Nowadays,it is extremely urgent for the software engineering education to cultivate the knowledge and ability of database talents in the era of big data.To this end,this paper proposes a talent training teaching modal...Nowadays,it is extremely urgent for the software engineering education to cultivate the knowledge and ability of database talents in the era of big data.To this end,this paper proposes a talent training teaching modality that integrates knowledge,ability,practice,and innovation(KAPI)for Database System Course.The teaching modality contains three parts:top-level design,course learning process,and course assurance and evaluation.The top-level design sorts out the core knowledge of the course and determines a mixed online and offline teaching platform.The course learning process emphasizes the correspondence transformation relationship between core knowledge points and ability enhancement,and the course is practiced in the form of experimental projects to finally enhance students’innovation consciousness and ability.The assurance and evaluation of the course are based on the outcome-based education(OBE)orientation,which realizes the objective evaluation of students’learning process and final performance.The teaching results of the course in the past 2 years show that the KAPI-based teaching modality has achieved better results.Meanwhile,students are satisfied with the evaluation of the modality.The teaching modality in this paper helps to stimulate students’initiatives,and improve their knowledge vision and practical ability,and thus helps to cultivate innovative and high-quality engineering talents required by the emerging engineering education.展开更多

For the development of this product line, the proposed approach makes use of a construction of products methodology by analogy: this is a new notation which reports the variability of the products, obtaining metrics as important as the number of products and uses a language that enables, by means of the flexibilization of a product and the development of some generators, to build the rest of the product line. In addition the paper offers a standard for the analysis and design of the CMDB as well. Finally, the paper presents an economic model for the product line, where the profitability and productivity of the proposed solution are analyzed.展开更多

When th...In order to implement semantic mapping of database metasearch engines, a system is proposed, which uses ontology as the organization form of information and records the new words not appearing in the ontology. When the new word' s frequency of use exceeds the threshold, it is added into the ontology. Ontology expansion is implemented in this way. The search process supports "and" and "or" Boolean operations accordingly. In order to improve the mapping speed of the system, a memory module is added which can memorize the recent query information of users and automatically learn the user' s query interest during the mapping which can dynamically decide the search order of instances tables. Experiments prove that these measures can obviously reduce the average mapping time.展开更多

In the focus of our study are the FO (first-order) queries that are invariant under order-preserving permutations-such queries are called order-generic. It was discovered that for some domains order-generic FO queries fail to express more than pure order queries. The collapse result theorem was proved for locally genetic queries over a linearly ordered domain with the Pseudo finite Homogeneity Property (or / and the Isolation Property) by Belegradek et al.. Output-only structural identification is developed by a refined Frequency Domain Decomposition(rFDD) approach, towards assessing current modal properties of heavy-damped buildings(in terms of identification challe...Output-only structural identification is developed by a refined Frequency Domain Decomposition(rFDD) approach, towards assessing current modal properties of heavy-damped buildings(in terms of identification challenge), under strong ground motions. Structural responses from earthquake excitations are taken as input signals for the identification algorithm. A new dedicated computational procedure, based on coupled Chebyshev Type Ⅱ bandpass filters, is outlined for the effective estimation of natural frequencies, mode shapes and modal damping ratios. The identification technique is also coupled with a Gabor Wavelet Transform, resulting in an effective and self-contained time-frequency analysis framework. Simulated response signals generated by shear-type frames(with variable structural features) are used as a necessary validation condition. In this context use is made of a complete set of seismic records taken from the FEMA P695 database, i.e. all 44 "Far-Field"(22 NS, 22 WE) earthquake signals. The modal estimates are statistically compared to their target values, proving the accuracy of the developed algorithm in providing prompt and accurate estimates of all current strong ground motion modal parameters. At this stage, such analysis tool may be employed for convenient application in the realm of Earthquake Engineering, towards potential Structural Health Monitoring and damage detection purposes.展开更多
