BACKGROUND Glycated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)is considered the most suitable for diabetes mellitus diagnosis due to its accuracy and convenience.However,the effect of HbA1c on diabetic retinopathy(DR)in the Han and Korean...BACKGROUND Glycated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)is considered the most suitable for diabetes mellitus diagnosis due to its accuracy and convenience.However,the effect of HbA1c on diabetic retinopathy(DR)in the Han and Korean populations in Jilin,China,remains inconclusive.AIM To determine the best cut-off of HbA1c for diagnosing DR among the Chinese.METHODS This cross-sectional study included 1933 participants from the Yanbian area of Jilin Province,China.Trained investigators employed a questionnaire-based survey,physical examination,laboratory tests,and fundus photography for the investigation.The best cut-off value for HbA1c was established via the receiver operating characteristic curve.The factors associated with HbA1c-associated risk factors were determined via linear regression.RESULTS The analysis included 887 eligible Chinese Han and Korean participants,591 of whom were assigned randomly to the training set and 296 to the validation set.The prevalence of DR was 3.27% in the total population.HbA1c of 6.2% was the best cut-off value in the training set,while it was 5.9% in the validation set.In both Chinese Han and Korean populations,an HbA1c level of 6.2% was the best cut-off value.The optimal cut-off values of fasting blood glucose(FBG)≥7 mmol/L and<7 mmol/L were 8.1% and 6.2% respectively in Han populations,while those in Korean populations were 6.9%and 5.3%,respectively.Age,body mass index,and FBG were determined as the risk factors impacting HbA1c levels.CONCLUSION HbA1c may serve as a useful diagnostic indicator for DR.An HbA1c level of 6.2% may be an appropriate cut-off value for DR detection in the Chinese population.展开更多

It is the result of multiple effects of innate (endogenous) and exogenous etiological factors with different degre...Hallux valgus is a relatively common and multifaceted complex deformity of the front part of the foot. It is the result of multiple effects of innate (endogenous) and exogenous etiological factors with different degrees of influence. The degree of hallux valgus deformity is usually assessed by radiological values of hallux valgus (HV) and intermetatarsal (IM) angles. The aim of the paper is to justify the definition of hallux valgus deformity as a function of one angle, (HVA or IMA), and then to determine the functional connection and the most suitable function equalizing the values of the angles IMA and HVA. As hallux valgus is a double angulation deformity, the analytically determined connection between the HVA and IMA angles reduces the study of the deformity to the study of function with one argument, and makes the analysis of deformity changes before and after operative treatment simpler. For the determined connections between the angles, the values of linear proportionality coefficients and regression coefficients of corresponding linear functions of analytical equalization of the value of the IM angle and the degree of deformity for a given value of the HV angle were experimentally determined. The obtained results were checked on a sample of 396 operatively treated hallux valgus deformities. The presented analytical approach and the obtained functional links of IMA and HVA enable quantitative observation of the change in the degree of deformity based on the radiologically determined value of these angles, and the established nonlinear function will be useful for evaluating the expected value of the IM angle and the degree of deformity based only on the measured value of the HV angle. .展开更多
By examining the current status of tourism and transport research both domestically and internationally,and analyzing the development trends of Chongqing’s tourism and transport industry,this study evaluates the weig...By examining the current status of tourism and transport research both domestically and internationally,and analyzing the development trends of Chongqing’s tourism and transport industry,this study evaluates the weight indices and performs a coupling and coordination analysis of various indicators of Chongqing’s tourism and transport industry from 2011 to 2019.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The value of the comprehensive evaluation function for tourism is higher than that of the transport industry,indicating that Chongqing’s tourism industry is in a period of vigorous development;(2)The degree of coupling coordination development between Chongqing’s tourism and transportation industries from 2011 to 2019 is rising.As the coupling coordination stage continues to improve,the level of coupling coordination also improves,with the overall trend showing a progression from mild dysfunction to primary coordination.Based on these conclusions,corresponding countermeasures are proposed to promote the coupling coordination between tourism and transport in Chongqing,and suggestions are made for the overall improvement of the transport industry and the sustainable development of the tourism industry.展开更多

The used residual two-body interactions consist of central, tensor, spin orbit and quadratic spin orbit terms with Gaussian radial dependence. The parameters of these interactions are so chosen in such a way that they represent the long-range attraction and the short-range repulsion of the nucleon-nucleon interactions. These parameters are so chosen to reproduce good agreement between the calculated values of the binding energy, the root mean-square radius, the D-state probability, the magnetic dipole moment and the electric quadrupole moment of the deuteron nucleus. The variation method is then used to calculate the binding energy of triton by varying the oscillator parameter which exists in the nuclear wave function. The obtained nuclear wave functions are then used to calculate the root mean-square radius and the magnetic dipole moment of the triton.展开更多

We establish in this paper different Lipschitz-type continuity results about the optimal value function and optimal solutions of mixed-integer parametric quadratic programs with parameters in the linear part of the objective function and in the right-hand sides of the linear constraints. The obtained results extend some existing results for continuous quadratic programs, and, more importantly, lay the foundation for further theoretical study and corresponding algorithm analysis on mixed-integer quadratic programs.展开更多

It is shown that a random variable shape parameter strategy can improve the accuracy of approximating higher order derivatives with Radial Basis Function methods. The method is used to solve fourth order boundary value problems. The use and location of ghost points are examined in order to enforce the extra boundary conditions that are necessary to make a fourth-order problem well posed. The use of ghost points versus solving an overdetermined linear system via least squares is studied. For a general fourth-order boundary value problem, the recommended approach is to either use one of two novel sets of ghost centers introduced here or else to use a least squares approach. When using either ghost centers or least squares, the random variable shape parameter strategy results in significantly better accuracy than when a constant shape parameter is used.展开更多

The kinetic theory is employed to analyze influence of agent competence and psychological factors on investment decision-making.We assume that the wealth held by agents in the financial market is non-negative,and agen...The kinetic theory is employed to analyze influence of agent competence and psychological factors on investment decision-making.We assume that the wealth held by agents in the financial market is non-negative,and agents set their own investment strategies.The herding behavior is considered when analyzing the impact of an agent's psychological factors on investment decision-making.A nonlinear Boltzmann model containing herding behavior,agent competence and irrational behavior is employed to investigate investment decision-making.To characterize the agent's irrational behavior,we utilize a value function which includes current and ideal-investment decisions to describe the agent's irrational behavior.Employing the asymptotic procedure,we obtain the Fokker-Planck equation from the Boltzmann equation.Numerical results and the stationary solution of the obtained Fokker-Planck equation illustrate how herding behavior,agent competence,psychological factors,and irrational behavior affect investment decision-making,i.e.,herding behavior has both advantages and disadvantages for investment decision-making,and the agent's competence to invest helps the agent to increase income and to reduce loss.展开更多

文摘The kinetic theory is employed to analyze influence of agent competence and psychological factors on investment decision-making.We assume that the wealth held by agents in the financial market is non-negative,and agents set their own investment strategies.The herding behavior is considered when analyzing the impact of an agent's psychological factors on investment decision-making.A nonlinear Boltzmann model containing herding behavior,agent competence and irrational behavior is employed to investigate investment decision-making.To characterize the agent's irrational behavior,we utilize a value function which includes current and ideal-investment decisions to describe the agent's irrational behavior.Employing the asymptotic procedure,we obtain the Fokker-Planck equation from the Boltzmann equation.Numerical results and the stationary solution of the obtained Fokker-Planck equation illustrate how herding behavior,agent competence,psychological factors,and irrational behavior affect investment decision-making,i.e.,herding behavior has both advantages and disadvantages for investment decision-making,and the agent's competence to invest helps the agent to increase income and to reduce loss.

文摘k holomorphic functions are a type of generation of holomorphic functions.In this paper,a nonlinear boundary value problem for k holomorphic functions is primarily discussed on generalized polycylinders in C^(2).The existence of the solution for the problem is studied in detail with the help of the boundary properties of Cauchy type singular integral operators with a k holomorphic kernel.Furthermore,the integral representation for the solution is obtained.
文摘Oats is a kind of food which has all sorts of nutrition.This paper mainly discussed nutritional ingredients and function of health protection of oats,simply introduced the use of it's functional ingredients,for developing natural resources rationally and efficiently.Oats are very nourishing.The oats may reduce the cholesterol of the body and to reduce the blood glucose because of its rich protein,fat,soluble diet fiber and saponin.It was very significance to study the improving of the food flavor,utilizing all the parts of the oats,and processing the functional foods.

文摘Let F be a family of holomorphic functions in a domain D, k be a positive integer, a, b(≠0), c(≠0) and d be finite complex numbers. If, for each f∈F, all zeros of f-d have multiplicity at least k, f^(k) = a whenever f=0, and f=c whenever f^(k) = b, then F is normal in D. This result extends the well-known normality criterion of Miranda and improves some results due to Chen-Fang, Pang and Xu. Some examples are provided to show that our result is sharp.
