荷兰代尔夫特理工大学Urban Design工作坊教学模式对我国城市设计课程教学的启示

荷兰代尔夫特理工大学的Urban Design工作坊小组教学模式,为我国城市设计教育提供了创新路径。该模式强化学生跨学科思维与问题解决能力,通过项目实践培育评审、模拟、谈判、决策及冲突管理等技能,教师角色转变为引导者和促进者,激励创新并深化团队协作与沟通。针对我国城市设计教育现状,建议加强综合能力的培养,促进理论教学与设计实践的深度结合,并构建均衡的课程评估框架。此模式的本土化将有力推动我国城市设计教育的创新与发展。

The Comprehensive and Integrating Design of Subway Visual Communication and Urban Culture

The subway has become an dominant form for public transportation in all the great metropolis. It not only saves energy and time ,but also relieves stress caused by the dense commuting. As a high-effi cient travel mode in modern city, the metro can not only relieve the ground traffi c pressure, but also represents the culture and value of the city, which is the essence of our life. Metro visual communication design of developed countries in the world is almost closely related to the origin of urban culture, then the metro culture with local specialties has been formed. Therefore, comparative research on the situation of metro visual communication design both can induce the integration and regeneration of urban metro visual communication design and urban culture of China, as well as the formation and development of the metro culture.

SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATION SYSTEMS AS GUIDELINES FOR EARLY-PHASE URBAN DESIGN PROCESSES

The German Sustainable Building Council(Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen or DGNB)has one of the most comprehensive sustainability certification systems for urban districts(UD).Their explicit aim is that the system should impact the very earliest design decisions.The Technical University of Denmark has tested the DGNB-UD system in two experimental design projects for similar locations to find out how it can be used in the early-phase design process.This paper describes these two independent design processes,compares them and discusses their general features.We found that DGNB-UD addresses a broad sustainable focus and can be used as a tool for setting sustainability goals from the very first design steps.The system tends to promote multifunctional compromise solutions that meet several criteria at the same time.Using the DGNB-UD certification system in the early design phases therefore does have some effect on the urban design in terms of a bias towards certain design traits.

Analysis of Spatial Configuration of Wenshufang in Chengdu City from the Perspective of Urban Design

Figure-ground theory,linkage theory and place theory of Roger Trancik were applied,field investigation,photo-taking and inductive analysis combined to analyze spatial configuration of urban historic blocks,physical environment,wills of people and also interaction between human behavior and environment in Wenshufang,Chengdu City of Sichuan Province.The results showed that on the basis of a clear bidimensional virtual-real structure,"linear parameters" and "dynamic structures" of spatial connection were established for Wenshufang,environment elements and humanistic needs of the place were respected,connection vitality of lane and yard spaces maintained.In this way,Wenshufang successfully inherited Buddhist cultures and folk cultures,providing a useful reference for the protection and research on historic blocks in other cities.

“Data Hegemony”: Reflections for the Application and Development Direction of Metaverse Technology in Urban Design based on Digital

This paper is based on the phenomenon of Tittytainment and big data control.It discusses the ways in which working youths live and work in their large suburban communities in Beijing as well as their leisure and entertainment activities.Then develops a problem statement and research questions.In addition,the project explores this reality phenomenon dialectically through the analysis and speculation of the new virtual reality technology“Metaverse.”Based on a critical design approach,the phenomenon is explored through a detailed description and examination of reality,before critically suggesting the possibility of future social control by big data companies through the“metaverse”space.Furthermore,this paper alerts to the neoliberalism that dominates globalization through anti-utopian expressions,waking up young people who are compromised by big data control and addicted to Tittytainment.

Shanghai "Maker" Urban Culture Construction in the Context of Big Cloud Movement

Shanghai should orient its development to becoming a global science and technology innovation center. Now,it plans to launch a strategic research of new round of development in 2050,carry out future urban planning research in 2040,and started start the implementation of thirteenth five-year development planning research. In this process,it is required to fully consider the impact of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform,include the construction of global innovation center into the layout of the future development of Shanghai,formulate global scientific and technological innovation center development strategy,and further make clear the leading and support function of scientific and technological innovation to economic and social development of Shanghai. This paper analyzed the relationship between Big Cloud Movement and " Maker",and the necessities for cultivating " Maker" urban culture to building Shanghai global scientific and technological innovation center. On this basis,it elaborated and analyzed how to integrate the Maker Culture into Shanghai urban culture. Finally,it came up with recommendations for establishing Shanghai " Maker" urban culture.

Application of 3D Digital Technology in Urban Design:A Case Study of Wuhan City

To achieve standardization and facilitation of urban design and 3D demonstration of construction program,and provide technological support for urban design and approval of construction program,this project integrates planning control elements,builds 3D urban design platform and explores functions of the platform on the basis of existing 3D information base.The platform will improve the efficiency of planning management department's controlling over urban spaces and buildings,further play the role of planning department in supporting the urban construction decision making,and also promote the overall city image and quality of urban spaces.

Global Urban Design Research from 2007 to 2017: A Systematic Research Review

Urban design research in the last decade was reported by conducting a bibliometric analysis of the literature published worldwide between 2007 and 2017. The exploratory study aimed to show the origins and frontiers for researchers. The document co-occurrence analysis of keywords and co-citation analysis of references were made in CiteS pace III to explore research basements and research trajectories, emerging trends and new development, together with Bibexcel tools. Physical activities and thermal comfort are two main topics of urban design research that are indirectly connected in some way, and sociological and computer-based research is likely to be strengthened.

Megalopolis:Analyze Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region based on Urban Design Since 1945

This paper introduces the definition,the features,and advantages of megalopolis according to the book called Urban Design Since 1945,and compares the definition,features,advantages and problems of the megalopolis mentioned in the book with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH)urban region.Although megalopolis solves different urban problems for regions,it still faces different problems.In the future,urban planners should pay attention to the sustainable development of urban ecology and make rational use of various resources.

Urban Space Reshaping Based on Regional Urban Design:A Case Study of Urban Design of Taiping Bay Wharf Area in Yantai City

In the process of rapid development of urbanization and constant adjustment of urban space,urban characteristics are faced with many challenges.Taking Taiping Bay wharf area of Yantai City as an example,the paper sorts out the spatial construction problems from the aspects of historical development,urban texture and cultural characteristics by exploring the research process and methods of regional urban design,and put forward optimization strategies from the perspectives of urban structure optimization,street image design,industrial building transformation and cultural space establishment based on the characteristic resources of the area,thus providing experiences for future regional urban design.

Study on the Relationship between Shanghai Sand Junk Culture and Shanghai Urban Culture

From material,spiritual,institutional and behavioral aspects,Shanghai sand junk culture and Shanghai urban culture were studied,and the relationship between the two was analyzed.It is found that there are similarities and individualities between Shanghai sand junk culture and Shanghai urban culture,and the two are closely compatible.

A Case Study on Optimization of Urban Design Base on Wind Environment Simulation

Wind environment simulation of a commercial district in Baise city of Guangxi Province, China, is carried out in the design phase. The results are analyzed and based on the evaluation standard for greening building of China. The simulation method is discussed in detail, and some suggestions for wind environment optimization are put forward, which might be helpful for similar research.

Geoctenologies Applied to Evolution in Urban Design in a City in Southern Brazil

The evolution process of urban design is the result of transformations due to population increase along the expansion of cities on a global scale.Geotechnologies applied to forms of mapping make it possible to understand the changes that have occurred in urban spaces in relation to temporal space.The general objective of this study is to analyze the change that occurred from the year 2010 to 2021,in the evolution of urban design,in the city of Marau(southern Brazil).The identification of urban evolution in the years 2010 and 2021 was carried out.These data were modeled using the QGIS software,in the SIRGAS(Geocentric Reference System for the Americas)database,related to the evolution of urban design in Marau.The results demonstrate the need to apply geotechnologies not only in the city of Marau,but in other cities worldwide,because city halls need precision maps,avoiding the fragmentation of the urban fabric,a result of population expansion not projected in the built environment.

Assessing Flexible Places for Adaptive Urban Design:A New Method and the Case of Cittaducale

Each place has its own peculiarities,determining that the resilience and adaptation to diverse types of risks will be different,requiring different time and methods for mitigation as well.The coexistence of several risks determines further resolution difficulties as commonly,since risks are sudden and unforeseen,there is a tendency to treat the last risk more carefully,neglecting the previous one even if it is just as important.Most of the methodologies used to analyse areas affected by different risks are aimed at focusing in particular on seismic risks without considering those relating to intangible aspects linked to the identity of the places or aspects related to urban health and liveability.And,more in general,in relation to design aspects,urban methodologies do not consider all the results of the analyses,maybe for the difficulty deriving from translating the complexity of collected data in project interventions.Starting from these premises,the objective of the article,elaborated within the SISMI and PRIN 2020 research projects is to propose an original methodology capable of analysing the places affected by multiple risks and planning its resilience attentive to its cultural resources and to its liveability.To this end,the proposed method will be aimed at creating flexible and adaptive places and the case-study of Cittaducale will be illustrated.Criticalities and qualities of this place affected by an earthquake in 2016 will be reported and project interventions to transform its risks into opportunities will be shown.

Enlightenment from Urban Design Teaching in Blekinge Institute of Technology for Landscape Architecture Education in China

Emphasis on and popularization of education has pushed Sweden,an economically developed country in north Europe,to the rapid urbanization,and the country is also known as a modern welfare society with social liberalism and pursuit of equity. Against this background,higher education in Sweden has its own special properties. Urban design education in Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlskrona,south Sweden,was taken for example,and its successful experience in specialized courses,contents and teaching modes was analyzed,and its signifi cant referential value for the current landscape architecture education in China was proposed.

Aiming at the problems cased by the fast increase of industry and popula-tion in China,the paper cxpounds the conceptual connotation of urban dcsign and theinteraction between urban form and design,sums up the“top-down”and“bottom-up”urban design approaches in history,and points out that subject of urban design——as anavailable approach to cope with the problems of building cities——should be put forwardin China as quickly as possible.

On the Practices of Regulatory Urban Design

On the basis of reviewing urban design and management practices of Honggutan New District in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, regulatory urban design was proposed and its major feature was summarized as "the local government or urban management agency responsible for the organization and compiling". After defining regulatory urban design, its compiling and technical means were studied.

Study on Urban Design of Luohu Railway Station Area from the Perspective of Integrated Urban Design

Traffic hub in modern cities has gradually evolved into a multi-functional, all-around and three-dimensional complex. Based on the integrated thinking and relevant urban design theories, this paper took Shenzhen Luohu Railway Station for example, evaluated the status quo of the study area from the perspectives of spatial form and public space, including traffic space, square, walking space, green space and waterfront system, and put forward corresponding suggestions.
