With the gradual improvement of Chinese women’s status in the 21st century,gender studies and gender relations have become one of the hottest topics in Chinese society,which consequently prompted Chinese Women’s Cin...With the gradual improvement of Chinese women’s status in the 21st century,gender studies and gender relations have become one of the hottest topics in Chinese society,which consequently prompted Chinese Women’s Cinema to attract the attention of larger audiences.With regard to the box office performance of Chinese Women’s Cinema,there seems to be a gap in research in finding an association between women’s status and the relevant films’box office performance.The purpose of this research is to outline the underlying reasons for the changes in gender roles and gender representation in the Chinese film industry over the past few decades in order to better understand this expansive social change in the 21st century.This study provides a comprehensive analysis through the use of questionnaires to better understand society’s attitude towards gender representation within the film industry.The questionnaire findings indicate that there is a direct correlation between people’s awareness of women’s changing status and gender equality and their acceptance of materials produced by Chinese Women’s Cinema.At the some time,it highlights that the Chinese government’s support and initiatives for gender equality have had a significant impact on the general popularity of Chinese Women’s Cinema.The significance of this research is to effectively popularize Chinese Women’s Cinema culture and the box office growth by understanding the social attitude towards gender representation in the Chinese film industry and to provide relevant information about the development direction and trend of Chinese Women’s Cinema.Furthermore,this research aims to provide foundational support for gender equality and help to understand the underlying factors that society needs to promote gender equality.展开更多
Sikkim Himalaya hosts critical water resources such as glacial,rain,and snow-fed springs and lakes.Climate change is adversely affecting these resources in various ways,and elevation-dependent warming is prominent amo...Sikkim Himalaya hosts critical water resources such as glacial,rain,and snow-fed springs and lakes.Climate change is adversely affecting these resources in various ways,and elevation-dependent warming is prominent among them.This study is a discussion of the elevation-dependent warming(EDW),snowfall shift,and precipitation variability over Sikkim Himalaya using a high-resolution ERA5-land dataset.Furthermore,the findings show that the Sikkim Himalaya region is experiencing a warming trend from south to north.The majority of the Sikkim Himalayan region shows a declining trend in snowfall.A positive advancement in snowfall trend(at a rate of 1 mm per decade)has been noticed above 4500 meters.The S/P ratio indicates a shift in snowfall patterns,moving from lower elevations to much higher regions.This suggests that snowfall has also transitioned from Lachung and Lachen(3600 m)to higher elevated areas.Moreover,the seasonal shifting of snowfall in the recent decade is seen from January-March(JFM)to February-April(FMA).Subsequently,the preceding 21 years are being marked by a significant spatiotemporal change in temperature,precipitation,and snowfall.The potent negative correlation coefficient between temperature and snowfall(–0.9),temperature and S/P ratio(–0.5)suggested the changing nature of snowfall from solid to liquid,which further resulted in increased lower elevation precipitation.The entire Sikkim region is transitioning from a cold-dry to a warm-wet weather pattern.In the climate change scenario,a drop in the S/P ratio with altitude will continue to explain the rise in temperature over mountainous regions.展开更多

In this work, photochemical properties of a new class of GFP-like chromophores are investigated using computational approaches. Thermo- dynamically stable isomers are identified in vacuum and in solvent. Spectral Stokes shifts are computed and compared to experiments. An inverted solvatochromic shift between absorption and emission emerging in this new class of GFP-like chromophores is observed, and attributed to the stabilized charge transfer and inhibited rotational structural reorganization in solvent.展开更多
Hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)plays a significant role in regulating a variety of biological processes.Dysregulation of H2O2 can lead to various diseases.Although numerous fluorescent imaging probes for H2O2 have been report...Hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)plays a significant role in regulating a variety of biological processes.Dysregulation of H2O2 can lead to various diseases.Although numerous fluorescent imaging probes for H2O2 have been reported,the development of H2O2 ratiometric fluorescent probe with large Stokes shift remains rather limited.Such probes have shown distinct advantages,such as minimized interference from environment and improved signal-to noise ratio.In this work,we reported a new pyrene-based compound Py-VPB as H2O2 fluorescent probe in vitro.The probe demonstrated ratiometric detection behavior,large Stokes shift and large emission shift.In addition,the probe showed high sensitivity and selectivity towards H2O2 in vitro.Based on these excellent properties,we successfully applied Py-VPB to the visualization of exogenous and endogenous H2O2 in living cells.Cell imaging study also showed that our probe was localized in the mitochondria.We envision that the probe can provide a useful tool for unmasking the biological roles of mitochondrial H2O2 in living systems.展开更多

The Stokes shift and linewidth are strongly dependent on the nonequilibrium thermomechanical-statistical state of the system. 文摘近年来,数值波浪水槽在海洋工程研究中发挥着越来越为重要的作用,成为了水波动力学研究的焦点之一。为此,基于Navier-Stokes(N-S)方程组,首先完成了二维数值波浪水槽的构建。对于N-S方程,采用FVM(Finite Volume Method)法进行离散求解;在入口边界处,模拟活塞推板运动产生了入射波;同时,利用VOF(Volume of Fluid)法对波浪自由面进行了捕捉;在数值波浪水槽尾部,通过设置人工阻尼区实现了消波。利用该二维数值波浪水槽,对典型非线性二阶Stokes波进行了仿真模拟,通过设置虚拟波高监测仪,获取了非线性二阶Stokes波发生、发展和消亡的全过程。对比校验表明,所有仿真结果均与理论精确解相吻合。
