The electronic spectra of new dyes in a DMF solvent were carried out by time dependent density functional theory(TD-DFT) method. After quantum-chemical calculations two new dyes for the optoelectronic applications were synthesized. FT-IR spectra of the title compounds are recorded and discussed. NucleusIndependent Chemical Shifts(NICS) calculations have also been carried out for the title compounds. The computed absorption spectral data of the title compounds are in good agreement with the experimental data, thus allowing an assignment of the UV spectra. The HOMO and LUMO molecular orbitals, excitation energies and oscillator strengths for the dyes have also been calculated and presented.展开更多

Rocky desertification has become a major environmental issue in the karst region of southwestern China.Karst rocky desertification was more severe in regions of limestone soil than in adjacent regions of other soils,d...Rocky desertification has become a major environmental issue in the karst region of southwestern China.Karst rocky desertification was more severe in regions of limestone soil than in adjacent regions of other soils,despite the relatively higher soil organic matter(SOM)content in limestone soil.The underlying mechanism remains ambiguous.We speculated that the geochemical characteristics of limestone soils in the karst region plays an essential role,especially the high calcium content of limestone soil.To test this hypothesis,we collected limestone soil samples from a limestone soil profile in the southwestern China karst region and extracted humic acid(HA)from these limestone soil samples.We investigated the interaction of Ca^(2+)and three HA samples on a joint experimental platform,which consists of an automatic potentiometric titrator,a UV–visible spectrometer,and a Fluorescence spectrometer.HA solutions were titrated by Ca^(2+)and optical spectra of the HA solutions were monitored during the titration experiments.The results indicated that:(1)the interaction of Ca^(2+)and HA is a combined process of adsorption and complexation.Adsorption dominated the overall distribution behavior of Ca^(2+),which could be fit by Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models.Complexation was distinguished only when the concentration of Ca2+is low;(2)the changes of UV–visible spectroscopy and excitation–emission matrix fluorescencespectroscopy spectra of HA samples when they were binding with Ca^(2+)implied the apparent molecular size and structure of HA became larger and more complex;(3)the combination of Ca^(2+)and HA plays an important role in the SOM preservation of limestone soils but the stability of the Ca–HA association was relatively weak.The present study draws attention to maintaining the relatively higher Ca^(2+)concentration in limestone soils in ecologic restoration attempts in karst regions.展开更多

The experimental results show that the polaron band of the species was shifted to ...The doping reaction of polyaniline with camphor sulfonic acid (CSAH) in different organic solvents was studied by UV Vis spectroscopy. The experimental results show that the polaron band of the species was shifted to shorter wavelength when polyaniline was doped with CSAH in N methyl 2 pyrrolidione (NMP) solvent, while the red shift of polaron band was observed when it was in N, N dimethylformamide (DMF). It indicates that the influence of different processing solvents on the doping property of polyaniline is greatly different. N methyl 2 pyrrolidione is a good solvent for polyaniline, polyaniline chain is unfolded in it. The interaction of NMP with CSAH is so strong that the resulting product is apt to dedoping, while the solubility of polyaniline in DMF is relatively low and polyaniline chain is in partly folded state. Thus the doping reaction is kinetically disadvantageous but thermodynamically advantageous.展开更多
We introduce a novel method using a new generative model that automatically learns effective representations of the target and background appearance to detect,segment and track each instance in a video sequence.Differ...We introduce a novel method using a new generative model that automatically learns effective representations of the target and background appearance to detect,segment and track each instance in a video sequence.Differently from current discriminative tracking-by-detection solutions,our proposed hierarchical structural embedding learning can predict more highquality masks with accurate boundary details over spatio-temporal space via the normalizing flows.We formulate the instance inference procedure as a hierarchical spatio-temporal embedded learning across time and space.Given the video clip,our method first coarsely locates pixels belonging to a particular instance with Gaussian distribution and then builds a novel mixing distribution to promote the instance boundary by fusing hierarchical appearance embedding information in a coarse-to-fine manner.For the mixing distribution,we utilize a factorization condition normalized flow fashion to estimate the distribution parameters to improve the segmentation performance.Comprehensive qualitative,quantitative,and ablation experiments are performed on three representative video instance segmentation benchmarks(i.e.,YouTube-VIS19,YouTube-VIS21,and OVIS)and the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated.More impressively,the superior performance of our model on an unsupervised video object segmentation dataset(i.e.,DAVIS19)proves its generalizability.Our algorithm implementations are publicly available at https://github.com/zyqin19/HEVis.展开更多

In the present work,a new combination of Raman and ultraviolet and visible(UV/Vis)absorption spectroelectrochemistry in reflection mode is proposed.The new experimental setup allows obtaining the two kinds of spectros...In the present work,a new combination of Raman and ultraviolet and visible(UV/Vis)absorption spectroelectrochemistry in reflection mode is proposed.The new experimental setup allows obtaining the two kinds of spectroscopic data without interferences concomitantly with the electrochemical information.To the best of our knowledge,it is the first time to report the simultaneous obtention of electrochemical,electronic,and vibrational information in the same experiment.This new combination provides time-resolved information about the processes that are taking place on the electrode/solution interface which has significant implications in different fields of chemistry,such as modification of electrodes,studies of electrocatalytic reaction mechanisms,development of sensors,among others.Two different systems were used to demonstrate the advantages and capabilities of the brand-new technique,namely,the oxidation of potassium ferrocyanide,an out-sphere system that is usually employed in the validation of SEC techniques,and the electrochemical-surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy(EC-SERS)detection of crystal violet by in-situ formation of the silver SERS substrate,where the UV/Vis spectra were used to follow the formation of the SERS substrate,whereas the Raman response of a probe molecule was used to confirm either the formation of a nanostructured surface and to obtain the fingerprint of the molecule with a high time resolution.The brand-new experimental setup has shown to be useful,versatile,robust,compact,and easy to use for future applications.展开更多
Variable selection is applied widely for visible-near infrared(Vis-NIR)spectroscopy analysis of internal quality in fruits.Different spectral variable selection methods were compared for online quantitative analysis o...Variable selection is applied widely for visible-near infrared(Vis-NIR)spectroscopy analysis of internal quality in fruits.Different spectral variable selection methods were compared for online quantitative analysis of soluble solids content(SSC)in navel oranges.Moving window partial least squares(MW-PLS),Monte Carlo uninformative variables elimination(MC-UVE)and wavelet transform(WT)combined with the MC-UVE method were used to select the spectral variables and develop the calibration models of online analysis of SSC in navel oranges.The performances of these methods were compared for modeling the Vis NIR data sets of navel orange samples.Results show that the WT-MC-UVE methods gave better calibration models with the higher correlation cofficient(r)of 0.89 and lower root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)of 0.54 at 5 fruits per second.It concluded that Vis NIR spectroscopy coupled with WT-MC-UVE may be a fast and efective tool for online quantitative analysis of SSC in navel oranges.展开更多

文摘In the present work,a new combination of Raman and ultraviolet and visible(UV/Vis)absorption spectroelectrochemistry in reflection mode is proposed.The new experimental setup allows obtaining the two kinds of spectroscopic data without interferences concomitantly with the electrochemical information.To the best of our knowledge,it is the first time to report the simultaneous obtention of electrochemical,electronic,and vibrational information in the same experiment.This new combination provides time-resolved information about the processes that are taking place on the electrode/solution interface which has significant implications in different fields of chemistry,such as modification of electrodes,studies of electrocatalytic reaction mechanisms,development of sensors,among others.Two different systems were used to demonstrate the advantages and capabilities of the brand-new technique,namely,the oxidation of potassium ferrocyanide,an out-sphere system that is usually employed in the validation of SEC techniques,and the electrochemical-surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy(EC-SERS)detection of crystal violet by in-situ formation of the silver SERS substrate,where the UV/Vis spectra were used to follow the formation of the SERS substrate,whereas the Raman response of a probe molecule was used to confirm either the formation of a nanostructured surface and to obtain the fingerprint of the molecule with a high time resolution.The brand-new experimental setup has shown to be useful,versatile,robust,compact,and easy to use for future applications.

文摘Variable selection is applied widely for visible-near infrared(Vis-NIR)spectroscopy analysis of internal quality in fruits.Different spectral variable selection methods were compared for online quantitative analysis of soluble solids content(SSC)in navel oranges.Moving window partial least squares(MW-PLS),Monte Carlo uninformative variables elimination(MC-UVE)and wavelet transform(WT)combined with the MC-UVE method were used to select the spectral variables and develop the calibration models of online analysis of SSC in navel oranges.The performances of these methods were compared for modeling the Vis NIR data sets of navel orange samples.Results show that the WT-MC-UVE methods gave better calibration models with the higher correlation cofficient(r)of 0.89 and lower root mean square error of prediction(RMSEP)of 0.54 at 5 fruits per second.It concluded that Vis NIR spectroscopy coupled with WT-MC-UVE may be a fast and efective tool for online quantitative analysis of SSC in navel oranges.
文摘In this paper, the kind of remanent small molecules in unsaturated polyester res(?) (UP resin) , the best extractant and the best suitalbe extractive time for measuring the content of these small molecules were studied using ultraviolet- visible spectrophotometry ( UV-VIS method). According to the principle of additivity lightness absorption for mixid solution, the contents of samll molecules in several kinds of cured UP resin were measured. It is pointed out that the UV-VIS method in the assay quality of food grade GRP products is more suitable to China.
