From this, properties of gravity-generating objects (particles and black holes) can be derived, which can also describe their possible interior. This also leads to questions about stability, which are then addressed and ultimately lead to considerations of black holes and their possible internal structure. To lower the risk of the stuck pipe in backreaming operations, the mechanism of cuttings transport needs to be carefully investigated. In this research, a transient cuttings transport with multiple flow patterns model is developed to predict the evolution of cuttings transported in the annulus while backreaming. The established model can provide predictions of the distribution of cuttings bed along the wellbore considering the bulldozer effect caused by large-size drilling tools(LSDTs). The sensitivity analyses of the size of LSDTs, and backreaming operating parameters are conducted in Section 4. And a new theory is proposed to explain the mechanism of cuttings transport in the backreaming operation, in which both the bit and LSDTs have the “cleaning effect” and “plugging effect”.The results demonstrate that the cuttings bed in annuli is in a state of dynamic equilibrium, but the overall trend and the distribution pattern are obvious. First, larger diameters and longer drilling tools could lead to a higher risk of the stuck pipe. Second, we find that it is not the case that the higher flow rate is always better for hole cleaning, so three flow-rate intervals are discussed separately under the given conditions. When the “dangerous flow rate”(<33 L/s in Case 4) is employed, the cuttings bed completely blocks the borehole near the step surface and causes a stuck pipe directly. If the flow rate increases to the “low flow rate” interval(33-35 L/s in Case 4), a smaller flow rate instead facilitates borehole cleaning. If the flow rate is large enough to be in the “high flow rate” interval(>35 L/s in Case 4),the higher the flow rate, the better the cleaning effect of cuttings beds. Third, an interval of tripping velocity called “dangerous velocity” is proposed, in which the cuttings bed accumulation near the LSDTs is more serious than those of other tripping velocities. As long as the applied tripping velocity is not within the “dangerous velocity”(0.4-0.5 m/s in Case 5) interval in the backreaming operation, the risk of the stuck pipe can be controlled validly. Finally, through the factors analyses of the annular geometry, particle properties, and fluid properties in Section 5, it can be found that the “low flow rate”, “high flow rate” and “dangers flow rate” tend to decrease and the “dangerous velocity” tends to increase with the conditions more favorable for hole cleaning. This study has some guiding significance for risk prediction and parameter setting of the backreaming operation.展开更多

Due to theproximity of each fracture during the formation of the fracture network, there is significant stress interference, which results in uneven fracture propagation. It is common practice to use “balls” to temporarily plug fractureopenings in order to lessen liquid intake and achieve uniform propagation in each cluster. In this study, a diameteroptimization model is introduced for these plugging balls based on a multi-cluster fracture propagationmodel and a perforation dynamic abrasion model. This approach relies on proper consideration of the multiphasenature of the considered problem and the interaction force between the involved fluid and solid phases. Accordingly,it can take into account the behavior of the gradually changing hole diameter due to proppant continuousperforation erosion. Moreover, it can provide useful information about the fluid-dynamic behavior of the consideredsystem before and after plugging. It is shown that when the diameter of the temporary plugging ball is1.2 times that of the perforation hole, the perforation holes of each cluster can be effectively blocked.展开更多

But different from tests conventionally performed previously, we vary multiple deformation coefficients simultaneously and employ the principal component analysis(PCA) method to remedy the strong degeneracy among deformation coefficients and obtain informative posteriors. The dominant PCA components can be better measured and constrained, and thus are expected to be more sensitive to potential departures from the waveform model. Using this method we analyze ten selected events and get the result that the combined posteriors of the dominant PCA parameters are consistent with GR within 99.7% credible intervals. The standard deviation of the first dominant PCA parameter is three times smaller than that of the original dispersion parameter of the leading order. However, the multi-parameter test with PCA is more sensitive to not only potential deviations from GR but also systematic errors of waveform models. The difference in results obtained by using different waveform templates hints that the demands of waveform accuracy are higher to perform the multiparameter test with PCA. Whereas, it cannot be strictly proven that the deviation is indeed and only induced by systematic errors. It requires more thorough research in the future to exclude other possible reasons in parameter estimation and data processing.展开更多

Specifically, sonoluminescence involves the rapid collapse of bubbles, which closely resembles gravitational collapse in space. This observation suggests the potential formation of low-density quantum black holes. These entities, which might be related to dark matter, are thought to experience a kind of transient evaporation similar to Hawking radiation seen in cosmic black holes. Consequently, sonoluminescence could be a valuable tool for investigating phenomena typically linked to cosmic scale events. Furthermore, the role of the Higgs boson is considered in this context, possibly connecting it to both TGFs and sonoluminescence. This research could enhance our understanding of the quantum mechanics of black holes and their relation to dark matter on Earth.展开更多

There are two different types of mathematical solutions, depending on the value of a constant of integration. These two types of solutions are analysed from a physical point of view. The comparison with the linear theory limit is also considered. This leads to a new solution, different from the well known one. If one considers the observational data in the weak field limit this new solution is in agreement with the available data. While the traditional Schwarzschild solution is characterized by a horizon at r=2GM/c2, no horizon exists in this new solution.展开更多

DEOs are new astrophysical objects that are made up of entropy-free incompressible supranuclear dense superfluid (SuSu-matter), embedded in flat spacetimes and invisible to outside observers, practically trapped in false vacua. Based on highly accurate numerical modelling of the internal structures of pulsars and massive neutron stars, and in combination with using a large variety of EOSs, we show that the mass range of DEOs is practically unbounded from above: it spans those of massive neutron stars, stellar and even supermassive black holes: thanks to the universal maximum density of normal matter, , beyond which normal matter converts into SuSu-matter. We apply the scenario to the Crab and Vela pulsars, the massive magnetar PSR J0740 6620, the presumably massive NS formed in GW170817, and the SMBHs in Sgr A* and M87*. Our numerical results also reveal that DEO-Envelope systems not only mimic massive BHs nicely but also indicate that massive DEOs can hide vast amounts of matter capable of turning our universe into a SuSu-matter-dominated one, essentially trapped in false vacua.展开更多

文摘We examine thermodynamic phase transition(PT)of the charged Gauss-Bonnet Ad S black hole(BH)by utilizing the shadow radius. In this system,we rescale the corresponding Gauss-Bonnet coefficientαby a factor of 1/(D-4),and ensure thatαis positive to avoid any singularity problems. The equation derived for the shadow radius indicates that it increases as the event horizon radius increases, making it an independent variable for determining BH temperature.By investigating the PT curve in relation to shadows,we can observe that the shadow radius can be used as an alternative to the event horizon radius in explaining the phenomenon of BH PT.Furthermore, the results indicate that an increase in the parameterαcorresponds to a decrease in the temperature of the BH.By utilizing the relationship between the temperature and the shadow radius,it is possible to obtain the thermal profile of the Gauss-Bonnet AdS BH.It is evident that there is an N-type variation in temperature for pressures P<P_(c).Additionally,as the parameterαincreases, the region covered by shadow expands while the temperature decreases. The utilization of BH shadows as a probe holds immense significance in gaining a deeper understanding of BH thermodynamic behavior.
文摘This article describes an extension of the theory of vortices to electromagnetic types with a start point from known fluid systems. From this, properties of gravity-generating objects (particles and black holes) can be derived, which can also describe their possible interior. This also leads to questions about stability, which are then addressed and ultimately lead to considerations of black holes and their possible internal structure. The results fit into the observable areas and can also be directly verified because they were analytically calculated in SI units.
文摘The study of a disturbed accretion disk holds great significance in the realm of astrophysics,as such events play a crucial role in revealing the nature of disk structure, the release of energy, and the generation of shock waves.Consequently, they can help explain the causes of X-ray emissions observed in black hole accretion disk systems. In this paper,we perturb the stable disk formed by spherical accretion around Kerr and Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet(EGB)black holes. This perturbation reveals one-and two-armed spiral shock waves around the black hole.We find a strong connection between these waves and the black hole spin parameter(a/M)and the EGB coupling constant(α).Specifically,we find that asαincreases in the negative direction, the dynamics of the disk and the waves become more chaotic.Additionally,we observe that the angular momentum of the perturbing matter significantly affects mass accretion and the oscillation of the arising shock waves. This allows us to observe changes in QPO frequencies, particularly, perturbations with angular momentum matching the observed C-type low-frequency QPOs of the GRS 1915+105 source. Thus,we conclude that the possibility of the occurrence of shock waves within the vicinity of GRS 1915+105 is substantial.

文摘The backreaming operation plays a significant role in safe drilling for horizontal wellbores, while it may cause severe stuck pipe accidents. This study has some guiding significance for risk prediction and parameter setting of the backreaming operation.

文摘Wireless technology is transforming the future of transportation through the development of the Internet of Vehicles(IoV).However, intricate security challenges are intertwinedwith technological progress:Vehicular ad hoc Networks(VANETs),a core component of IoV,face security issues, particularly the Black Hole Attack(BHA).This malicious attack disrupts the seamless flow of data and threatens the network’s overall reliability;also,BHA strategically disrupts communication pathways by dropping data packets from legitimate nodes altogether.Recognizing the importance of this challenge,we have introduced a new solution called ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector-Reputation-based mechanism Local Outlier Factor(AODV-RL).The significance of AODVRL lies in its unique approach:it verifies and confirms the trustworthiness of network components, providing robust protection against BHA.An additional safety layer is established by implementing the Local Outlier Factor(LOF),which detects and addresses abnormal network behaviors.Rigorous testing of our solution has revealed its remarkable ability to enhance communication in VANETs.Specifically,Our experimental results achieve message delivery ratios of up to 94.25%andminimal packet loss ratios of just 0.297%.Based on our experimental results, the proposedmechanismsignificantly improves VANET communication reliability and security. These results promise a more secure and dependable future for IoV,capable of transforming transportation safety and efficiency.

文摘The technology of expansion fracturing with liquid CO_(2)(EFLCO_(2))has attracted increasing attention due to reduced vibration and damage. The disposable fracturing tube has been developed and is gradually replacing the Cardox tube. However, there is a lack of impact pressure testing of disposable tubes under real working conditions, selection of gas explosion design parameters, and systematic analysis of blasting vibration. This limitation has constrained the widespread application of disposable fracturing tubes in engineering.A joint monitoring of the pressure-time curves in the disposable tubes and boreholes was conducted. The rock-breaking effect of varying hole spacing parameters in the EFLCO_(2)design was analyzed, and a systematic study was carried out on the vibration peak value, frequency, and energy characteristics. The results show that(1)the pressure distribution characteristics, stress peak value, and duration in the disposable tubes are different from those of Cardox tubes, which show multi-peak distribution,low-pressure peak value, and short duration. The correlation between the pressure in the disposable tube, filling pressure, and liquid CO_(2)weight is established, and a theoretical calculation method for the borehole wall pressure is proposed;(2)The hole spacing in rocks of different hardness is suggested;and(3)At the same scale distance, the peak particle velocity(PPV)caused by EFLCO_(2)(PPVCO_(2))is significantly smaller than that caused by blasting(PPVexplosive). The ratio of PPVexplosive to PPVCO_(2)is a power function related to scale distance, and a distance-related zonality exist in this relationship. The frequency composition of the vibration signal caused by EFLCO_(2)is relatively simple with a narrow frequency band. Its PPV and energy are mainly concentrated in the low-frequency band. This research contributes to the optimization of disposable fracturing tubes, gas explosion design, and vibration hazard control.

文摘Deep shale gas reserves that have been fractured typically have many relatively close perforation holes. It is shown that when the diameter of the temporary plugging ball is1.2 times that of the perforation hole, the perforation holes of each cluster can be effectively blocked.

文摘In this work, we consider a conventional test of gravitational wave(GW) propagation which is based on the phenomenological parameterized dispersion relation to describe potential departures from General Relativity(GR)along the propagation of GWs. It requires more thorough research in the future to exclude other possible reasons in parameter estimation and data processing.
文摘In the study of Terrestrial Gamma-ray Flashes (TGFs) and Sonoluminescence, we observe parallels with larger cosmic events. This research could enhance our understanding of the quantum mechanics of black holes and their relation to dark matter on Earth.
文摘In this article, we address the solution of the Einstein’s equations in the vacuum region surrounding a spherically symmetric mass distribution. While the traditional Schwarzschild solution is characterized by a horizon at r=2GM/c2, no horizon exists in this new solution.
文摘In this paper, we show that massive envelopes made of highly compressed normal matter surrounding dark objects (DEOs) can curve the surrounding spacetime and make the systems observationally indistinguishable from their massive black hole counterparts. Our numerical results also reveal that DEO-Envelope systems not only mimic massive BHs nicely but also indicate that massive DEOs can hide vast amounts of matter capable of turning our universe into a SuSu-matter-dominated one, essentially trapped in false vacua.
