提出了基于TRICHOTOMY模型的可视化建模系统的测试方法,该方法主要改进了原有测试方法中对整个建模系统分析的单方面性。通过TRICHOTOMY模型的构造将原有的测试方法转换为进行模型检查、系统功能测试和支持建模的功能测试三个方面的综合测试,继而在这三方面测试的基础上给出系统的整体评价。同时,在该模型的基础上提出了基于模型的软件测试过程。

EXPONENTIAL TRICHOTOMY AND ROUGHNESS

In this paper we obtain a sufficient and necessary condition for a linear system to have exponential trichotomy and obtain that if a linear system has exponential trichotomy with trichotomy constants α and β, then the roughness of it is .

The Constructivist Real Number System

The paper summarizes the contributions of the three philosophies of mathematics—logicism, intuitionism-constructivism (constructivism for short) and formalism and their rectification—which constitute the new foundations of mathematics. The critique of the traditional foundations of mathematics reveals a number of errors including inconsistency (contradiction or paradox) and undefined and vacuous concepts which fall under ambiguity. Critique of the real and complex number systems reveals similar defects all of which are responsible not only for the unsolved long standing problems of foundations but also of traditional mathematics such as the 379-year-old Fermat’s last theorem (FLT) and 274-year-old Goldbach’s conjecture. These two problems require rectification of these defects before they can be resolved. One of the major defects is the inconsistency of the field axioms of the real number system with the construction of a counterexample to the trichotomy axiom that proved it and the real number system false and at the same time not linearly ordered. Indeed, the rectification yields the new foundations of mathematics, constructivist real number system and complex vector plane the last mathematical space being the rectification of the complex real number system. FLT is resolved by a counterexample that proves it false and the Goldbach’s conjecture has been proved both in the constructivist real number system and the new real number system. The latter gives to two mathematical structures or tools—generalized integral and generalized physical fractal. The rectification of foundations yields the resolution of problem 1 and the solution of problem 6 of Hilbert’s 23 problems.

BIFURCATIONS TO A HETEROCLINIC MANIFOLD WITH NONHYPERBOLIC EQUILIBRIA IN R^n

The authors study bifurcations from a heteroclinic manifold connecting two non-hyperbolic equilibrium P-0 and P-1 for a n-dimensional dynamical system. They show that under some assumptions, each equilibrium P-i splits into two equilibria <(P)over tilde (i)> and P-i(alpha), i = 0, 1, and find the Melnikov vector conditions assuring the existence of a heteroclinic orbit from P-1(alpha) to P-0(alpha) along directions that are tangent to the strong unstable (resp.strong stable) manifold of P-1(alpha) (resp.P-0(alpha)). The exponential trichotomy and the unified and geometrical method are used to prove their results.

Semiotics Turning Cross-Cultural

Semiotics,mostly as a theory of meaning,has a long history both in China and in the West.Although there had been little interaction between these two independent traditions before the 20th century,we can fi nd some interesting similarities and differences in their semiotic thoughts that continue to influence how we conceptualize things today.Contemporary China,for example,is widely seen as being characterized by a Marxist epistemology which was imported from the West,but a close examination shows that this dominant theory of knowledge is as much a product of its own native tradition of ontological realism propounded by Ouyang Jian 17 centuries ago.With the advent of globalization of semiotics in the 20th century,Chinese and Western scholars are now able to take direct advantage of each other’s theoretical resources which often result in new insights critical to the advancement of human knowledge.Two examples of such East-West interaction are Peirce’s trichotomy of signs being appropriated for the classification of Chinese characters and Qian Zhongshu’s"sides-andhandles theory of metaphor"serving as a critique of the bewildered and bewildering cognitive science championed by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson.It is in this sense that semiotics is becoming increasingly global or cross-cultural on top of its interdisciplinary trademark.

Existence of Pseudo-Almost Automorphic Solutions for Nonlinear Differential Equations

In this paper, we discuss the existence of pseudo-almost automorphic solutions to linear differential equation which has an exponential trichotomy~ and the results also hold for some nonlinear equations with the form x＇（t） = f（t,x（t）） ＋ λg（t,x（t））, where f,g are pseudo-almost automorphic functions. We prove our main result by the application of Leray-Schauder fixed point theorem.

A Semiotic Reading of Nicholas Jose's Avenue of Eternal Peace

Nicholas Jose has been advocating "transcultural writing" for more than three decades, with Avenue of Eternal Peace(1989) as an early part of his practice. In 1990, Avenue was short-listed for the Miles Franklin Prize but failed to win this Australian national award. Judged by Chinese semiotician Zhao Yiheng's reception model of narratives, this is a "message blocked" case. Using the framework of Roman Jakobson's communication model, this paper reinterprets the six constitutive factors and functions to investigate the elements that blocked the message. My main argument is that "contact", "context", and "code" jointly blocked the communication; the three Cs reflect three long-standing problems in Australian literature: the issue of cultural identity, the dark side of White Australian Dream, and the Orientalist representation of "the other" culture. The failure in literary communication analyzed also suggests that Wally's perception of China follows a Saussurean dichotomy which presupposes a closed linguistic system and excludes the role of the subject and the extra-semiotic object in signification. The Peircean trichotomy better captures the process of concept formation and is a better approach to transcultural writing in the contemporary postmodern situation. Transcultural writing challenges its readers; we need to transcend our confined nationality and persistent prejudice, and develop adequate "transnational literacy" to appreciate this new form of cultural production.
