TiB2/ZL114 composites with the density of 2.733 g/cm^3 were fabricated through reaction of K2TiF4 and KBF4 (LSM method). The composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The internal friction measurements were performed on DTM-II-J dynamic modulus damping analyzer and the mechanisms were investigated. Experimental results indicate that reinforced particles are well-distributed in the matrix and the internal friction value of TiB2/ZL114 composites is up to a maximum of 9.04×10^-3, almost twice that of ZL114. The internal friction results form dislocation vibration within the material, the sliding of grain boundary and phase interface, and together with the micro-plastic deformation caused by difference in coefficients of thermal expansion and elasticity modulus of various phases. The average internal friction values of samples with the sizes of 40 mm×4 mm×2 mm, 40 mm×8 mm×2 mm and 40 mm×25 mm×2 mm are 8.83 ×10^-3, 8.89 × 10^-3, and 8.93× 10^-3, respectively. Thus, the developed composites are of low density, high internal friction, and the sizes of samples have no relation to the internal friction behavior. 展开更多

The welding property of TiB2/ZL101 composite was investigated using electron beam(EB) welding experimental system with a function generator.The fine defect-free welding seam was obtained under proper processing parameters and scanning rate.The reinforcement particles TiB2 distributed homogeneously in welding seam without any segregation.The tensile results show that fracture occurs at the base metal and elastic modulus increases compared with base metal.Wear resistance of welding seam is improved greatly compared with base metal.The results show that the TiB2/ZL101 composite can be successfully welded by EB technology. 展开更多

在ZL114A铝合金粉末中加入TiB颗粒,通过球磨法制备了TiB质量分数为1%和2%的TiB/ZL114A复合粉末,并用激光选区熔化(SLM)技术成形TiB/ZL114A复合材料。结果表明,1%的TiB颗粒可提升ZL114A合金试样的致密度,孔洞明显减少,致密度由98.2%提升... 在ZL114A铝合金粉末中加入TiB颗粒,通过球磨法制备了TiB质量分数为1%和2%的TiB/ZL114A复合粉末,并用激光选区熔化(SLM)技术成形TiB/ZL114A复合材料。结果表明,1%的TiB颗粒可提升ZL114A合金试样的致密度,孔洞明显减少,致密度由98.2%提升至99.1%;抗拉强度和显微硬度(HV)分别由315 MPa、109.2提升至366 MPa、118.6,伸长率由6.3%提升至10.5%。TiB/ZL114A复合材料试样经320℃×2 h退火后,抗拉强度和显微硬度(HV)降至295 MPa和84.3,而伸长率达到19.8%;经525℃×3 h+180℃×6 h固溶时效处理后,复合材料抗拉强度略降至331 MPa,但伸长率达到14.2%。2TiB/ZL114A复合材料试样组织内部TiB颗粒发生团聚长大,导致内部存在大量的孔洞缺陷,致密度和力学性能都明显下降。 展开更多
