Based on topographical information of each grid cell e...A grid and Green-Ampt based (Grid-GA)distributed hydrologic physical model was developed for flood simulation and forecasting in semi-humid and semi-arid basin. Based on topographical information of each grid cell extracted fi'om the digital elevation model (DEM) and Green-Ampt infiltration method, the Grid-GA model takes into consideration the redistribution of water content, and consists of vegetation and root interception, evapotranspiration, runoff generation via the excess infiltration mechanism, runoff concentration, and flow routing. The downslope redis- tribution of soil moisture is explicitly calculated on a grid basis, and water exchange among grids within runoff routing along the river drainage networks is taken into consideration. The proposed model and Xin'anjiang model were ap- plied to the upper Lushi basin in the Luohe River, a tributary of the Yellow River, with an area of 4 716 km2 for flood simulation. Results show that both models perform well in flood simulation and can be used for flood forecasting in semi-humid and semi-arid region.展开更多

Two new integrated processes, gas-energy-management (GEM)—electrochemical catalytic oxidation (ECO)—membrane bioreactor (MBR) and ultrafiltration (UF)—ECO—MBR, in industrial-scale test for treating cold-ro...Two new integrated processes, gas-energy-management (GEM)—electrochemical catalytic oxidation (ECO)—membrane bioreactor (MBR) and ultrafiltration (UF)—ECO—MBR, in industrial-scale test for treating cold-rolling mill emulsion wastewater with water quantity of 200 L/h to 3000 L/h were studied. The former was put forward firstly and the latter was applied initially in this field. The operation conditions and mechanisms of each module in the integrated processes were analyzed and the influences of operational parameters of two processes on chemical oxygen demand (CODCr) removal efficiency were comparatively investigated. The test results showed that the ultimate water quality from the two processes after treatment could meet the requirement for reuse.However, the quality of effluent treated by GEM—ECO—MBR was more stable than that of UF—ECO—MBR.展开更多
Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)represents a therapeutic option in normogonadotropic patients with idiopathic oligozoospermia.The aim of this review was to evaluate the possible dose-and drug-dependent efficacy of FS...Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)represents a therapeutic option in normogonadotropic patients with idiopathic oligozoospermia.The aim of this review was to evaluate the possible dose-and drug-dependent efficacy of FSH treatment on conventional sperm parameters.We performed a comprehensive systematic review via a meta-analysis of all available randomized controlled trials,in which FSH administration was compared with placebo or no treatment when administered to normogonadotropic patients with idiopathic oligozoospermia.Of the 971 articles that were retrieved,5 were fin ally included,in eluding a total of 372 patie nts and 294 controls.Overall,FSH treatment was effective in ameliorating the sperm concentration,total count,progressive motility,but not normal forms.On the basis of the weekly dosage,the studies were classified into those using low(175-262.5 IU per week),intermediate(350-525 IU per week),and high(700-1050 IU per week)doses.At low doses,FSH improved only sperm motility.At intermediate doses,FSH ameliorated sperm concentration and morphology.Total sperm count and progressive motility showed a trend toward the increase.At high doses,FSH increased sperm concentration,total sperm count,and progressive motility.Sperm morphology showed a trend toward the increase.Finally,both highly purified FSH(hpFSH)and recombinant human FSH(rhFSH)improved sperm concentration,total sperm count,progressive motility,but not morphology.No different efficacy was observed between these two preparations.This meta-analysis provides evidence in favor of high FSH doses.The FSH efficacy was not related to the preparation type(recombinant vs highly purified).Further studies are needed to evaluate the effectiveness of Iong-standing treatment regimes.展开更多
