Effects of high-quality neurosurgical nursing care on improving clinical nursing quality

BACKGROUND With continuous advancements in medical technology,neurosurgical nursing is constantly developing and improving to provide higher-quality nursing services.AIM To explore the effects of different types of high-quality nursing care on clinical nursing quality and patient satisfaction in neurosurgical nursing.METHODS Eighty patients who received neurosurgical treatment in the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University from June to December 2020 were selected as study participants and categorised into study and control groups.The study group comprised 40 patients who received 4 different types of high-quality nursing care,whereas the control group comprised 40 patients who received conventional nursing care.After a specific period,nursing satisfaction levels and adverse event and complication rates were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Satisfaction with high-quality care was higher than that with conventional care,and high-quality health services and regional services showed the highest satisfaction levels,with an average score of 12 on the Glasgow scale.The satisfaction levels of the study and control groups were 75%and 57%,respectively,with a statistically significant difference(t=7.314,P<0.05).During the nursing period,the adverse event and complication rates were the highest in patients with level III pathology grade and those who underwent neurosurgery(40.02%and 85.93%,respectively),and the difference was statistically significant.CONCLUSION In neurosurgical nursing,employing appropriate high-quality nursing methods can effectively reduce adverse event and complication rates in patients,thereby improving the quality of nursing care and increasing clinical nursing value.

Impact of a High-Quality Nursing Model on Patient Outcomes in Rheumatology:A Randomized Controlled Study

Objective:To enhance the overall nursing effectiveness in the rheumatology and immunology department,explore specific strategies to improve nursing quality using a high-quality care model,and develop a comprehensive nursing system.Methods:A total of 120 hospitalized patients with rheumatoid arthritis from 2022 to January 2024 were selected.These patients were randomly divided into two groups:an observation group(60 patients)and a control group(60 patients).The control group received conventional nursing care,which included creating a good care environment,providing drug guidance,and offering psychological support.In the observation group,a high-quality nursing model was implemented with a focus on meeting the specific needs of the patients.The two groups were compared in terms of complication rates,treatment compliance,nurse-patient disputes,patient satisfaction with nursing care,sleep quality(PSQI score),and pain levels(VAS score).Results:The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.33%,significantly lower than that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Nursing compliance in the observation group was 100%,and patient satisfaction was 96.67%,both higher than in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Additionally,the VAS pain score in the observation group decreased to 2.12±1.89,and the PSQI sleep quality score decreased to 6.89±0.33,both lower than in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Focusing on the needs of patients through a high-quality nursing model provides targeted care that improves overall nursing effectiveness for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.This approach enhances patient satisfaction with nursing care,increases treatment compliance,reduces the incidence of complications and nurse-patient disputes,improves sleep quality,and alleviates pain.This model holds significant value for broader applications.

Chinese nursing postgraduates'views on implementing outcome-oriented academic English course:a descriptive study

Background:According to previous studies on professional English course teaching,the evaluation of course teaching was positive,but the vast majorities focus on medical English literature reading,professional English vocabulary,and professional English translation.As an alternative,the course design based on academic learning needs under the outcome-oriented education/model emphasizes the improvement of students'comprehensive ability in oral expression,literature reading,writing,and academic communication.Objectives:The objective of this study was to analyze nursing postgraduates'opinions on learning the outcome-oriented academic English course.Methods:This is a cross-sectional descriptive study.A total of 150 first-year nursing postgraduates enrolled in the“Academic Professional English for Nursing Postgraduates”course.After completing the course learning,students scanned QR codes generated by the online questionnaire and completed it anonymously within 48 h.Results:The students who participated in this course strongly believed that it“helped them strengthen their English speakability”(4.8 points),“made them more confident to participate in international academic conferences and exchanges in the future”(4.8 points),and“helped them apply English more in the nursing professional field in the future”(4.7 points).Conclusions:The implementation of outcome-oriented course teaching helps students to understand the research of foreign scholars and effectively express their own research content with English as a tool.It motivates them to continuously use English for professional and academic communication.

Exploration of the Curriculum Reform Path in the Period of High-Quality Development of University Educational Psychology

The theoretical and applied characteristics of educational psychology courses in colleges and universities are prominent,and actively promoting curriculum reform is more conducive to promoting the implementation of talent training goals,which is in line with the practical needs of social development for high-quality talents.However,curriculum reform is a systematic project,which involves the innovation of curriculum content systems,teaching methods,teaching evaluations,and so on.This paper mainly expounds on the curriculum reform path in the period of high-quality development of educational psychology in colleges and universities,hoping to play a reference role in improving the level of education management.

Digital resources for nursing education:Open courseware and massive open online courses

Open Courseware(OCW)and massive open online courses(MOOCs)are teaching and learning resources that are easily accessible to anyone with an Internet connection.OCW is digitally published learning content including full and partial courses(syllabi,outlines,lectures in pdf or video,slides,reference lists,etc.),simulations,animations,tutorials,drills and practices,modules,podcasts,case studies,and quizzes.This content is free and can be adopted or adapted to the user's needs.MOOCs are online learning experiences taught by university professors using conventional educational tools including video lectures,interactive modules,assignments,study materials,discussion boards,quizzes and tests.MOOCs are offered free or at low cost for personal and professional learning,and as a supplement to classroom teaching.Many MOOCs and OCW focus on topics of interest to nursing,particularly to nurse educators.This article provides the reader with a brief history of the development of OCW and MOOCs,conceptual descriptions,and guidance about how to access and use these new online resources.

Development of Specialized Courses and Establishment of Teaching Materials in Nursing of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine

Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11 thCentral Committee of the Communist Party of China( CPC),with the promotion and development of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),the pace of TCM nursing work has been accelerated in nationwide,and a group of integrated Chinese and western medicine nurses have been cultivated preliminarily. However,professional nurses of integrated Chinese and western medicine are still deficient extremely. The target of talent cultivation,based on the theory of "focusing on humanism,expanding diathesis,and enhancing practice to highlight the accommodation and integration of nurses of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine",is to cultivate competent,practical and interdisciplinary senior nursing talents with strong professional basis,skilled operations,rich humanistic literacy,and sharp innovative spirit who not only master modern nursing knowledge and skills,but also can perform comprehensive nursing under the guidance of TCM theory of holistic concept and syndrome differentiation and nursing. This study,through investigating and analyzing the settings of3-year nursing professional courses in about 20 senior medical colleges,including senior nursing education of TCM,reformed the development of professional nursing courses of integrated Chinese and western medicine and the establishment of educational materials according to the course settings and educational work modes,so as to analyze the current status of nursing education of integrated Chinese and western medicine,determine course targets,and establish course system and educational work modes.

Exploration on the Reform of PBL Mode of Course:Comprehensive Experiment of Basic Medicine for Nursing Undergraduates in Colleges and Universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The undergraduate education of nursing science produces higher practical operational talents to the society,and the importance of experimental teaching cannot be ignored in the training of nursing students.The basic experimental teaching method of undergraduate nursing has been explored and reformed by the College of Basic Medicine of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine.After the reform,the experimental teaching adopts the teaching method of PBL mode,and the experimental course is composed of several specific and important medical problems.The specific tasks involved in each problem include relevant morphological knowledge,functional knowledge,diagnostic and laboratory knowledge,and clinical medical knowledge.It makes the teaching content of experimental course more comprehensive,and leads to the transition from basic medicine to clinical medicine.This has gradually and effectively improved the practical ability,scientific research thinking,clinical comprehensive ability and learning interest of undergraduate nursing students.

Application Value of High-Quality Nursing Intervention in Patients with Cirrhotic Ascites

Objective:To study the application value of high-quality nursing intervention in patients with cirrhotic ascites.Methods:From February 2018 to February 2020,80 patients with cirrhotic ascites,treated in Yancheng No.1 People’s Hospital,were selected as the subjects for this study.The patients were divided into two groups based on the type of nursing intervention:a routine group and an observation group,with 40 cases in each group.The routine group received routine nursing,and the observation group received high-quality nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing.The nursing effects and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed and compared.Results:The total effective cases in the observation group were 39 cases,with a total effective rate of 97.5%;the total effective cases in the routine group were 33 cases,with a total effective rate of 82.5%.The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the routine group(P<0.05).In the routine group,there were eight cases of adverse reactions,in which the incidence of adverse reactions was 20.0%,whereas there were only two cases of adverse reactions in the observation group,in which the incidence of adverse reactions was 5.0%.The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the routine group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of high-quality nursing intervention in patients with cirrhotic ascites can improve the nursing effect and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions;thus,it should be popularized in clinical settings.

Effect of High-Quality Nursing on Patients with Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome

Objective:To explore and analyze the effect of high-quality nursing on patients with epidemic hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome.Methods:Ninety patients with epidemic hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome treated in Huyi District People’s Hospital from October 2021 to January 2022 were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group,with 45 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing and the experimental group received high-quality nursing.The effect of routine nursing and high-quality nursing were compared and analyzed based on the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),the degree of satisfaction with nursing care,and the patients’quality of life.Results:Before nursing,there was no significant difference in the patients’psychological state between the two groups(P>0.05);after nursing,there was significant difference in the patients’psychological state between the two groups(P<0.05);the degree of satisfaction with nursing care of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);comparing the quality of life of the two groups,the quality-of-life score of the control group was significantly lower than that of the experimental group(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with epidemic hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome,high-quality nursing can significantly and effectively improve their psychological state,level of satisfaction with nursing care,and quality of life.

Research on Implementation Modes of Ideological and Political Courses in Pediatric Nursing

with the continuous advancement of socialist modernization,China needs more and more talents,in particular the talents who are not only high in professional techniques,but also high in ideological and moral level and thinking ability,thus producing ideological and political courses.Along with the constant development of education cause,the professional education starts to concern on ideological and political work and integrate ideological and political courses into professional teaching.To this end,the paper explores the specific implementation path of ideological and political course mode from the perspective of pediatric nursing,describes ideological and political courses in detail and points out the requirements on the construction of ideological and political courses of pediatric nursing so as to provide reference for education of pediatric nursing and improvement of students’comprehensive quality.

Research Progress on Effective Implementation of Whole Process Nursing Model for Patients with Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer has a high mortality rate in clinic.This disease seriously threatens the physical and mental health and life safety of patients.At present,radical surgery is mainly used for treatment,but in order to reduce the incidence of intraoperative and postoperative complications,corresponding nursing needs to be coordinated.This time focuses on the complications after radical surgery for cervical cancer,and puts forward the nursing methods of common complications of transabdominal radical surgery for cervical cancer.In order to improve the quality of nursing and life of patients,this paper summarizes the effective implementation of the whole process nursing model after cervical cancer surgery.

Learning outcomes of nursing curriculum in Turkey:a cross-sectional study

Objective:To assess the nursing curriculum and point out learning outcomes in Turkey.Methods:A cross-sectional design was used in this study.This study was conducted between May and June 2017 from 23 undergraduate nursing schools'education programs for one education and academic year's curriculum.The public information of the universities collected from their web sites and learning outcomes of the schools were classified as cognitive,psychomotor,and affective domains.Results:It appears that half of the basic nursing courses are in the psychomotor domain,and the majority of basic medical sciences courses are in the cognitive domain.Learning outcomes about the affective domain mostly take place in basic nursing courses.Conclusions:The findings of the results of this study can provide insight into current nursing education and guide new curricula to be developed.

Cancer Pain with Standardized Nursing

Background: The incidence of cancer pain in patients with malignant tumors is relatively high, and pain control is poor, which is closely related to many factors, especially the nursing way. Objective: To explore the effect of standardized nursing model on pain control in patients with malignant tumors. Methods: 50 patients with malignant tumors treated in the Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical College from January to December in 2021 were randomly divided into 25 cases in the control group and 25 cases in the observation group. The pain control and medication compliance of the two groups were compared. Results: There was no difference in the corresponding score of admission pain between the two groups (P > 0.05), and the pain score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P P Conclusion: Standardized cancer pain nursing can ease the pain of patients, and the medication compliance is better.

护理学一流课程在实践教学中的探索与思考

目的:分析护理学虚拟仿真实验教学一流课程的运行情况,以更好地推进实践教学。方法:以山西医科大学护理学虚拟仿真实验教学一流课程“呼吸困难病人综合护理虚拟仿真实验——以慢性阻塞性肺疾病为例”为切入点,探讨一流课程在教学中的应用效果。结果:通过多次反复操作,学生成绩不断提高,用时逐渐缩短,学习积极性明显提高,对知识点的掌握更加扎实,教学效果得到改善。结论:通过虚拟仿真实验教学一流课程的实施,参照成绩及评价指标及时调整实践设计,可不断加强实践应用效果。

社区护理学国家级线下一流本科课程的教学设计与应用研究

福建医科大学社区护理学于2023年被认定为国家级线下一流本科课程。该文介绍了教学团队基于“分析—设计—开发—实施—评价”(analysis-design-develop-implement-evaluate,ADDIE)模型,在充分分析学情及教学环境等的基础上,结合教学目标、遵循教学规律进行社区护理学教学设计,并实施与评价教学的过程。同时,从学生、教师、课程3个方面介绍课程建设初步成效,旨在推广国家级线下一流本科课程及“学生乐于学习、教师善于教学、师生共同成长”教育生态的建设经验,促进社区护理学教学高质量发展,为同类课程建设与改革提供参考。建议在进行课程教学设计时选择适宜的模型作为指导模型,以提升教学设计与实施的科学性、系统性,保障教学目标的实现。

OBE-CDIO双维导向下儿科护理学校院合作式课程设计与实践研究

选取辽宁中医药大学2022年2—7月同一时间学习儿科护理学课程的2019级护理本科生和2020级专升本护生为研究对象,采用OBE-CDIO双维导向下的校院合作式教学,评价护生的超星平台学习成绩、期末理论成绩、教学满意度,并对比教学前后护生的自主学习能力、评判性思维能力,探讨OBE-CDIO双维导向下的校院合作式教学的实践应用效果。实践表明,OBE-CDIO双维导向下的校院合作式教学在儿科护理学课程中应用取得了较好的效果,课堂教学与临床实际接轨,能提高护生学习成绩、自主学习能力、评判性思维能力和教学满意度,值得推广应用。

基于全国职业院校教学能力大赛视角下基础护理课程教学策略探究

教育部通过职业院校技能大赛教学能力比赛,深入推进职业教育转型,深化职业教育教学改革,在数字化、信息化、智能化革新驱动下,职业教育新型设施建设不断完善与发展。数字化技术为职业教育提供了一条新型教育路径,职业教育迎来了新变革时期。随之,职业院校教师迎来教育教学新挑战和机遇。提升教师数字化应用能力,把育人为本教育方针落到实处,是当前及今后一段时期的职业教育重点。基础护理课程是历年参加教学能力大赛高职专业二组的重要课程之一,是职业院校护理专业的专业核心课程之一。通过比赛促使参赛教师深层次认识本课程教学,探索将比赛成果转化导向引领教学。本文以参加全国职业院校技能大赛教学能力大赛为切入点,探讨基础护理课程如何实施数字素养下教学改革,并形成以急救护理项目为例的教学实施报告,为本课程实施教学改革提供思路。

北京协和医学院护理学院中医针灸学教学改革

目的对护理学院本科生的中医学针灸教学内容进行改革,检验教学改革成效,为优化课程设置提供建设性资料。方法根据既往问卷调查结果修改“中医学(TCM)”针灸课程教学内容,包括减少枯燥理论知识,增加常用针灸技术及临床案例分析。组织2023年北京协和医学院护理学院所有参加中医学授课的本科生填写“针灸课程内容问卷调查表”,内容主要包括课程前学生对针灸的基本认知情况、课程中学生的学习反馈、课程后学生的学习成效及学生对进一步优化针灸课程的改进建议4个方面。结果149名学生参与问卷调查。73.15%的学生对针灸课程感兴趣。62.42%的学生认为最难理解的课程内容是“腧穴各论”部分,71.81%的同学认为最制约学习成效的因素是难以记住经络和穴位。学生最感兴趣的是“针灸治疗概述及常见病的针灸治疗”,占44.3%。通过学习,88.59%的学生愿意向具有适应症的患者推荐针灸治疗。在针灸课程的改进建议方面,学生希望增加课堂实践或操作视频。结论改革后的针灸教学课程内容,突出了课程内容的实用性,提高了学生的学习兴趣和主观能动性,但实践性仍需加强。

以Cameron适时理论为基础的全程护理模式在烧伤后瘢痕整形患者中的应用

目的:研究以Cameron适时理论为基础的全程护理模式对烧伤后瘢痕整形患者的干预效果。方法:选择2021年9月-2022年6月笔者医院收治的60例烧伤后瘢痕整形患者为研究对象,采用随机数字表法分为对照组(30例)和观察组(30例)。对照组给予常规护理干预,观察组在对照组的基础上采用以Cameron适时理论为基础的全程护理模式进行干预,两组均干预8周。统计比较两组瘢痕恢复效果、并发症发生情况、心理状态、应对方式及护理满意度。结果:干预后,观察组创面渗出持续时间、疼痛持续时间均短于对照组(P<0.05);两组创面愈合时间、色素沉着率比较差异无统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预8周后,观察组瘢痕恢复总有效率显著高于对照组(P<0.05);观察组心理韧性评分高于对照组(P<0.05),焦虑、抑郁、心理困扰评分低于对照组(P<0.05);观察组屈服、回避评分低于对照组(P<0.05),面对评分高于对照组(P<0.05);观察组护理总满意率高于对照组(P<0.05)。干预期间,观察组总并发症发生率低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:以Cameron适时理论为基础的全程护理模式对烧伤后瘢痕整形患者进行干预,可有效促进患者创面愈合,改善患者心理状态及应对方式,降低并发症发生率,患者满意度高,具有较好的应用价值。
