The obtained crack tip stress has a finite value. It is proposed that the long-range cohesive force between the two crack surfaces must be considered in the nonlocal stress boundary conditions. A surface energy definition possessing more definite physical meaning is given. The surface energy, theoretical strength, fracture criterion, and curvature radius of the crack tip are obtained. A scheme for solving nonlocal mixed boundary-value problem with the classical displacement field is suggested.展开更多
