The reaction procedure of Ti-Al-C system could be divided into three stnges. Below 900℃ , Ti reacts with Al to form TiAl intermetallics ; above 900 ℃ , C reacts with remain Ti to form TiC triggered by the exothermal reaction of Ti and Al ; TiAl reacts with TiC to produce dense TiAl/Ti2AlC compasites.In the holding stage, ternary Ti2AlC develops to layered polycrystal and composites pyknosis in the meanwhile. Physical performance such as density, resistivity, hardness ... Cu/Ti2AlC composites were fabricated by vacuum hot-pressing technique. Phase composition was analyzed by XRD and morphology of fracture was observed by SEM. Physical performance such as density, resistivity, hardness and friction coefficient with different volume fraction of Cu/Ti2AlC composites were studied. When the content of Ti2AlC increased from 10% to 70%, the relative density reduced from 99.38% to 90.56% and the resistivity increased significantly. Hardness reached the maximum value when Ti2AlC was at 60% and friction coefficient declined with the increasing of Ti2AlC. Cu/Ti2AlC composites, showing good conductivity properties and friction performance. Oxidation resistance enhanced obviously with the content of Ti2AlC increasing. Cu-60%Ti2AlC sample possessed optimum thermal shock resistance, and no cracking was found at 600 ℃ cycled for 10 times and 900 ℃ cycled for 1 time. 展开更多

By using the spark plasma sintering process, Ti2AlC/TiAlcomposite with the addition of Niobium (Nb) was prepared in-situ and the microstructure of Ti2AlC/TiAl (Nb) composite was investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and high-resolution electron microscopy (HREM). The results indicate that new-formed Ti2AIC particles disperse with a high degree of uniformity and well combine with the matrix. In the area of phase interface the d-spaces of Ti2AlC (100) and TiAI (110) were measured as 0.2648 nm and 0.2991 nm,respectively. The atom arrangement beside the interface was only partly corresponding, existing in semicoherent state. On the contrary, in the area of grain interface the d-spaces of TiAl (100) and TiAl (110) were measured as 0.2462 nm and 0.2631 nm,respectively and the atom arrangement beside the interface was almost corresponding, existing in coherent state. 展开更多

The interfacial reaction behavior of Al and Ti_(3)AlC_(2)at different pouring temperatures and its effect on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated.The results show that the addition of3.0 wt.%Ti_(3)AlC_(2)refines the average grain size ofα(Al)in the composite by 50.1%compared to Al6061 alloy.Morphological analyses indicate that an in-situ Al_(3Ti)transition layer of-180 nm in thickness is generated around the edge of Ti_(3)AlC_(2)at 720℃,forming a well-bonded Al-Al_(3Ti)interface.At this processing temperature,the ultimate tensile strength of A16061-3.0 wt.%Ti_(3)AlC_(2)composite is 199.2 MPa,an improvement of 41.5%over the Al6061 matrix.Mechanism analyses further elucidate that 720℃is favourable for forming the nano-sized transition layer at the Ti_(3)AlC_(2)edges.And,the thermal mismatch strengthening plays a dominant role in this state,with a strengthening contribution of about 74.8%. 展开更多

In this work,flexible photothermal PVA/Ti_(2)O_(3) composite films with different amount(0 wt%,5 wt%,10 wt%,15 wt%)of Ti_(2)O_(3) particles modified by steric acid were prepared by a simple solution casting method.The microstructures,XRD patterns,FTIR spectra,UV-Vis-NIR spectra thermo-conductivity,thermo-stability and photothermal effects of these composite films were all characterized.These results indicated that Ti_(2)O_(3) particles were well dispersed throughout the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)matrix in the PVA/Ti_(2)O_(3) composite films.And Ti_(2)O_(3) particles could also effectively improve the photothermal properties of the composite films which exhibited high light absorption and generated a high temperature(about 57.4℃for film with 15 wt%Ti_(2)O_(3) amount)on the surface when it was irradiated by a simulated sunlight source(1 kW/m^(2)). 展开更多

Ti_(2)AlC/TiAl composites with different volume fractions were prepared by hot pressing technology,and their reinforced structural characteristics and mechanical properties were evaluated.The results showed that when the reinforced phase volume fraction of Ti_(2)AlC was 20%,three-dimensional interpenetrating network structures were formed in the composites.Above 20%,Ti_(2)AlC phase in the composites accumulated and grew to form thick skeletal networks.The microplastic deformation behavior of Ti_(2)AlC phase,such as kink band and delamination,improved the fracture toughness of the composites.Comparative analysis indicated that the uniform and small interconnecting network structures could further reinforce the composites.The bending strengths of composites prepared with 20 vol.%Ti_(2)AlC reached(900.9±45.0)MPa,which was 25.5% higher than that of TiAl matrix.In general,the co-continuous Ti_(2)AlC/TiAl composite with excellent mechanical properties can be prepared by powder metallurgy method. 展开更多

Magnesium composites reinforced by N-deficient Ti_(2)AlN MAX phase were first fabricated by non-pressure infiltration of Mg into three-dimensional(3D)co-continuous porous Ti_(2)AlN_(x)(x=0.9,1.0)preforms.The relationship between their mechanical properties and micro-structure is discussed with the assessment of 2D and 3D characterization.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy detected no impurities.The 3D reconstruction shows that the uniformly distributed pores in Ti_(2)AlN_(x) preforms are interconnected,which act as infiltra-tion tunnels for the melt Mg.The compressive yield strength and microhardness of Ti_(2)AlN_(0.9)/Mg are 353 MPa and 1.12 GPa,respectively,which are 8.55%and 6.67%lower than those of Ti_(2)AlN/Mg,respectively.The typical delamination and kink band occurred in Ti_(2)AlN_(x) under compressive and Vickers hardness(V_(H))tests.Owing to the continuous skeleton structure and strong interfacial bonding strength,the crack ini-tiated in Ti_(2)AlN_(x) was blocked by the plastic Mg matrix.This suggests the possibility of regulating the mechanical performance of Ti_(2)AlN/Mg composites by controlling the N vacancy and the hierarchical structure of Ti_(2)AlN skeleton. 展开更多

The effects of Sm2O2 doped CeO2 nano particles on mechanical properties of Ti3AlC2 were investigated. It was found that the presence of 20SDC nano particles in Ti3AlC2 was very effective to improve the mechanical properties of Ti3AlC2 without spoiling the unique characteristics of Ti3AlC2temary carbide. 展开更多

Uncontrollable Li dendrite growth and infinite volume fluctuation during durative plating and stripping process gravely hinder the application of metallic Li electrode in lithium-oxygen batteries.Herein,oxygen vacancy-rich TiO_(2)(Vo-TiO_(2))nanoparticles(NPs)uniformly dispersing on Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)(Vo-TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2) T_(x))with excellent lithiophilicity feature are presented as effective composite anodes,on which a dense and uniform Li growth behavior is observed.Based on electrochemical studies,mutiphysics simulation and theoretical calculation,it is found that Vo-TiO_(2) coupling with three dimensional(3 D)conductive Ti_(3)C_(2) T_(x) MXene forms highly ordered lithiophilic sites which succeed in guiding Li ions flux and adsorption,thus modulating the uniform Li nucleation and growth.As a result,this composite electrode is capable of preserving Li with high areal capacity of~10 mAh cm^(-2) without the presence of dendrites and large volume expansion.Consequently,the as-prepared Vo-TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2) T_(x)@Li anode shows outstanding performance including low voltage hysteresis(~19 mV)and superior durability(over 750 h).When assembling with the Vo-TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2) T_(x)@Li anodes,lithium-oxygen batteries also deliver enhanced cycling stability and improved rate performance.This work demonstrates the effectiveness of oxygen vacancies in guiding Li nucleating and plating behavior at initial stage and brings a promising strategy for promoting the development of advanced Li metal-based batteries. 展开更多

AgCl/Ti_(3)C_(2)@TiO_(2)ternary composites were prepared to form a heterojunction structure between AgCl and TiO_(2)and introduce Ti3C2 as a cocatalyst.The as-prepared AgCl/Ti_(3)C_(2)@TiO_(2)composites showed higher photocatalytic activity than pure AgCl and Ti_(3)C_(2)@TiO_(2)for photooxidation of a 1,4-dihydropyridine derivative(1,4-DHP)and tetracycline hydrochloride(TCH)under visible light irradiation(λ>400 nm).The photocatalytic activity of AgCl/Ti_(3)C_(2)@TiO_(2)composites depended on Ti_(3)C_(2)@TiO_(2)content,and the catalytic activity of the optimized samples were 6.9 times higher than that of pure AgCl for 1,4-DHP photodehydrogenation and 7.3 times higher than that of Ti_(3)C_(2)@TiO_(2)for TCH photooxidation.The increased photocatalytic activity was due to the formation of a heterojunction structure between AgCl and TiO_(2)and the introduction of Ti3C2 as a cocatalyst,which lowered the internal resistance,sped up the charge transfer,and increased the separation efficiency of photogenerated carries.Photogenerated holes and superoxide radical anions were the major active species in the photocatalytic process. 展开更多

矿用液压支架立柱在井下苛刻工况下长期服役时易发生磨损、腐蚀、变形等问题,进而导致性能退化,严重时引发安全事故。为延长液压支架立柱的使用寿命,利用超高速激光熔覆技术在27SiMn钢表面上制备Ni基Ti_(2)AlC陶瓷涂层,对其微观组织结... 矿用液压支架立柱在井下苛刻工况下长期服役时易发生磨损、腐蚀、变形等问题,进而导致性能退化,严重时引发安全事故。为延长液压支架立柱的使用寿命,利用超高速激光熔覆技术在27SiMn钢表面上制备Ni基Ti_(2)AlC陶瓷涂层,对其微观组织结构、物相、微观硬度等进行表征,并研究其摩擦磨损性能。实验结果表明:制备的涂层与基材冶金结合强度大,涂层致密;涂层的中上部主要由黑色细胞枝晶、灰白色细胞晶体以及浅灰色连续基质组成;涂层的物相以硬质相TiC、Al_(2)O_(3),润滑相Ti_(2)AlC、微量Ti_(3)AlC_(2),金属间化合物Ni_(3)Ti、Ni_(3)Al及γ-Ni固溶体为主;涂层的平均显微硬度为5495HV_(0.2),约为基体的3倍,涂层的摩擦磨损性能相比基体显著提高。 展开更多

为降低金刚石磨削工具的制造成本和能耗,探寻一种在低能耗下实现高性能陶瓷结合剂金刚石磨具的制备工艺,同时研究助燃剂Si和金刚石粒度等因素对样品物相组成、显微形貌和磨削性能的影响。采用Ti、Si、石墨粉和金刚石磨料作为原料,经冷... 为降低金刚石磨削工具的制造成本和能耗,探寻一种在低能耗下实现高性能陶瓷结合剂金刚石磨具的制备工艺,同时研究助燃剂Si和金刚石粒度等因素对样品物相组成、显微形貌和磨削性能的影响。采用Ti、Si、石墨粉和金刚石磨料作为原料,经冷压成型至生胚,通过Ni-Al辅助在微波场加热诱发Ti-Si-C体系发生自蔓延高温合成(SHS)反应以制备Ti_(3)SiC_(2)基金刚石复合材料。结果表明,高热值Ni-Al合金辅助可以缩短样品的烧结时间,还可以将诱发SHS反应的温度点控制在金刚石石墨化温度以下。在Ar保护气氛下,Ti-Si-C体系发生SHS反应,可生成Ti_(3)SiC_(2)、TiC和Ti5Si3等3种物相。随Si含量升高,Ti_(3)SiC_(2)相先增多后减少,当n(Ti):n(Si):n(C)=3∶1.1∶2时,复合材料的磨削性能最佳,磨耗比最高可达286.53。分析不同原料配比下的试样磨耗比差异的产生机制,认为基体组织中存在微小且分布均匀的气孔结构,在磨削时可产生大区域的平整磨削面,易于发挥金刚石磨料的磨削效果,有利于提升复合材料样品的磨削性能。 展开更多

铜合金作为热管理材料长期服役时,会出现冷-热循环条件下的结构性失效问题,因此考虑将具有低膨胀系数的MAX相材料引入到铜合金中,来降低复合材料的热膨胀性。Ti_(3)SiC_(2)是一种兼具陶瓷和金属的优良特性的三元层状陶瓷材料,具有自润... 铜合金作为热管理材料长期服役时,会出现冷-热循环条件下的结构性失效问题,因此考虑将具有低膨胀系数的MAX相材料引入到铜合金中,来降低复合材料的热膨胀性。Ti_(3)SiC_(2)是一种兼具陶瓷和金属的优良特性的三元层状陶瓷材料,具有自润滑、高韧性、高导电性等特点。作为增强相,Ti_(3)SiC_(2)能够提高Cu基复合材料的摩擦性能,降低复合材料的热膨胀系数,因此被应广泛用于电子封装材料、热管理材料等领域。本文将稀土氧化物La_(2)O_(3)引入到Ti_(3)SiC_(2)/Cu复合材料中,研究了La_(2)O_(3)掺杂含量对Ti_(3)SiC_(2)/Cu复合材料物相组成、表面形貌、显微硬度和摩擦因数等的影响。研究发现,利用热压烧结技术能够获得致密度较高的Ti_(3)SiC_(2)/Cu复合材料,相对密度在98.5%以上。适量掺杂La_(2)O_(3)后,Ti_(3)SiC_(2)/Cu复合材料的显微硬度有所增加,能够实现Ti_(3)SiC_(2)/Cu复合材料的弥散强化。随着La_(2)O_(3)掺杂量增加,Ti_(3)SiC_(2)/Cu复合材料的摩擦因数呈现出先降低后增加的趋势。在Cu基复合材料中添加Ti_(3)SiC_(2),能够起到润滑的作用,有利于降低摩擦因数。本研究可为Ti_(3)SiC_(2)/Cu复合材料的工程应用提供试验依据。 展开更多

目的提高燃煤锅炉四管的耐磨性能。方法使用喷雾造粒技术制备FeCrMoSi/Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合粉末,并利用超音速火焰喷涂技术(HVOF)在12CrMoV基体上制备煤油流量分别为26、28、30、32 L/h的复合涂层。使用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)... 目的提高燃煤锅炉四管的耐磨性能。方法使用喷雾造粒技术制备FeCrMoSi/Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合粉末,并利用超音速火焰喷涂技术(HVOF)在12CrMoV基体上制备煤油流量分别为26、28、30、32 L/h的复合涂层。使用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)及其自带的能谱仪(EDS)、Raman、维氏显微硬度计和摩擦磨损试验机研究FeCrMoSi/Ti_(3)SiC_(2)粉末及其涂层相组成、组织结构,检测涂层的力学性能,并对涂层在800℃下的摩擦学性能和磨损机理进行系统分析。结果粉末物相主要由Ti_(3)SiC_(2)、Fe-Cr和TiC组成,涂层的物相与粉末类似,但是新产生了SiC相,且随着煤油流量的升高,Ti_(3)SiC_(2)物相逐渐分解。当煤油流量为30、32 L/h时,涂层内Ti_(3)SiC_(2)物相大量分解。涂层的硬度和断裂韧性随着煤油流量的升高表现出先升高、后降低的趋势,孔隙率和磨损率呈现先减小、后增大的趋势。当煤油流量为28 L/h时,涂层磨损率最低,约为5.44×10^(-15)m^(3)/(N·m)。结论煤油流量为28 L/h时,涂层表面生成的SiO_(2)、TiO_(2)和Fe_(2)O_(3)等氧化物均匀分布在磨痕和对偶球表面,有效阻挡了对偶球和涂层的直接接触,使得涂层显示出最优异的摩擦学性能。涂层的主要磨损机制为氧化磨损和黏着磨损。 展开更多

为了提高304不锈钢的耐磨减摩性能,采用激光熔覆技术在其表面制备了Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层。通过扫描电镜(SEM)、能谱仪(EDS)和X射线衍射仪(XRD)对Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层的微观结构进行表征,并分析了304不锈钢基体与Co-2%Ti_(... 为了提高304不锈钢的耐磨减摩性能,采用激光熔覆技术在其表面制备了Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层。通过扫描电镜(SEM)、能谱仪(EDS)和X射线衍射仪(XRD)对Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层的微观结构进行表征,并分析了304不锈钢基体与Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层在等温摩擦实验(25和600℃)中不同载荷(2、5和8 N)下的摩擦学性能和磨损机理。结果表明:Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层主要由γ-Co固溶体,硬质相Fe_(2)C、Cr_(7)C_(3)和TiC及润滑相Ti_(3)SiC_(2)组成。Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层的平均显微硬度为358.61 HV0.5,约是304不锈钢基体(239.32 HV0.5)的1.5倍。在等温摩擦实验中,Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层的磨损率均随着载荷的增加而减少,而摩擦系数在室温下随载荷的增加先增大后减小,在高温(600℃)下随载荷的增加而减小。在不同温度及载荷下,Co-2%Ti_(3)SiC_(2)复合涂层的磨损机理略有不同。 展开更多
