Exploring the Path of Party Building Leading League Construction in Colleges and Universities under the Pattern of Great Ideological and Political Education

In accordance with the pattern of"great ideology and politics",the Party and youth League organizations assume the role of vanguard in the organization of colleges and universities.Simultaneously,they serve as a pivotal force in ideological and political education.In order to construct a comprehensive ideological and political framework encompassing the entire educational process,it is of paramount importance to identify an efficacious methodology for Party building leading League construction.This paper employs a comprehensive analysis to elucidate the pivotal role of Party building leading League construction in facilitating ideological and political education.It also illuminates the practical challenges encountered in the implementation of Party building leading League construction initiatives within colleges and universities.The article proposes a specific path for Party building leading League construction in colleges and universities based on three key aspects:cohesion of the consensus of Party building leading League building,establishment of the institutional system of Party building leading League construction,and creation of the model brand of Party building leading League construction.The aim is to promote in-depth development of Party building in colleges and universities and enhance the quality and effect of ideological and political education.

Evaluation of preventive,supportive and awareness building measures among international students in China in response to COVID-19:a structural equation modeling approach

Background:Education institutions promptly implemented a set of steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among international Chinese students,such as restrictive physical exercise,mask wear,daily health reporting,etc.Success of such behavioral change campaigns largely depends on awareness building,satisfaction and trust on the authorities.The purpose of this current study is to assess the preventive,supportive and awareness-building steps taken during the COVID-19 pandemic for international students in China,that will be useful for planning such a behavioral change campaign in the potential pandemic situation in other parts of the world.Methods:We conducted an online-based e-questionnaire survey among 467 international students in China through WeChat.The data collection duration was from February 20,2020 to March 10,2020 and we focused on their level of awareness,satisfaction,and trust in authorities regarding pandemic measures.Simple bivariate statistics was used to describe the background characteristics of the respondents along with adoption of the partial least squares-structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM)as the final model to demonstrate the relationship between the variables.Results:In our study,the leading group of the respondents were within 31 to 35 years’age group(39.82%),male(61.88%),living single(58.24%)and doctoral level students(39.8%).The preventive and supportive measures taken by students and/or provided by the respective institution or authorities were positively related to students’satisfaction and had an acceptable strength(β=0.611,t=9.679,p<0.001).The trust gained in authorities also showed an acceptable strength(β=0.381,t=5.653,p<0.001)with a positive direction.Again,the personnel awareness building related to both students’satisfaction(β=0.295,t=2.719,p<0.001)and trust gain(β=0.131,t=1.986,p<0.05)in authorities had a positive and acceptable intensity.Therefore,our study clearly demonstrates the great impact of preventive and supportive measures in the development of students’satisfaction(R2=0.507 indicating moderate relationship).The satisfied students possessed a strong influence which eventually helped in building sufficient trust on their institutions(R2=0.797 indicating above substantial relationship).Conclusions:The worldwide student group is one of the most affected and vulnerable communities in this situation.So,there is a profound ground of research on how different states or authorities handle such situation.In this study,we have depicted the types and magnitude of care taken by Chinese government and educational institutions towards international students to relieve the panic of pandemic situation.Further research and such initiatives should be taken in to consideration for future emerging conditions.

Student capacity building of dengue prevention and control: A study of an Islamic school, Southern Thailand

Dengue has been a critical problem for an Islamic School, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Southern Thailand. Objectives: 1) to build student capacity;and 2) to evaluate the results of student capacity building. Method: Participatory Action Research: PAR was applied in three phases: 1) the school-based preparation phase;2) the process of building student capacity phase, and 3) evaluation of the results of the student capacity building. Independent T-Test statistical method was used to analyze student capacity both before and after the intervention. Larval Indices were determined through ratio analysis. Results: Prior to the intervention, there was no clear strategy for combating dengue. In this study, three groups were formed to build student capacity: a leader group, a non-leader group, and a support group. The leader group (48 student leaders), critical to the study, was set as a dengue club named “Eliminate Ades Aegypti, the culprit of dengue” which focused on eight sets of activities: “Dengue or Death”, “Seniors educating juniors”, “Reward for good answers”, “Dengue monitoring team”, “Youth to expel mosquetoes”, “Mosquito or busy”, “Garbage elimination of Pondok”, and “Essential doctors”. The level of student capacity for the prevention and control of dengue of a sampling of 308 student representatives of the Pondok (Islamic school) showed an increase after intervention ( (SD);56.78 (17.06);65.33(15.36) and different statistic significant (P < 0.001). The Larval indices ratio levels had decreased from the original levels (BI = 244, HI = 45, and CI = 26) after intervention (BI = 137, HI = 39, and CI = 19). Dengue morbidity and mortality rates were not found during the study. Discussion: Although there had been an increase in student capacity, a decrease in the larval indices ratio, and the absence of a dengue epidemiology index, the high risk of a dengue epidemic might still be found in the school because the ratio of larval indices were higher than the standard index. Then, the committed participation of students, school, and communities around the school vicinity is needed in building student capacity of dengue prevention and control.

From the reform and opening-up policy until now,targeted poverty alleviation in rural areas has always been regarded as a major and arduous task in China,and it strives to achieve the goal of national poverty alleviation by 2020.To firmly win the strong war of overcoming poverty and realize new leap of targeted poverty alleviation in rural areas,Qianshan Village,Ganlu Town,Gongqingcheng City of Jiangxi Province establishes party building projects with rural characteristics by surrounding action of"overcoming poverty and attacking strong poverty"and taking"party building+county sage or worthy"as link.It uses county sage or worthy to drive development of rural industry,and establishes a complete poverty alleviation mechanism,thereby making poor households get rid of poverty,become rich,and embark on the road of well-off society.In this paper,opportunities and challenges in targeted poverty alleviation work of Qianshan Village are analyzed,and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.

Changli Pomology Institute,Hebei Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences is taken as the research object.Starting from the relationship between party building and scientific research,in response to the problems in grassroots party building in agricultural research institutes such as insufficient theoretical learning,single party building activity mode,and lack of incentive mechanism in party affairs work,the"three integrations"approach and"four integrations"model are proposed to strengthen the deep integration of party building and scientific research in provincial-level agricultural research institutes.The"three integrations"approach is the integrated development of party building and scientific and technological innovation,the integrated development of party building and scientific and technological services,and the integrated development of party building and technology talents.The"four integrations"model includes the implementation of party building innovation projects,the implementation of 1+N branch pairing and co-construction,the implementation of the"party building+"work method,and the implementation of"theme intersection"activities.The research aims to promote the deep integration of party building and scientific research in provincial-level agricultural research institutes.

Building Features in Schools That Influence Academic Performance

School decision makers are faced with a great many decisions when considering a school renovation or new school building. All stakeholders want a building that is safe and provides an optimal learning environment. However, it is often difficult to know which building features will have the greatest effect on student learning. Because of a limited understanding of the relationship between individual building features and student learning, researchers at the University of Oklahoma hope to explore how building components influence student and teacher performance. This paper explores the importance of school building features that can be designed and changed during a renovation project. The hope is to one day determine which features have the greatest impact on student test scores. The research team believes that although it is difficult to find the exact relationship between each building features and student outcomes with one study, if multiple users repeat the same or similar studies, hopefully we will one day know the effect of these building features. In order to develop feature building users survey and physical assessment tools, it was necessary for investigators to develop a list of important building features and their associated definitions in layman terms. This was accomplished through utilization and conducting of a CAB （community advisory board） and subject matter expert materials. In addition, previous research relating to different school building features and their associations with student performance were reviewed. To define and narrow the list the researchers, community educational, and building professionals rated based on their professional experience, how directly related each feature is to student performance. The building feature list serves as a starting point to determine which features should be analyzed in a later phase of the project. It is hoped that resulting tools based on the work of this project can be used by school decision-makers and researchers to access building features that have been identified through research as being important for student and teacher performance.

党建引领社区分类治理是基层政治改革的新趋向,蕴藏着合法性与有效性的责任政治。本文以责任政治的“观念—结构—行动”为分析框架,结合重庆市D社区“三事分流”的实践样本,有效回应了基层党组织引领社区分类治理的行动逻辑。具体而言,社区分类治理的行为过程彰显了党组织的核心地位和价值引领。以党建引领为主要手段,重构了社区分类治理的责任观念,理顺了社区多元主体的权责结构,激活了社区多元主体的责任行动;党建引领构建了社区分类治理的责任共同体,有效彰显了共识机制、责任机制和激励机制的统合作用。因此,巩固党建引领社区分类治理的实践成效,要围绕分类治理的责任行动,加强社区党组织的引领能力,以构建责任共同体为指引,激活基层党组织的责任观念,不断调适责任结构的存在样态,在激励机制的基础上,落实党建引领社区分类治理的政治责任。

党建引领公立医院高质量发展的体系结构与方法路径

实施“四项工程”,以高质量党建引领师德建设

师德是教师的立师之本,是教师队伍建设的核心。师德建设离不开基层党组织的正确引领和有效指导,如何推进基层党组织建设与师德师风建设深度融合,既把党建抓实,又把师德建设抓牢,是摆在每一名高校党务工作者面前的共同问题。该研究提出要以四项工程(政治引领工程、制度建设工程、党建品牌工程和榜样示范工程)的实施为抓手,以高质量党建引领师德建设,最终形成基层党组织建设与师德师风建设齐抓共管、同频共振的良好局面。
