为获得沥青混合料的断裂特性,改进了传统overlay tester试验的加载方式、试验模具和控制系统等,提出了在沥青混合料性能试验机(AMPT)上进行沥青混合料断裂试验的方法.为验证该新型断裂试验方法的有效性,拟定了1,2,3和4 mm/min 4个断裂... 为获得沥青混合料的断裂特性,改进了传统overlay tester试验的加载方式、试验模具和控制系统等,提出了在沥青混合料性能试验机(AMPT)上进行沥青混合料断裂试验的方法.为验证该新型断裂试验方法的有效性,拟定了1,2,3和4 mm/min 4个断裂加载速率进行验证.试验结果表明:在低速率加载条件下,沥青混合料呈现蠕变特征;在高速率加载条件下,沥青混合料断裂扩展特性不显著;在中间速率3mm/min加载条件下,试验能够有效区分断裂的裂缝萌生、裂缝扩展和完全断裂的3个断裂过程.此外,提出了断裂能、拉伸强度和拉伸模量等8个断裂参数评价沥青混合料的断裂特性.改进后的overlay tester试验,为研究沥青混合料断裂特性提供了一个新的方法. 展开更多

Biplot Analysis of Genotype by Environment for Cooking Quality in Hybrid Rice: A Tool for Line × Tester Data 被引量:1

A study of combining ability for improving rice cooking quality was carried out via genotype plus genotype x environment (GGE) biplot. Four restorer lines and three male sterile lines were used to obtain F1 in a line x tester trial at the Rice Research Institute, Amol, Iran in 2009. GGE biplot analysis showed that Neda and IR56 were the best general combiners for amylose content (AC), whereas Nemat and IR28 had the highest general combining ability (GCA) effects for gelatinization temperature (GT), and IR58 and IR59 showed the highest GCA effects in terms of gel consistency (GC). Meanwhile IR58 and IR59 showed large specific combining ability (SCA) effects for AC, while Neda and SA13 had high SCA effects for GT. Nemat and IR28 had large SCA effects for GC. Because intermediate levels ofAC, GT and GC are ideal, Nemat × IR59 was considered as the best possible cross. Based on these results, the GGE biplot showed good potential for identifying suitable parents, heterotic crosses and the best hybrids in line x tester data. 展开更多

A jet type erosion-corrosion tester was developed for the erosion-corrosion investigation of high-chromium cast irons. During tests the size and the shape of particles in the slurry can be maintained stable. The jet velocity and attack angle can be accurately controlled. The repeatability and ranking consistency of the test results are satisfactory. The test parameters can be adjusted in a wide range, so that the tester can simulate various practical working conditions. Electrochemical test data can be automatically collected and processed. Dynamic polarization curves can be obtained during erosion-corrosion test, which can be used to study the dynamic corrosion characteristics.Two high chromium cast irons were studied in hot concentrated alkaline slurry. The results show that the erosioncorrosion mass loss rate and dynamic corrosion rate of 295Cr26 iron is lower than that of 185Cr13 under the conditions similar to alumyte processing. The mechanism of erosion-corrosion of 295Cr26 and 185Cr13 was studied by using the tester. The interaction between erosion and corrosion was also quantitatively evaluated. 展开更多

The mechanical properties of colluvium strongly govern the stability of colluvial slopes, and they arc essential for the related analysis and design. Nevertheless, their measurement is not easy on account of heterogeneity in property and difficulty of sampling. This study attempted to evaluate the shear strength of remolded colluvium by means of a simple direct shear test in the field. A portable direct shear tester was designed to overcome the inconvenience and expensiveness of the conventional large-scale in-situ direct shear test. It can be easily assembled and applied for the silnplc field direct shear test. For calibration, the results of the portable direct shear tester were compared with the results of the laboratory direct shear tester for four different types of soil samples, i.e. standard sand, slate debris, arenaceous shale debris and mixture of gravel and sand. Correlation formulas were established based on the calibration, enabling the portable direct shear tester to measure and estimate the shear strength of remoldcd colluvium in field. This study primarily focuses on the colluvium in Central Taiwan, including the lateritic Dadu Terrace and the arcnaceous shale of Taiping-Wufcng mounts. Maize breeding efforts to generate high yielding and adaptive cultivars have recently been given emphasis by national maize breeding program. In Ethiopia, the maize production system is mainly dominated by subsistence farmers where their production is below average. The objectives of this study were to determine the combining ability between lines and testers, and to evaluate the performance of crosses (hybrids) and parents for grain yield and yield component traits. Twenty-seven inbred lines were generated by crossing nine female lines (L1-L9) and three male testers (T1-T3) using line × tester mating system at International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), East African high land maize improvement program. The inbred lines along with parents were evaluated in randomized complete block design with two replications at three locations (Ambo, Kulumsa and Haramaya). Significant differences were observed among genotypes for all ten traits considered. Eight crosses (L1 × T2, L1 × T3, L3 × T3, L8 × T1, L4 × T2, L9 × T1, L2 × T1, and L2 × T2) had higher yield performance compared to other crosses across environments. Significant mean square differences were found across locations for general combining ability (GCA) due to lines for all traits except for number of kernel rows per ear, whereas GCA due to testers were significant only for grain yield, ear length and 1000-seed weight. Significant mean square due to GCA × Loc (both for lines and testers) was found for days to maturity (38.71*), 1000-seed weight (4582.36**) and grain yield (2756777**), while significant SCA × Loc interaction was found for all traits except number of kernel rows per ear (1.07), ear length (0.79) and ear diameter (0.12), suggesting that the importance of additive and non-additive gene effects in controlling these characters. 展开更多

The present research was conducted in Line X tester analysis for estimating combining ability and heterotic effects,restorers malesterile(CMS) crossed with seven tester lines 3x7 21 F_1 hybrids of sunflower were further used to estimate their general combining ability(GCS),specific combining ability(SCA) and heterosis effects on main traits of sunflower during 2009.For this study,seven lines of sunflower were tested with three testers 7x3 of sunflower to obtain twenty one F_1 genotypes from Line X tester mating design.It was concluded from present study that among the lines,0505 Cms-6,Peshawer-93 Cms-11,Peshawar-93 Cms-12 were the best general combiners to play the vital role in flowering,maturity,plant height,head diameter,seed index,grain per head and 100-grain yield per plant.While RHP-53,RHP-42,RHP-46 were also the best combiners for all the traits.However,hybrid 54CMS-1 x RHP-42 showed best specific combiners,while Peshawer-93 exhibited good specific combiners for grain yield per plant,the hybrids,plant height,head diameter,seed index,grain per head and grain yield per plant,respectively.Significant differences among the tested sunflower genotypes with regard to mean values of all the investigated traits were determined.The analysis of variance of combining abilities and the analysis of genetic variance components confirmed the non-additive component. 展开更多

The genotoxic activities of effluents from drainage water treatment plants were examined by using the novel <em>umu</em> tester strain NM8001, which lacks <em>MutMst</em> genes. To enhance the sensitivity of the LacZ assay, a BugBuster mix protein extraction reagent and TokyoGreen-<em>β</em> Gal for a fluorescence-galactosidase substrate were applied. Of the 24 sampling locations present in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, water extracts from nine sampling points showed apparent genotoxic activities without metabolic activation. In contrast, water extracts from the upper sites of these water treatment plants did not show any significant genotoxic activities. The selected samples with genotoxic activity did not show significant mutagenicity toward Ames strains TA98 and TA100. Genotoxicity was also well correlated with the activity of a classical <em>umu </em>strain of TA1535/pSK1002;these findings indicate that the genotoxicity induced by oxidative damage was not a significant component of the genotoxicity. 展开更多

These recent developments have led to a great deal of research interest in electronic diagnostic systems, especially of effective diagnosis methods of detection, localization and identification levels of hard (catastrophic) and soft (parametric) faults in analog circuits. At present, the majority of electronic devices (embedded systems) are designed based on digital circuits;however a lot of them also contain analog components that require more complicated testing techniques. This paper presents a novel, electronic components tester board with inside, outside of circuit under tested. The design is first simulated by using the electronic work-bench software Multisim 11 in order to obtain satisfactory theoretical results for each standalone element of the design. Moreover, neither the demulsification voltage method nor the centrifugal method currently used to evaluate the stability of oil-based drilling fluids can reflect the emulsification stability of drilling fluids under high temperature and high pressure on site. Therefore, a high-temperature and high-pressure oil-based drilling fluid emulsion stability evaluation instrument is studied, which is mainly composed of a high-temperature autoclave body, a test electrode, a temperature control system, a pressure control system, and a test system. The stability test results of the instrument show that the instrument can achieve stable testing and the test data has high reliability. This instrument is used to analyze the factors affecting the emulsion stability of oil-based drilling fluids. The experimental results show that under the same conditions, the higher the stirring speed, the better the emulsion stability of the drilling fluid;the longer the stirring time, the better the emulsion stability of the drilling fluid;the greater the oil-water ratio, the better the emulsion stability of the drilling fluid. And the test results of the emulsification stability of oil-based drilling fluids at high temperature and high pressure show that under the same pressure, as the temperature rises, the emulsion stability of oil-based drilling fluids is significantly reduced;at the same temperature, the With the increase in pressure, the emulsion stability of oil-based drilling fluids is in a downward trend, but the decline is not large.
