Superficial Inquiry on the Mechanism of Psychological Health Education of College Students under the Background of Anti Epidemic

Psychological health education has been highly valued by the party and the state.During the fight against the COVID-19,colleges and universities have made a beneficial exploration in carrying out psychological health education.In older to further understand the impact of the epidemic on the psychological health of college students,a survey was carried out based on questionnaire survey,depth interview and expert consultation.The survey found that the epidemic increased the psychological pressure and posed new challenges to the psychological health education in colleges and universities.Based on the analysis of the causes from the four aspects of society,family,college and individual,this thesis put forwards some suggestions on how to effectively carry out the psychological health education of college students in the context of fighting against the epidemic.

A Review and Reflection on the Cultivation of Normal Students’ Vocational Skills in Local Normal Universities under the Background of Teacher Training Professional Certification

Professional certification for students of educational majors provides a crucial guideline for the cultivation of teachers.The cornerstone of development for local normal universities is to uphold the characteristics of teacher education and highlight the history and tradition of teacher education,because the level of teacher vocational skills of students in normal universities has a direct impact on faculty strength of basic education.Consequently,based on an analysis of necessity and feasibility of teacher vocational skill training for students in normal universities amid the professional certification for students of educational majors in a new era,four approaches are proposed in this article as follows:(1)upholding the characteristics of cultivation of students of educational majors while optimizing curriculum planning;(2)innovating training methods for better guiding capacity;(3)coordinating training management for guaranteed education quality;(4)improving performance evaluation mechanism for a training path towards an assessment system.

Reform of the Course System of Network Security Theory and Technology for Foreign Students in China

Theory and technology of network security is the core course of information security major,however,it still faces many challenges in the education of foreign graduate students studying in China.This paper analyzes the status quo and existing problems in the course of theory and technology of network security for foreign graduate students studying in China,the most fundamental of which is that the existing teaching materials are difficult to meet the needs of foreign graduate students.In view of the problem,this paper discusses how to improve the existing teaching materials to adapt to the teaching needs for foreign students and puts forward some new ideas and reform measures.

Conversation with presence:A narrative inquiry into the learning experience of Chinese students studying nursing at Australian universities

Aim：the aim of this methodological article is to reflect on and extend current understandings of the possibilities of narrative inquiry research giving voice to students, and to expand the power of story by sharing the philosophical, theoretical, and methodological considerations of narrative inquiry in an international education context.Background： there has been much discussion about the need in providing a ‘voice＇ to people across the society, who feel marginalised in many contexts, including international students. There is limited research about Chinese students studying in Australia. In particular, the learning experience of Chinese nursing students has not been fully explored nor understood.Discussion： to enhance teaching and learning in international education contexts, and to cater better to international students, it is important to understand their experiences and perspectives. There is no better way to achieve this level of understanding than to let students＇ voices be heard, to let them speak for and about themselves because reality exists within these students＇ perceptions.Conclusions： in the context of international education, narrative inquiry as a research methodology,when used with sensitivity and reflexivity, through the power of stories, offers a new dimension in the international education research.

Higher Education for International Students in China:A Review of Policy From 1978 to 2020

Purpose:By reviewing policies on higher education for international students,this article aims to investigate the change of social-historical context,policy issue,and policy solution and provide implications for policymaking.Design/Approach/Methods:The study used qualitative text analysis.One hundred and twelve policy papers were collected from the PKULAW database and the Ministry of Education official website.Deductive categories were constructed under themes like social-historical context,policy issue,and policy solution separately.Findings:Four stages have emerged from the text analysis.The policy focus witnessed a shift from openness to expansion and then to quality.The policies made by the central government changed a lot accordingly.China is increasingly active in higher education internationalization and eager to make the education for international students an attractive brand with high quality.To realize this target,policies should be made based on different types of international students.Additionally,it is necessary that policies provide detailed guidance and accelerate capacity building in all majors.Originality/Value:This study contributes to existing knowledge of higher education for international students in China by providing qualitative policy text analysis,and the insights gained from this study may be of assistance to policymaking in the future.

An inspection on the Gini coefficient of the budget educational public expenditure per student for China's basic education

Using statistical data on the implementing conditions of China's educational expenditure published by the state,this paper studies the Gini coefficient of the budget educational public expenditure per student in order to examine the concentration degree of the educational expenditure for China's basic education and analyze its balanced development condition.As the research shows,China's basic education is undergoing an unbalanced development due to diversified factors,which is mainly reflected as follows:firstly,the budget educational public expenditure presents a four-tiered appearance of the strong,the less strong,the less weak and the weak,which lead to a great discrepancy between the two opposing extremes;secondly,the compulsory education in rural areas is still confronted with great difficulties;thirdly,the general senior secondary education is loaded with the crisis of unbalance.Therefore,it is necessary to construct a balanced development policy framework of the basic education and pay close attention to the benefit and effectiveness of the educational input.In addition,it is also important to clearly stipulate the criterion of the government's educational allocation and to support the disadvantaged areas in order to promote the balanced development of the basic education.

A brief overview of the School of Aerospace Engineering of Tsinghua University

This article provides a brief overview of the teaching and research at the School of Aerospace Engineering(SAE) to celebrate the 80 th anniversary of the establishment of aeronautics as a discipline at Tsinghua University. The evolution of the school, undergraduate/graduate students and faculty members, and research activities and achievements have been described. The research input including research funding and research projects are summarized, showing a diversity of funding sources and a significant growth in either sum total or spending per researcher. The achievements including publications and inter/national academic awards are also introduced. It can be seen that the level of academic publications has been growing over the past decades. In addition,four representative research achievements have been briefly described to show the scientific contributions of the school.
