly because Epidemic provides an upper bound on cost and a lower bound on delivery delay. Therefore, a deep understanding of these features is useful to make informed forwarding decisions. In this paper, we try to explore these features by observing the roles of different social relationships in the optimal paths through a set of real datasets. These datasets provide evidence that strangers have two sides in data forwarding process, and that the importance of strangers shows a decreasing trend along the forwarding paths. Using this heuristic knowledge, we propose STRON, a distributed and lightweight forwarding scheme. The distributed feature makes it very suitable for opportunistic scenarios and the low communication and computation features make it easy to be integrated with state-of-the-art work. The trace-driven simulations obviously confirm its effectiveness, especially in terms of packet delivery delay and cost.展开更多

文摘“Thumb up advertising”is a new and effective way to spread shared advertising in social media. How the retailer adapts“thumb up advertising”in marketing with a game theory model is analyzed. The results show that when the retailer chooses to thumb up the advertising in Moments,a higher reward will increase the equilibrium price but hurt the retailer s expected profit;if the consumers can more easily reach the thumb up amount, the retailer will charge a higher price, and possibly gain more profit. When the retailer chooses thumb up at the end of the advertising context,a higher reward will increase the equilibrium price and the retailers expected profit will increase/decrease.If the consumers are easier to reach the thumb up amount, the retailer will charge a higher price, and may get more profit. If a consumer s click cost of clicking the sharing advertising is higher, the retailer charges a lower price;and if the consumer s additional perceived value from the advertising is higher, the retailer charges a higher price and reaps more profit.

文摘Based on the theory of sustainable development, using the theory and method of coupling relationship, the main city of Aiby Lake basin——Jinghe County in Xinjiang is selected. On this basis, the existing problems in the process of sustainable development in Jinghe County are analyzed, and the suggestions about promoting coordinated development between social economy and ecological environment are put forward.
文摘Objective: The associations between social support and burnout were explored in ICU nurses of Shanghai. Further research should focus on supervisor support, co-worker support, time on leave, and requisition of work associated with emotional exhaustion.
文摘With the continuous development of economic and social, the category of science is no longer limited to the technical field, natural science, humanities and social science have flourished, but the study of the relationship between the two disciplines is not perfect enough, so we should follow the academic trend, clarify the relationship between the two, only in this way can we have a more specific grasp of the science, this had a profound influence on the all-round development of modern society.

Conclusion: According to the findings of this research based on the impact of acceptance and commitment intervention on promotion and improving in quality of life, this treatment can be used for improving the variants in women suffering from over-weight and obesity.
文摘Older adults’social participation and social relationship may be affected by their partners’cognitive function. In 3,722 cognitively intact married/partnered Health and Retirement Study respondents, latent profile analysis identified three social participation profiles(Limited overall social participation(prevalence:69%);Frequent volunteer participation(10%);Frequent non-volunteer participation(21%)),and three social relationship profiles(Social support from all relationships(68%);Mixed social support and strain from all relationships(18%);Social strain from partner with support from other relationships(14%)).Spouse/partner’s cognition was not significantly associated with social participation profiles.Impaired cognition in spouses/partners increased older adults’likelihood of perceiving social strain from their partners with support from other relationships.Frequent volunteer and non-volunteer participation and perceiving social support from all relationships predicted better self-rated health and lower odds of depressive symptoms. These findings highlight the need of community programs that promote social connectedness for older adults living with cognitively impaired spouses/partners.
文摘Analyses of spatial relationships and social interactions provide insights into the social structure of animal societies and the ways in which social preferences among and between dyads affect higher order social relationships. Mutual benefits of cooperation between MU and N cliques in intergroup encounters might explain their ongoing associations in the same mixed-sex group

文摘Intra-organizational social media platforms are expected to help build a flexible corporate stage that facilitates employees'communication and leverages creative idea generation. However, whether and how these systems can expedite the creativity of employees remains unclear. This paper attempts to address the impacts of employees'social relationships on intra-organizational social media on their idea generation quantity and quality.Drawn upon the extant literature in the fields of information systems and organizational behavior,a theoretical model is postulated on the basis of analyzing the attributes of social ties and exchanged information content in light of a two-dimensional framework that juxtaposes boundary spanning and work relevance. The model is empirically tested using data obtained from two internal application systems of a large telecommunications company.Test results validate that employees'online social relationships with different attributes are discriminably associated with their group identification and proactive creativity.Meanwhile, proactive creativity and group identification both show the positive impacts on idea generation quantity, whereas only proactive creativity has a significant positive impact on idea generation quality. These findings contribute to the literature on intra-organizational social media and employee idea generation,by uncovering the links among employees'online social relationships, mental processes, and idea generation.

文摘A multilayer network approach combines different network layers, which are connected by interlayer edges,to create a single mathematical object. These networks can contain a variety of information types and represent different aspects of a system. However, the process for selecting which information to include is not always straightforward.Using data on 2 agonistic behaviors in a captive population of monk parakeets(Myiopsitta monachus),we developed a framework for investigating how pooling or splitting behaviors at the scale of dyadic relationships(between 2 individuals)affects individual-and group-level social properties. We designed 2 reference models to test whether randomizing the number of interactions across behavior types results in similar structural patterns as the observed data.Although the behaviors were correlated, the first reference model suggests that the 2 behaviors convey different information about some social properties and should therefore not be pooled. However, once we controlled for data sparsity,we found that the observed measures corresponded with those from the second reference model.Hence, our initial result may have been due to the unequal frequencies of each behavior.Overall, our findings support pooling the 2 behaviors.Awareness of how selected measurements can be affected by data properties is warranted, but nonetheless our framework disentangles these efforts and as a result can be used for myriad types of behaviors and questions. This framework will help researchers make informed and data-driven decisions about which behaviors to pool or separate, prior to using the data in subsequent multilayer network analyses.

文摘Routing is one of the challenging tasks in Delay Tolerant Networks (DTNs), due to the lack of global knowledge and sporadic contacts between nodes. The trace-driven simulations obviously confirm its effectiveness, especially in terms of packet delivery delay and cost.

文摘As an important witness to the rural industry in the agricultural era, traditional handicraft villages have attracted renewed attention in the contemporary context of intangible cultural heritage protection. The dual characteristics of their traditional cultural heritage and modern economic benefits make these villages an important carrier of the dynamic inheritance and development of the heritages under the background of rural revitalization. This paper takes a stonemason village of Xizhuang in Xinjiang County,Shanxi Province,as an example, and reveals the evolutionary characteristics of traditional handicraft villages in the process of transition from agricultural to industrial society from the“social-spatial”perspective.In the agricultural era,the kinship, production organization, and religious beliefs of traditional handicraft villages were closely linked under the blood relationship in a clan-based structure, forming a“social-spatial”trinity composed of“residence, production, and spirit.”In the industrial era,the development of handicraft economy results in the transformation of the“social-spatial”form of the settlement, the social structure shrank from clan control to nuclear family domination, the production space began to be stripped away from villages, the living space changed from gathered clan living to separated-family homes, and the spiritual place was transformed into public space. However, due to the inter-generational transmission of handicrafts based on blood relationship, the consanguinity community has always been the main carrier for the continuity of skills, and has become the stable foundation for maintaining the“social-spatial”form of the village. Therefore, the adaptive transition of traditional handicraft villages in the context of socio-economic transformation continues the interconnection among society, economy, and space, and presents a unique vitality and comparative stability.
