A Brief Discussion on the Construction of Practical Teaching System for the Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources and Development Major

China’s traditional medicine,science,and technology industry has great development potential.However,there is a problem of insufficient practitioners in the current industrial development.At the same time,the capabilities of existing practitioners do not match the demand standards.Therefore,it is necessary to actively promote the education of resources and development in Central Asia.As an institution for cultivating talents,colleges and universities must establish a practical teaching system for cultivating talents.Based on the requirements put forward by China in education,this article studies the development status of the traditional Chinese medicine resources and development major,determines the talent training goals,starts from the practical teaching aspect,and locates the industry’s requirements for the capabilities of personnel in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.It also puts forward the overall idea of the construction of the practical teaching system,summarizes the reform content of the practical teaching system,and lastly provides the specific path of the reform.

Research Progress of the Wild Medicinal Plant,Pinellia ternata

Based on literature reviews and analysis of research reports on Pinellia ternata found locally and abroad in recent years,this article summarizes and arranges them.The research on Pinellia ternata mainly focuses on its cultivation,tissue culture,and so on.There are only a few research on its active components and its regulation mechanism.The wild resources of Pinellia ternata are gradually decreasing,hence it is urgent to take effective measures to protect these wild resources as well as to establish germplasm resources bank and nursery.In order to meet the needs of the domestic market,it is necessary to investigate the distribution of wild Pinellia ternata resources,explore the best growing environment and conditions,artificially cultivate Pinellia ternata,as well as implement resource industrialization,sustainable development,and utilization.

From institutional merger integration to institutional strategic transformation:A case study of the strategic management paradigm at Shanghai Library

This article attempts to apply the strategic management theory to the subsequent shaping up of a readjusted strategic development policy for Shanghai Library after its merger with the Institute of Scientific and Technological Information of Shanghai(ISTIS)in 1995.It also tries to analyze and explicate such an empirical implementation of institutional reintegration process through strategic management at Shanghai Metropolitan Library.By doing so,it aims to present an objective case study of activities based on the strategic management paradigm at a major Chinese metropolitan public library.

Community spaces in the minds of traditional craftsmen in a pottery villase in Japan

At present, the planning for the conservation or development of Japanese traditional crafts is based on administrative districts or water catchment areas. However, the conservation of Japanese traditions relies not only on the access to relevant natural resources but also on artisans＇ ability to manufacture crafts in specific environments. The perspectives of artisans on their work environments have a significant influence on traditional crafts. In this study, we aimed to investigate the changes in natural resource use in a vilage recognized for Koishiwara-yaki-style pottery. We employed a questionnaire and conducted interview surveys to collect data on the perceptions of the artisans working in the said viliage. The findings were as follows. 1 ） The area commonly resarded by the artisans as their place for pottery was identified. The identification of areas that are significant to local tradition can serve as a vital contribution to spatial planning. 2） The birth place of the local ceramics tradition in a local water catchment area was regarded as critically important in the preservation of the traditions of the viilage. 3） Several potters emphasized the value of their work environment to ver administrative support because of the histoHcal connection between the place and their traditions. Highlighting this connection can attract historical and cultural tourism to this area.

Classical Imitation, Cultural Identity, and Creative Transformation- Contrast in the Writing Strategies of Scarlet Bird, Paper Hawk, and the “Jiangnan Trilogy”

Scarlet Bird and Paper Hawk by Ge Liang have inherited the style of novel of society which began with The Plum in the Golden Vase,carefully depicting scenes of daily life and exuding the great charm of antiquity.This coincides with the trend in contemporary Chinese literature toward using local resources and seeking cultural identity after the 1990s.However,while the neo-classical texts of Ge Liang are quite realistic in appearance,their inner vitality and spirit cannot be easily replicated.In contrast,the“Jiangnan Trilogy”by Ge Fei is far less imitative of classical novels than the novels of Ge Liang,but the pursuit of utopia is used throughout the trilogy to connect the main storylines of the destinies of four generations of the Lu family and is closely related to China's grand history over the past century.While drawing on ancient Chinese cultural resources,Ge Fei injects brand new and heterogeneous elements into1 hisworks,reviving traditional lyrical styles and creating a new“Chinese poetics.”
