The reference faulty matrix and the calculation model of grey correlation degree was established based on three kinds of information entropy. The analysis shows that grey correlation analysis is a useful method for fault diagnosis of shafting and can be used as a quantitative index for fault diagnosis.展开更多

Next, the characteristics of the stator winding parallel branches circulating current are analyzed, which are that the second harmonics circulating current will increase when the rotor winding inter-turn short circuit fault occurs, and the fundamental circulating current will increase when the air-gap eccentricity fault occurs, neither being strongly affected by the imbalance fault. Considering the differences of the rotor vibration and circulating current characteristics caused by different rotor faults, a method of generator vibration fault diagnosis, based on rotor vibration and circulating current characteristics, is developed. Finally, the rotor vibration and circulating current of a type SDF-9 generator is measured in the laboratory to verify the theoretical analysis presented above.展开更多

With the static balance characteristic of the screen body/surface as well as the deformation compatibility relation of springs considered, static model of the screen surface under a certain load was established to calculate compression deformation of each spring. Accuracy of the model was validated by both an experiment based on the suspended mass method and the properties of the 3D deformation space in a numerical simulation. Furthermore, by adopting the Taylor formula and the control variate method, quantitative relationship between the change of damping spring deformation and the change of spring stiffness, defined as the deformation sensitive coefficient(DSC), was derived mathematically, from which principle of the TSMM for spring fault diagnosis is clarified. In the end, an experiment was carried out and results show that the TSMM is applicable for diagnosing the fault of single spring in a LVS.展开更多

Through the experimental and theoretical analysis, it has been confirmed that the fault unit was caused by the high water pressure in the head-cover chamber. This type of the fault is out-of-the-way. After the suitable measure wags against the fault were taken, the No. 1 unit can stably operate. The conclusions and the methodology are of the certain reference value to the fault-diagnosis of the hydroelectric unit.展开更多
