The permeability coefficient (p) of La3+ were measured and some factors affecting the p were investigated. The results showed that if the pH of the feed was below 4.0,the p was increased with increasing in pH. The p was also increased when the strip acidity increases.Inspite of not enough satisfactory reproducibility on test result, the stability of the model was improved.展开更多

In LEM process the extraction and stripping processes are combined in one stage. The solubility of the solute or the chemical affinity between the solute and carrier reagent in the membrane results in the separation of the solute from the feed mixture. In this work the membrane phase comprised of LIX 664N as the extractant dissolved in kerosene and Span 80 as surfactant. The stripping phase was sulfuric acid with 180 g/l concentration and feed phase had copper concentration of 3.5 g/l. Effect of various process parameters such as batch contact time, speed of agitation, W:O ratio and treat ratio has been experimentally investigated to get better insight of the process. The maximum enrichment of copper in the internal phase obtained was 11.6 times with batch contact time of 10 minutes, agitation speed of 300 rpm and treat ratio of 6:1.展开更多

Effect...Recovery of copper ions from wastewater using a hollow fiber supported emulsion liquid membrane (HFSELM) was studied with LIX984N as carrier, kerosene as diluents, and sulfuric acid solution as stripping phase. Effects of compositions of feed and emulsion liquid phase, flow rates on both sides of membrane, and hollow fiber module parameters were investigated. The stability of the emulsion liquid phase without surfactant and the effect of buffer in the feed phase on the extraction rate were also evaluated. It is found that the stability of the emulsion phase without surfactant is poor. Higher flow velocity gives shorter residence time for the emulsion liquid phase on the tube side, reducing the effect of particle coalescence on the separation process. The extraction rate increases with the increase of feed phase pH, carrier concentration, hydrogen ion concentration in the stripping phase, and ef- fective hollow fiber area. The phase ratio in the emulsion liquid phase has a negative effect on extraction rate. The flow rates on both sides have little influence on the extraction performance of the HFSELM, while buffer addition in the feed solution improves the extraction efficiency.展开更多

The fibers supported solid membranes were prepared with chemical synthesis from cellulose fibers and citric acid with the carboxylic acid ion exchange groups introduced. The experimental variables, such as concentration of metal ions (10^-2 to 10^-4 mol.L^-1) in the source solution, mixed solvent composition [for exampl, e, acetylacetone, (2,4-pentanedione), (HAA) 20% (by volume), 1,4-dioxane 10% to 60% and HC1 0.25 to 2 mol.L^-1] in the receiving phase and stirring speed (50-130 r.min ) of the bulk source and receiving phase, were explored. The efficiency of mixed solvents for the transport of metal ions from the source to receiving phase through the fiber supported solid membrane was evaluated. The combined ion exchange solvent extraction (CIESE) was observed effective for the selective transport of thallium, indium and gallium metal ions through fiber supported solid membrane in mixed solvents. The oxonium salt formation in the receiving phase enhances thallium, indium and gallium metal ion transport through solid membrane phase. The selective transport of thallium metal ions from source phase was observed from indium and gallium metal ions in the presence of hydrochloric acid in organic solvents in receiving phase. Based on this question, our team modified D2EHPA to synthesize new extractants. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the extraction of rare earth ions (RE3+) from phosphate leach solution using emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) in concentrated nitric acid medium. The ELM system is made up of (RO)2P(O)OPh-COOH as carrier, polyisocrotyl succinimide (T154) as surfactant, sulfonated kerosene as diluent, phosphoric acid (H3PO4) as stripping solution. Different chemical parameters such as type and concentration of carrier, surfactant, stripping solution, volume ratio of oil phase to internal phase, and volume ratio of emulsion ratio to external phase were analyzed. The extraction of RE^3+ was evaluated by the yield of extraction. In addition, the demulsification process was also investigated. The proposed method of ELM using (RO)2P(O)OPh-COOH as carrier can he expected to provide an efficient, simplify operation, and facilitated method for extractine RE^3+.展开更多

文摘The Nd(III) extraction in flat renewal supported liquid membrane(FRSLM),with polyvinylidene fluoride membrane and renewal solution including HNO3 solution as the stripping solution and di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid(D2EHPA) dissolved in kerosene as the membrane solution, was investigated. The effects of pH in the feed phase, volume ratio of membrane solution to stripping solution,concentra-tion of HNO3 solution and concentration of carrier in the renewal phase on extraction of Nd(III) were also studied, respectively. As a result, the optimum extraction conditions of Nd(III) were obtained when concentration of HNO3 solution was 4.00 mol/L,concentration of D2EHPA was 0.100 mol/L,and volume ratio of membrane solution to stripping solution was 1.00 in the renewal phase, and pH was 4.60 in the feed phase. When initial concentration of Nd(III) was 2.00×10-4 mol/L,the extraction percentage of Nd(III) was up to 92.9% in 75 min.
文摘The extraction of low concentration cadmium from a system containing high concentration zinc was studied and got CdS product directly. A new liquid membrane system taking DIPSA, TIBPS as carriers, (NH 4) 2S as precipitating agent was reported. Precipitating Cd 2+ in the internal aq. phase that is used to treat sulfuric acid leaching solution of zinc oxide in zinc hydrometallurgy has gotten satisfied results of extracting cadmium from high concentration zinc. After one stage of batch process under the optimum liquid membrane conditions, 98.6% transferring rate and 98.1% extracting rate of cadmium was obtained with only less than 1.0% transferring rate of zinc, and the feed solution can be purified very well.

文摘It is very significant to recover rare earths (REs) from wet-process phosphoric acid, in terms of extraction rate and selectivity, the current carrier di(2-ethlhexly) phosphate (D2EHPA) out there is still inferior. The proposed method of ELM using (RO)2P(O)OPh-COOH as carrier can he expected to provide an efficient, simplify operation, and facilitated method for extractine RE^3+.
