It is important to understand the mechanism and implications of different modifiers on analytical and preparative processes under chromatography with supercritical fluids (SFs) and under extraction with SFs. Supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) and supercritical fluid extraction are generally carried out with neat supercritical carbon dioxide (SCCO2) or with SCCO2 containing modifiers (or cosolvents), especially for strongly polar compounds. For example, methanol is added as a cosolvent/modifier to SCCO2 for the extraction/separation of polar compounds. This paper discusses the influence of the modifier on the colligative properties of the principal mobile phase, which may define the situation in the total mobile phase in a chromatography column or in parts of a column under SFC. No colligative behavior of solutions reflects individual properties of the solutes. Their cross-interactions with solvents are discussed. 展开更多

The extracts were qualitatively compared by GC/MS. In the present paper is reported the method for the isolation and extraction of total flavonoids of Epimedium Koreanum Nakai by means of supercritical fluid extraction(SFE). By examining pressure, temperature, amounts of modifier and extraction time, the optimized condition of SFE is confirmed as 30 MPa and 60 ℃, with 70% ethanol as the modifier. The samples were statically extracted for 30 min, followed by dynamic extraction for 120 min at a flow rate of 6 mL/min. The quantitative analysis of total flavonoids was performed by UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Compared with the conventional method, the SFE method is more efficient, more rapid and more friendly environmentally. 展开更多

Supercritical carbon dioxide fluid extraction (SFE) was studied as a rapid method for extraction of volatile and semivolatile compounds of Chinese commercial cigarettes. The method was compared with simultaneous distillation and extraction (SDE). Temperature and pressure for the SFE were optimized. The extracts obtained by the two methods showed different characters in composition and represented differently the flavor characteristics of tobacco; compared to SDE, SFE can extract compounds within a shorter time and avoid the thermal degradation and solvent contamination of samples. The extracts by the two extraction methods are complementary for investigating the flavor characteristic of tobacco products. 展开更多

Heat production from geothermal reservoirs is a typical heat transfer process involving a cold working fluid contacting a hot rock formation.Compared to the thermal-physical characteristics of water,supercritical CO_(2)(scCO_(2))has a higher heat storage capacity over a wide temperature-pressure range and may be favored as a heat transfer fluid.Singularly characteristic of scCO_(2)-based heat extraction is that the hydraulic-thermal properties of the scCO_(2) vary dramatically and dynamically with the spatial pressure gradient during unsteady-state flow along fracture.This highly nonlinear behavior presents a challenge in the accurate estimation of heat extraction efficiency in scCO_(2)-based EGS.In this paper,a thermal-h ydraulic-mechanical(THM)coupled model is developed by considering deformation of the fractured reservoir,non-Darcy flow and the varying thermal-physical properties of scCO_(2).The proposed model is validated by matching the modeling temperature distribution with published data.The results show that during continuous injection of scCO_(2),the fracture first widens and then narrows,ultimately reopening over the long term.The sequential fracture deformation behaviors are in response to the combined impacts of mechanical compression and thermally-induced deformation.By controlling the injection parameters of the scCO_(2),it is found that the heat extraction rate is positively correlated to its pore pressure or mass flow rate.The heat extraction rate can be significantly enhanced,when the inlet temperature of scCO_(2) is below its critical temperature.As a result,the heat increment recovered per unit mass of scCO_(2) decreases as the hot rock is gradually cooled.Meanwhile,the heat increment recovered per unit mass of scCO_(2) decreases by increasing the inlet temperature of scCO_(2) or its mass flow rate,but increases as the outlet pressure rises.Furthermore,multi-linear regression indicates that controlling the inlet temperature of the scCO_(2) can significantly improve the thermodynamic efficiency of heat extraction. 展开更多

超临界二氧化碳与页岩相互作用机制及规律对页岩油气开发非常重要。目前缺少对超临界二氧化碳注入页岩储层后页岩润湿性、孔隙度和渗透率变化规律的研究。为了明确在不同条件下经过超临界二氧化碳浸泡处理后页岩矿物成分和微观结构的变... 超临界二氧化碳与页岩相互作用机制及规律对页岩油气开发非常重要。目前缺少对超临界二氧化碳注入页岩储层后页岩润湿性、孔隙度和渗透率变化规律的研究。为了明确在不同条件下经过超临界二氧化碳浸泡处理后页岩矿物成分和微观结构的变化规律,以四川盆地龙马溪地区页岩为研究对象,对其总有机碳含量、矿物成分、表面形貌及低压N2和CO_(2) 吸附进行了测试。通过对不同浸泡时间、压力和含水条件下页岩处理前、后的物理性质和微观结构进行定量表征,研究了超临界二氧化碳对页岩孔隙度、渗透率以及润湿性的影响。研究结果表明:①随着浸泡时间和浸泡压力的增加,页岩中的黏土矿物和碳酸盐矿物(方解石和白云石)含量降低,石英含量增加,有机质含量降低明显。②扫描电镜图像显示页岩中微观孔隙结构变化受萃取作用、溶蚀作用和吸附膨胀作用共同影响。页岩中微观孔隙结构的变化导致了页岩孔隙度和渗透率的改变。页岩渗透率变化受到黏土矿物、碳酸盐矿物和有机质含量的影响。③超临界二氧化碳浸泡处理后页岩的润湿性发生改变,随着浸泡时间和压力的增加,页岩-水接触角增大,页岩的润湿性由强水湿转变为弱水湿和中等润湿。 展开更多

成藏后期的CO_(2)充注导致里贝拉区块高含CO_(2)次生凝析气藏的流体相行为十分复杂,油环体积预测难度很大。本文通过流体相平衡模拟、组分梯度分布计算及CO_(2)充注可视化实验,刻画了CO_(2)充注过程中的油气相行为,揭示了油环体积的动... 成藏后期的CO_(2)充注导致里贝拉区块高含CO_(2)次生凝析气藏的流体相行为十分复杂,油环体积预测难度很大。本文通过流体相平衡模拟、组分梯度分布计算及CO_(2)充注可视化实验,刻画了CO_(2)充注过程中的油气相行为,揭示了油环体积的动态变化规律,建立了基于气顶气组分拟合的高含CO_(2)次生凝析气藏油环体积预测新方法。研究结果表明:1)CO_(2)充注下的油环体积变化分为4个阶段:充注初期,油环以溶胀为主;充注前期,CO_(2)不断置换并萃取油相中的轻质组分,油环体积迅速降低;充注中期,CO_(2)持续萃取油相的轻、中质组分,油环体积缓慢减小;充注后期,CO_(2)-原油组分传质作用明显减弱,压缩效应导致油环体积进一步减小。2)轻质组分的强流动性使气顶气组成均一,重力分异作用使纵向上油环组分呈梯度变化。3)油环体积与气顶气组成和气油比密切相关。4)基于气顶气拟合新方法和不同井深现场勘探预测的油环体积占比分别为19.21%和22.30%,与CO_(2)充注可视化实验获得的油环体积占比(20.60%)较为吻合。 展开更多
