The iterative sequence {xn} converges strongly to a fixed point of T in the case when X is a uniformly convex Banach space with a uniformly Gateaux differentiable norm or a uniformly smooth Banach space only. Currently,polarization visualization strategies are accomplished by mapping polarization information into a perceptually uniform color appearance model CAM02-UCS.However,the deviation of the CAM02-UCS space from the lightness prediction results in an inaccurate match between the polarization information and the perceptual information.In this paper,we propose a novel polarization visualization strategy based on the perceptual uniform space Jzazbz.The polarization visualization be completed by placing the polarization information into the lightness Jz,colorfulness Cz and hue angle hz channels of the Jzazbz space.The experimental results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the lightness of the low irradiance and high polarization region,hence more polarization information can be sensed by human visual system. 展开更多

This paper investigates the formation control of a class of multi-agent systems moving on a circle, whose topology is a cyclic graph, and presents several new results for the following two cases: Case I, the agents with single-integrator kinematics,and Case II, the agents with double-integrator kinematics. Firstly,for Case I, two control protocols are proposed under which the multiagent systems keep a uniformly-spaced formation. Secondly,we study Case II, and a control protocol is designed for this case, then the stability of the formation is proved. Finally, three simulations are studied by using our presented results. The study of illustrative examples with simulations shows that our results as well as designed control protocols work very well in studying the formation control of this class of multi-agent systems. 展开更多

In this paper, we establish the global existence and uniqueness of the solution of the Cauchy problem of a one-dimensional compressible isentropic Euler system for a Chaplygin gas with large initial data in the space Lloc1. The hypotheses on the initial data may be the least requirement to ensure the existence of a weak solution in the Lebesgue measurable sense. The novelty and also the essence of the difficulty of the problem lie in the fact that we have neither the requirement on the local boundedness of the density nor that which is bounded away from vacuum. We develop the previous results on this degenerate system.The method used is Lagrangian representation, the essence of which is characteristic analysis.The key point is to prove the existence of the Lagrangian representation and the absolute continuity of the potentials constructed with respect to the space and the time variables.We achieve this by finding a property of the fundamental theorem of calculus for Lebesgue integration, which is a sufficient and necessary condition for judging whether a monotone continuous function is absolutely continuous. The assumptions on the initial data in this paper are believed to also be necessary for ruling out the formation of Dirac singularity of density. The ideas and techniques developed here may be useful for other nonlinear problems involving similar difficulties. 展开更多

Both seeding performance of seed metering unit and travel speed of seed planter have significant effects on seeding quality,thereby affecting crop growth and yields.In order to determine the effects of different travel speeds on seed spacing uniformity,four different types of seed meters were evaluated at five different travel speeds on seed meter test bench and in field.The tested seed meters included a finger pickup seed meter,a scoop-wheel seed meter,an air-pressure type seed meter and an air-blowing type seed meter.The seeding performance of the horizontal distribution of seeds within a row was described by using the coefficient of variation,the quality of feed index,the multiple index and the miss-seeding index.Experiments were performed in laboratory and field,respectively.Results indicated that different travel speeds have statistically significant effects on seed spacing uniformity.The four types of seed meters performed better on the seed meter test bench than in the field.Coefficient of variation increases and quality of feed index decreases as the travel speed of seed planter increases.The best seed spacing uniformity was obtained with the air-pressure type seed meter,followed with the air-blowing type seed meter,the finger pickup seed meter and the scoop-wheel seed meter.There were considerable differences between the performances of the scoop-wheel seed meter in the bench test and field test;the seeding qualities were much better in the bench test than in the field test.The scoop-wheel seed meter is more sensitive to vibration than the other types of seed meters. 展开更多
