Analysis of the Reform of Ideological and Political Education in College English Curriculum from the Perspective of“Cultural Confidence”

With the rapid development of the education industry,higher requirements have been put forward for college English education and teaching,accelerating the pace of college English reform.Issues such as how to integrate knowledge transmission,language expression skill improvement,cultural element extraction,and ideological and political education,and present the role of curriculum education function have attracted attention.In the era of informatization,college students’thinking has undergone certain changes and gradually developed towards diversification.Therefore,universities should start from the perspective of cultural confidence,extract valuable ideological and political elements,and explore effective tourism ideological and political teaching methods.While helping college students enhance their cultural confidence,it is also beneficial for them to better inherit traditional Chinese culture.This article conducts an in-depth exploration of ideological and political education in college English courses from the perspective of“cultural confidence”and uses scientific and effective measures to solve the problems encountered,aiming to provide valuable guidelines for relevant researchers.

Current Situation of University Bilingual Teaching and Countermeasures Analysis

The development of education in China has become increasingly international.Therefore,carrying out bilingual teach ing in Universities is of great significance to cultivating international talents.However,the current bilingual teaching in Universi ties of our country is not optimistic,facing many difficulties and challenges.In order to provide students with advanced interna tional and dynamic culture,educators should continue to explore research and analyze bilingual teaching rationally and work out effective measures.

Reform and Exploration of Bilingual Teaching in Software College

At present, many domestic colleges and universities have opened bilingual teaching, and achieved gratifying results, but bilingual teaching is still facing a lot of problems. Based on the concept and definition of bilingual teaching, this paper expounds the role and meaning of bilingual teaching, analyses the present situation and existing problems of bilingual teaching, and puts forward the effective way of bilingual teaching in colleges and universities.

Survey and Analysis on the Students Satisfaction with Undergraduate Teaching Management in Local Agricultural Colleges and Universities:A Case Study of Tianjin Agricultural University

Local agricultural colleges and universities undertake the important task of training rural revitalization talents suitable for regional characteristics.Only by mastering students'satisfaction with teaching management can we find the problems existing in teaching management.Taking Tianjin Agricultural University as an example,this paper analyzes the undergraduates'satisfaction with teaching management by questionnaire and SPSS24.0.The results show that undergraduates can actively and actively participate in undergraduate teaching management,but their satisfaction is not high.There are significant differences in teaching evaluation management satisfaction among students of different majors and grades.It is suggested to improve the level of teaching management from the aspects of guiding and cultivating a new concept of management and education,establishing and perfecting a scientific and rigorous teaching management system,strengthening the information-based construction of teaching management and strengthening personnel training.

Survey and Analysis on Present Situation of Biological Experiment Teaching in Some Middle Schools in Yangjiang Area

Experimental teaching is an important part of biology teaching in middle school.In the form of questionnaire,this paper conducts a survey on some leading teachers of biology in the middle schools in the Yangjiang area about the biological experiment teaching in the implementation of the new curriculum,and analyzes the results of the survey.The problems and deficiencies in the implementation of biological experiment teaching in some middle schools in this area are found,and the relevant reform measures and suggestions are put forward in order to promote the better development of biological experiment teaching in middle schools.

Application of Standardized Measures in Clinical Teaching of Medical Imaging Department

Objective:To explore the application of standardized measures in clinical teaching of medical imaging department.Methods:Forty-eight medical interns in Department of Medical Imaging of our hospital from February 2018 to May 2019 were selected as research objects.They were divided into 2 groups according to random number table method,with 24 cases in each group.Routine education management was performed in clinical teaching for control group,standardized measure management was performed in clinical teaching for observational group.Performance assessment before and after intervention was compared between two groups of medical students.Results:Before intervention,there was no significant difference in assessment result between two groups of medical students(P>0.05).Assessment result after intervention was higher than before intervention in two groups of medical students.Observational group was higher than control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Implementation of standardized measures in clinical teaching of medical imaging department could significantly improve assessment result of medical students,and its application can be considered in clinical teaching.

Application of geophysical methods in fine detection of urban concealed karst:A case study of Wuhan City,China

The construction of modern livable cities faces challenges in karst areas,including ground collapse and engineering problems.Wuhan,with a population of 13.74×10^(6) and approximately 1161 km^(2)of soluble rocks in the urban area of 8569.15 km^(2),predominantly consists of concealed karst areas where occasional ground collapse events occur,posing significant threats to underground engineering projects.To address these challenges,a comprehensive geological survey was conducted in Wuhan,focusing on major karstrelated issues.Geophysical methods offer advantages over drilling in detecting concealed karst areas due to their efficiency,non-destructiveness,and flexibility.This paper reviewed the karst geological characteristics in Wuhan and the geophysical exploration methods for karst,selected eight effective geophysical methods for field experimentation,evaluated their suitability,and proposed method combinations for different karst scenarios.The results show that different geophysical methods have varying applicability for karst detection in Wuhan,and combining multiple methods enhances detection effectiveness.The specific recommendations for method combinations provided in this study serve as a valuable reference for karst detection in Wuhan.

Exploration on the Teaching Method for Surveying and Mapping Practice in Ancient Architecture

Since the introduction of the architecture course,the practice of surveying and mapping of ancient architecture has always been an important compulsory course in the professional course of architecture in colleges and universities in China. Against the background of the new era,the teaching methods used so far can no longer fully meet the needs of the development of the times and the construction of " Double FirstClass" initiative. This paper explores deeply from the aspects of organizational planning,technical support and achievement transformation,in order to enrich the teaching methods for ancient architecture surveying and mapping practice course in architecture major,and finally improve the teaching level and improve the teaching effect.

On the Advantages and Disadvantages of Online English Teaching and Improvement Measures

With the rapid development and wide application of the network,many universities conform to the development of thetimes and actively carry out online English teaching.Online teaching is an important choice for higher education in modern times.It takes the Internet as the transmission system and uses the characteristics and resources of the network to create a meaningfullearning environment different from traditional teaching,which is beneficial to students’learning.After decades of development,ithas become a good teaching mode in addition to the traditional classroom teaching model.However,because its development inChina is still in its infancy,there are inevitably some shortcomings.This article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of on-line English teaching and puts forward some improvement measures.

Development of PC-based Electronic Teaching and Learning Materials for De- scriptive Geometry

Descriptive geometry is very important and recognized as a basic skill and knowledge for mechanical engineering student. In this study, PC-based electronic teaching/learning materials for descriptive geometry are created using Flash, which is a typical animation creator. Furthermore, several axonometric representations, created by 3D-CAD, SolidWorks, for 3D objects are auxiliary materials to promote understanding of descriptive geometry. The axonometric representations in 3D-CAD are also dynamic, in other words, a viewpoint can be moved free. The movement of 3D model in a PC monitor can be recorded using a normal function of SolidWorks and replayed by typical animation software. The developed materials are excellent at accuracy of drawing, repeatability of self-study and visual attraction in comparison to oral presentation using still image and inaccurate drawing on a textbook or blackboard in a classroom. Actually, questionnaire survey results present favorable impressions from student-users, although they point out the further improvement in the replaying speed. The replaying speed can be controlled easily by using a normal function of Flash. In addition, usual playback software for animation has functions of pause and replay on demand and, thus, it is not contro-versial.

A Survey on the Current Situation of English Language Teaching in Xinjiang Vocational Colleges——take Turpan Vocational and Technical College as a Case Study

To better carry out English Language teaching,freshmen of Turfan Vocational and Technical Colleges of 2019 Vocational College of Nursing are taken as the research objective.By understanding the current situation of students'learning,we can provide a practical basis for targeted English Language teaching and provide directions for future teaching of the language.

Review about Communicative and Task:Based Language Teaching in East Asian Classrooms

William Littlewood in Communicative and Task-based Language Teaching in East Asian Classrooms(2007) points out the problems in implementing CLT and TBLT in the East Asian classrooms,Then he gives his ideas "how teachers adapt rather than adopt". Later he puts forward some conceptual uncertainties. Finally he comes to the conclusion. The article is well written,and delicately structured. Littlewood has carried out profound research and survey in East Asian countries,however,he didn't give us some measures to solve the problems. Also his conclusion is only a framework and no supporting details,quite general and vague. What I can do is to add some measures to solve the problems in CLT and TBLT in classrooms esp. in China.

This paper mainly focuses on the problems of interpretation teaching and its improving measures.First of all,the thesis analyzes the history of interpretation teaching in China.Secondly,it explores the problems of interpretation teaching.Furthermore,it concentrates on the improving measures to instruct the teaching practice.

A Discussion about the Gap between Teaching and Learning

The gap between teaching and learning can be caused by a lot of factors such as psychological,cultural,and linguistic ones. In different teaching contexts,the influence of these factors may vary differently. Thus,it is necessary for language teachers to take a serious attitude towards the gap between teaching and learning and make appropriate measures accordingly so that they can promote successful teaching/learning outcomes in the language classroom.

Test measurements for accuracy of absolute and relative GPS positioning

The paper, after the introduction, briefly outlines the principles of both absolute and relative GPS positioning. It deals with factors and error resources affecting the accuracy of these surveying procedures. It reviews the geodetic determination of a reference point and a base line used for the test measurements. The study describes the completed test measurements, and on the basis of results, it draws the conclusions for the accuracy of the investigated surveying methods. Finally, considering these accuracy measures, their possible application in mine surveying is also mentioned very shortly.

Determination methods and their application in best surveying distance with distance gage

Based on the theory derivation and analysis of practice surveying data, the best surveying distance method and the best surveying distance according to the chosen distance gages are determined. According to the different projects and their demand to the accuracy, the method of distance gage choice is proposed.

Relationship between the Career Selection Process and Happiness among Japanese School Teachers, Office Workers, and Nurses

Background: Happiness varies across the life course in a U shape, with the least happiness in mid-life during the working years. Therefore, choosing a career may be an important factor in life’s happiness. However, the relationship between the career selection process and happiness remains unclear. Methods: We surveyed 805 schoolteachers, office workers, and nurses from an available marketing database using an ad hoc questionnaire assessing happiness and career selection type. Results and Discussion: We found that happiness was significantly greater among schoolteachers and nurses than for office workers in Japan. Furthermore, among schoolteachers and office workers, an evasive/avoidance type of career-selection process had an unfavorable effect on happiness. However, among nurses, no such association was observed. Conclusion: Paying attention to the career-selection process may be helpful to improve happiness.

The Relationship between Interchangeability Standards and Precision Design in Teaching a Course on Interchangeability and Measurement Techniques

This article discusses some views on the relationship between carrying out and applying standards and precision design and the teaching of a course on interchangeability and measurement techniques. It points out that while emphasizing precision design, we should not underrate the significance of interchangeability and standardization. Although there are presently many teaching models available for such courses, each course should be designed separately to preserve its systematic character and integrality. As well, the development of students' abilities in precision design and the application of standards should be strengthened in experimental lessons within each course.
