How to Make Use of the English Class to Carry On the Civilization Education to the Students

College students are the new generation and the main force of our society in the future. College students' personality will be directly related to the overall quality of the Chinese nation. Education is the main way to improve the students' personality. When they are at college, the teachers can teach them some foreign customs according to the teaching materials in class. In this way, the teaching contents can be enriched and at the same time, the students' personality can be improved. So we can realize our dream of our nation rich in money and also in spirit.

On Students' Self-Evaluation and Class Performance——An Empirical Study in College English Class

This paper aims to demonstrate whether students'self-evaluations influence their class performance.A questionnaire is designed and data is collected from 30 sophomore students in English class.The data analysis shows that students who have positive self-evaluation perform better and get higher class performance scores than students who have negative self-evaluation.

小学低学段语文优质课堂师生互动特征研究--基于CLASS 课堂评价打分系统的分析

采用美国弗吉尼亚大学研究团队开发的课堂评价打分系统(CLASS),围绕情感支持、课堂组织、教学支持三个领域及下设的十个维度,对20节小学低学段语文优质课堂的师生互动状况进行深度观察,探索优质课堂环境下师生互动的整体水平及各维度之间的相互关系,并综合量化数据和质性分析得出研究结论。研究发现,小学低学段语文优质课堂在情感支持方面,能较好地激发教师的职业热情,并培养学生自主自立的精神与能力;在课堂组织方面,能以课堂实效为目标,创设高品质的教学活动;在教学支持方面,能营造安全的思维环境,促进师生深度互动。

Micronuclei in Nasal Mucosa, Oral Mucosa and Lymphocytes in Students Exposed to Formaldehyde Vapor in Anatomy Class

The frequency of micronuclei (MN) in cells of the nasal mucosa, oral mucosa and in lym-phocytes was evaluated for 25 students in anatomy classes exposed to formaldehyde (FA) overan 8-week period. Each student served as his or her own control. The time-weighted averageconcentration (TWA) of fOrmaldehyde in anatomical laboratories and in students' dormitorieswas 0. 508 ± 0. 299 mg/m3 and 0. 012 ± 0. 0025mg/m3, respectively. A higher frequency ofmicronuclei was observed in nasal and oral exfoliative cells after formaldehyde exposure (3. 85± 1. 48 vs 1 .20± 0. 676 and 0. 857 ± 0. 558 vs 0. 568 ± 0. 317, paired-t test: P< 0. 001and P < 0. 01, respectively). No significant increase in the frequency of lymphocyte micronu-clei was found after formaldehyde exposure (P >0. 05 ). The present study shows that nasalmucosa cel1s exposed through respiration are the chief target of FA-induced genotoxic effects

Application of Student-centered Learning Approach to English Listening and Speaking Class in Vocational Schools

Student-centered learning approach is focused on the students' demands and interests.Applying student-centered approach puts forward higher requirement to English teachers.This article first analyzes the theory of student-centered learning approach and compares teacher-centered approach with it.Based on the research information and teaching experience,the author summarizes four strategies about how to apply student-centered learning approach to English listening and speaking class in vocational schools.

Research on Promote the Attendance of Senior Students in English Class

In traditional English class of China, the relationship between teacher and students is one-way communication. As a result, positive attendance in senior English class is not common. It is important to develop students' automatic learning and cooperation learning abilities. If teachers place more responsibility in the hands of students, serve as "presenter or facilitator of knowledge" instead of "source of all knowledge", they can greatly motivate students to learn the language in a very active, cooperative and effective way. After all, people learn by doing, not only by watching and listening.

Effects of Smartphone on College Students in English Speaking Class

Smartphones have become increasingly popular during the past recent years. Although these gadgets are useful and convenient, a majority of students(whether they are higher learning students or low level students) are becoming more and more dependent on them. The aim of this study is to find out the reason why college students are addicted to cell phone and the impact of mobile phone abuse on their academic performance as well as propose feasible solutions for teachers to motivate learners to take an active participation in English speaking class by adopting advanced mobile phone technologies to improve learning efficiency.

An Investigation on Cross-cultural Communication between ForeignTeachers and Chinese Students in College EFL Classes

Nowadays,more and more foreign teachers have come to or been invited to China,joining in the English education cause,especially in colleges and universities.Using the methods of questionnaires and interviews,this paper conducts a survey of three foreign teachers and one hundred Chinese English majors at Qufu Normal University,aiming to explore their different perceptions and attitudes towards varied aspects of cross-cultural communication in native EFL classes.The quantitative and qualitative data obtained from the survey were both processed and analyzed from such categories as "teaching contents","teaching attitude","teaching methods","classroom interaction" and "cultural background".The findings suggested that intercultural communication plays a significant role in the process of English language teaching and learning at college native EFL classes.

课堂教学改革对减轻学生在线“课堂沉默”的研究——以高职护理专业为例

近年来,全国各高校开启了在线教学实践,但是在线“课堂沉默”现象日益突出,成为阻碍师生教与学的痛点问题。通过对高职院校护理专业各门核心专业课进行教学改革,从教学资源、学生管理、教学过程、教学评价等方面进行改革设计。结果表明,经过教学改革,高职学生课堂学习参与度大大提高,课堂沉默现象明显缓解。结论显示,课堂教学改革确实能改善课堂教学质量,减轻“在线课堂沉默”,但仍需学校、教师、学生三方一起努力,才能减轻高职学生“课堂沉默”的现象,更好地保证在线教学效果。

“以学生为中心”的一流课程建设探索与实践

针对传统教学模式中以“教材为中心”“教师为中心”“教室为中心”的弊端,在一流课程建设中注重以“学生发展”“学生学习”“学习效果”为中心,围绕“课程资源建设—教学模式革新—学习评价创新”,对混合式教学模式与学生学习成效评估进行了创新探索,并通过评估服务促进资源的共建共享。在“信号与系统”一流课程建设与实践中初步体现出其效果。

“双一流”与非“双一流”高校生源研究生考研背景与学业满意度的比较研究——以西部某高校为例

该文以问卷调查数据信息为基础,采用独立样本T检验和描述性统计分析方法,对来源于“双一流”与非“双一流”研究生专业认同度、考研动机及学业满意度的差异进行比较研究,从受教育者的角度探讨将“双一流”高校生源作为优质生源的合理性。研究发现,“双一流”高校生源研究生对前一阶段专业学习的认同度以及现在专业知识体系的系统性高于非“双一流”高校生源研究生。对学术和科研感兴趣、提高就业层级以及提高学历层次都是两类学校生源研究生考研的主要动机。“双一流”高校与非“双一流”高校生源硕士生学业满意度无差异。非“双一流”高校生源博士生学业满意度显著高于“双一流”高校生源的博士生。

体育课与阳光长跑相结合的课内外一体化教学模式研究——以武汉工程大学邮电与信息工程学院为例

该研究旨在探讨体育课和阳光长跑相结合的课内外一体化教学模式对大学生体质健康的影响,并对该模式的实施优势及注意事项进行分析,为大学体育课程教学改革提供理论和实践参考。研究采用实验干预法和体质测试法,以武汉工程大学邮电与信息工程学院为例,建立专项体育课与课外阳光长跑相结合的课内外一体化教学模式。结果显示,该教学模式对大学生体质健康能够产生积极影响,但在实施过程中,需要考虑资源分配、教师培训、学生激励、安全管理和评价体系等方面的问题,并通过实践、反馈和不断改进,发挥其模式优势,促进学生身心健康的发展。

体育课健康体适能循环练习对初中生身体健康的影响

以初一年级五个班189名学生为研究对象,采用5×2×2的三因素实验设计,确定体育课中融入健康体适能循环练习的实验方案,共实施8周干预。结果显示:健康体适能循环练习能有效提高课堂运动负荷,增加学生能量消耗,保障体育课运动负荷维持在较为稳定的负荷区间,与对照班存在显著性差异;健康体适能循环练习有助于改善学生身体成分,对提高学生心肺耐力,肌肉力量、肌肉耐力(大强度班)、柔韧度(静立性和PNF拉伸法班)具有积极作用。在性别方面,男生立定跳远改善幅度大于女生,女生柔韧度改善幅度大于男生。

场域理论视角下小学生课堂沉默的纾困策略

随着对课堂教学研究的深入,课堂沉默现象开始受到广泛关注,并且已经成为教学研究的重要对象。课堂沉默是小学生课堂教学中呈现出的学习状态,在一定程度上反映了师生关系,属于一种社会性行为。文章基于布迪厄场域理论探讨小学生课堂沉默的表现,并分析场域和惯习对小学生课堂沉默的影响,在课堂场域中重构师生关系,为小学生从沉默走向表达提供破解之策。

以学生为中心的课程建设困境与路径

高质量教育体系建设要以一流课程建设为核心。当前,我国大学课程建设与高质量诉求之间还有一定差距,没有很好地满足学生的需求和期望。课程建设应把学生发展作为出发点和落脚点,突破低质与低效的建设困境。“以学生为中心”的课程建设需将“学生发展中心”“学生需求中心”“学生学习中心”“学习效果中心”充分融入课程目标设计、课程内容选择、课程教学实施和课程教学评价等环节,优化课程体系,最终实现课程质量的整体提升。

新工科背景下“以学生为主体”的电路实验教学改革

在“以学生为主体”的教学理念下,内蒙古工业大学针对电路实验课程进行了改革。通过校园网络教学平台自建的实验资源库,结合雨课堂智慧教学工具,实现了对学生课前、课中、课后的闭环式实验监管。实验教学模式设计更注重探索式学习,通过提问的方式引导学生逐步开展实践操作。实验考核加入过程考核及激励评价机制,可以更全面准确地量化学生的学习效果。

医学研究生小班制问题研究

为了提高高等教育水平、提升学生学习能力与综合素质,小班制教学自我国高等教育改革启动以来得到了广泛的应用。对于医学研究生的教育而言,小班制教学模式更有利于培养专业型、实用型的精英人才,能够打破原有医学教育滞后的怪圈,将临床实践渗透到日常教学中,实现研究生学术能力、临床水平双达标。笔者立足于小班制教学模式,在医学研究生教学工作中进行多年实践,取得了一定的经验,教学效果显著。
