In order to obtain structures with fine, dense and deep nano-size features by cast molding, it is necessary to study the forming mechanism in the process. In this paper, based on major steps of cast molding, filling models of liquid are established and solved; and the forming mechanism of liquid is revealed. Moreover, the scale effect between the liquid and the cavity on the filling velocity of liquid is studied. It is also interesting to find out that the wettability of liquid on the cavity may be changed from wetting to dewetting depends on the pressure difference. Finally, we experimentally verify some of our modeling results on the flowing and filling state of the liquid during the cast molding process.展开更多

In this method, by dividing large deformation of the part into inner and outer pressure forming deformations, the limit deformation of tube part can be increased by several times. Meanwhile, the principle of viscous inner and outer pressure forming was provided, and key problems during the forming process such as reduction of the wall-thickness and instability wrinkling were analyzed. Thereby, the complex curved surface super-alloy GH3044 thin-walled tube with varying diameter ratio of 1.35(the ratio between the maximum and minimum diameters of the part) can be integrally formed by this method. The experimental surface of the formed part is superior in quality and the wall-thickness distribution is uniform. The results show that the viscous inner and outer pressure forming can provide a new approach for integral forming of thin-walled tubes with complex shapes.展开更多

L. method) was established to simulate roll forming process of channel section with outer edge. The deformation characteristics of strip was analyzed, and the three-dimensional displacement field, strain field and stress field of deformed strip were got. The calculation example proves that the peak transverse pressing membrane strain is on the corner part of the deformed strip, and the peak longitudinal stretching strain is on the outer edge part of the deformed strip in front of rolls. In addition, the transverse deformation of the deformed strip is principal, and the longitudinal deformation is small.展开更多

Each element of the information set is called the information value which is a product of the information source value and its membership function value. The Hanman filter that modifies the information set is derived by using a filtering function. Adaptive Hanman-Anirban entropy is formulated and its properties are given. It paves the way for higher form of information sets called Hanman transforms that evaluate the information source based on the information obtained on it. Based on the information set six features, Effective Gaussian Information source value (EGI), Total Effective Gaussian Information (TEGI), Energy Feature (EF), Sigmoid Feature (SF), Hanman transform (HT) and Hanman Filter (HF) features are derived. The performance of the new features is evaluated on CASIA-IRIS-V3-Lamp database using both Inner Product Classifier (IPC) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). To tackle the problem of partially occluded eyes, majority voting method is applied on the iris strips and this enables better performance than that obtained when only a single iris strip is used.展开更多

More and more distinctive villages are losing their historical background and regional architectural culture in modern society. Taking the renovation planning of Wenchang village as a case study, its function structure and land use are determined by the theory of "three layers of HSR(high-speed rail) station" after deep mining its history and culture.
