The title compounds were structurally confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR spectra and elemental analyses. Preliminary bioassay results showed that some of the title compounds displayed promising fungicidal activity besides insecticidal and acaricidal activity. Particularly, compound 8c exhibited potent fungicidal activity against cucumber Pseudoperonospora cubensis beyond good insecticidal activity against Aphis craccivora and Nilaparvata lugens.展开更多

Here, we report the map...We previously reported a spotted-leaf mutant pelota(originally termed HM_(47)) in rice displaying arrested growth and enhanced resistance to multiple races of Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. Here, we report the mapbased cloning of the causal gene OsPELOTA(originally termed spl^(HM47)). We identified a single base substitution from T to A at position 556 in the coding sequence of OsPELOTA, effectively mutating phenylalanine to isoleucine at position 186 in the translated protein sequence. Both functional complementation and over-expression could rescue the spotted-leaf phenotype. OsPELOTA, a paralogue to eukaryotic release factor 1(eRF_1), shows high sequence similarity to Drosophila Pelota and also localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and plasma membrane.OsPELOTA is constitutively expressed in roots, leaves,sheaths, stems, and panicles. Elevated levels of salicylic acid and decreased level of jasmonate were detected in the pelota mutant. RNA-seq analysis confirmed that genes responding to salicylic acid were upregulated in the mutant. Our results indicate that the rice PELOTA protein is involved in bacterial leaf blight resistance by activating the salicylic acid metabolic pathway.展开更多

The new structures were identified through melting points, ^1H NMR, ^13C NMR, ^19F NMR, elemental analysis (or HRMS) and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The pesticidal bioassays showed that some of compounds exhibited good fungicidal activities against Cercospora arachidicola, Physalospora piricola and Rhizoctonia cereali at 50 mg/L; some of them displayed favourable insecticidal activities against oriental armyworm (Mythimna separata Walker) at 200 rag/L, particularly, Vk and Vm with mortality rate of 75% and 80% respectively, could be considered as new insecticidal lead compounds for further structural optimization.展开更多
Eight new complexes with the formula [PhC_2C(OH)R^2R^2]Co_2(CO)_6 were prepared from phenyl substituted propargylic alcohols and dicobalt octacarbonyl.The reactions of these propargylio alcohol complexes with active m...Eight new complexes with the formula [PhC_2C(OH)R^2R^2]Co_2(CO)_6 were prepared from phenyl substituted propargylic alcohols and dicobalt octacarbonyl.The reactions of these propargylio alcohol complexes with active methylene compounds,2,4-pentanedione or ethyl acetoacetate,in the presnce of an acid,HBF_4(40%)+P_2O_5(in excess)or BF_3·Et_2O,at room temperature in dichlorome- thane were investigated.From the 1-alkyl substituted tertiary propargylic alcohol complexes,three new conjugated ene-yne complexes produced by intramolecular dehydration reaction were isolated in high yields(82—95%).On the other hand,four new alkylated complexes were obtained with satisfactory yields(44—66%)from the secondary propargylic alcohol complexes.The influence of other acids,phosphorus pentoxide and polyphosphoric acid,on both dehydration reaction and alkylated reaction was also studied.展开更多
