Microstructure and interracial reactions of Al2O3 joints brazed with Al2O3-particulate-contained composite Ag-Cu-Ti filler material were researched by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron probe microscopy analysis (EPMA), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The interracial reaction layer thickness of joints brazed with conventional active filler metal and active composite filler materials with different volume fraction of Al2O3 particulate was also studied. The experimental results indicated although there were Al2O3 particulates added into active filler metals, the time dependence of interracial layer growth of joints brazed with active composite filler material is t^1/2 as described by Fickian law as the joints brazed with conventional active filler metal. 展开更多

以Na_(2)CO_(3)·10H_(2)O(SCD)、Na_(2)HPO_(4)·12H_(2)O(DHPD)为相变主体制备了共晶体系,通过绘制凝固点变化图与DSC测试共同确定在m(SCD)∶m(DHPD)=4∶6时形成共晶,FTIR和XRD结果显示,2种水合盐间没有发生化学反应,但其晶... 以Na_(2)CO_(3)·10H_(2)O(SCD)、Na_(2)HPO_(4)·12H_(2)O(DHPD)为相变主体制备了共晶体系,通过绘制凝固点变化图与DSC测试共同确定在m(SCD)∶m(DHPD)=4∶6时形成共晶,FTIR和XRD结果显示,2种水合盐间没有发生化学反应,但其晶型结构发生改变。通过添加质量分数为2%的Na2SiO3·9H_(2)O作为成核剂降低体系的过冷度,且经历50次相变循环体系未出现相分离,相变焓值仅下降0.25%。进一步使用质量分数为25%的气相SiO_(2)作为支撑材料,采用浸渍法制备了相变前后形状稳定的共晶水合盐/SiO_(2)定形相变材料(SSPCM)。所得SSPCM的相变温度为24.08℃,相变焓值为146.6J/g,过冷度为0.55℃,热导率为0.4571W/(m·K)。同保温泡沫相比,其可将模拟房内部中心温度的升温时间延长了1.81倍,降温时间延长了0.39倍。 展开更多

The results show that b... ZA22/Al2O3 composites were prepared by means of squeeze casting process. The effects of Ce on the ultimate tensile strength (UTS), impact toughness, and hardness of the composites were studied. The results show that both the UTS and the hardness are improved and the impact toughness is decreased with the increase of the volume fraction of fibers (Vf). After Ce is added ,UTS (Vf>15%) and the hardness are improved at room temperature because of the modification of Ce, but the impact toughness and UTS at elevated temperature are lowered.The filtered action of the fiber preform results in that the influence of the amount of Ce added from 0. 1 wt% to 0. 5 wt% on the mechanical properties of the composites can be ignored. 展开更多

It was found that the above catalysts have good catalytic hydrogenation activity for carbon - carbon double bonds systems and reusability. Furthermore, XPS and IR spectra shouted that active component in the composite catalysts is atomic Pd(0). An addition of a small amount of Fe2O3 has a promotive action upon hydrogenation activity of the catalysts, which indicated that there are some strong interactions (electron transfer) between Pd(0) and Fe(Ⅲ) species. Based on these results, a possible catalytic hydrogenation mechanism was also suggested. 展开更多

TiO2/(O' + β')-Sialon multiphase ceramics were prepared with nano TiO2 (anatase) powder and (O' + β')-Sialon powder as raw materials. Effect of Yb2O3 additive on transformation behavior of anatase for TiO2/(O' + β')-Sialon multi phase ceramic was investigated and its influence mechanism was discussed. XRD was employed for the analysis of phase composition and lattice parameters. The results show that even though Yb2O3 has no obvious influence on starting temperature of phase transformation, it significantly accelerates the transformation process, which displays a weakened effect with more Yb2O3 addition. There exist two forms of the added Yb2O3 : some enters TiO2 lattice and the other deposits on the surface of TiO2. The function of Yb2O3 on phase transformation of anatase can be attributed to the coaction of active and negative influence mechanisms as follows: some Yb^n+ enter TiO2 lattice and replace Ti^4+ , as well as the redox reaction between Yb^3+ and TiO2, which promote the transformation, whereas other Yb2O3 deposits on the surface of TiO2, and Ti- O-Yb bond is formed by the coaction of Yb^3+ and TiO2, which inhibit the process. 展开更多

以Na_(2)O-B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)系低温玻璃为基础结合剂烧制金刚石增强陶瓷基复合材料,利用扫描电子显微镜、X射线能谱、X射线光电子能谱、拉曼光谱及力学性能测试仪等对其界面结合强度、界面处元素分布及界面化学键进行了... 以Na_(2)O-B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)系低温玻璃为基础结合剂烧制金刚石增强陶瓷基复合材料,利用扫描电子显微镜、X射线能谱、X射线光电子能谱、拉曼光谱及力学性能测试仪等对其界面结合强度、界面处元素分布及界面化学键进行了表征。结果表明,Na_(2)O-B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)系陶瓷结合剂与金刚石颗粒界面结合强度高,790℃煅烧时试样抗折强度达到77.82 MPa。Si、B、Na、Zn各元素在界面位置发生扩散,而Al元素没有明显扩散,元素扩散提升了结合剂对金刚石的把持力。陶瓷结合剂与金刚石在界面处形成C-O、C=O和C-B键,化学成键进一步增进界面结合。另外,790℃煅烧的复合材料中金刚石颗粒保存完好,而850℃煅烧时金刚石出现石墨化迹象。 展开更多

Development of non-shrinkable ceramic composites for use in high-power microwave tubes

Al_2O_3–CaO–SiC-based ceramic composites with four different compositions were sintered at 1700℃ for 3 h in an air furnace. The phase analysis, microstructural characterization, and elemental composition determination of the developed composites were performed by X-ray diffraction(XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray(EDAX) analysis, respectively. The shrinkage, thermal properties, and electrical resistivity of the composites were also studied. The experimental results showed the effects of adding silicon carbide and calcia to alumina on the thermal, electrical, and shrinkage properties of the resultant composites. Among the four investigated ceramic composites, the one composed of 99 wt% alumina, 0.5 wt% CaO, and 0.5 wt% SiC exhibited the best characteristics for use as a potting material in a dispenser cathode of a microwave tube. The material exhibited slight expansion instead of shrinkage during drying or firing. Other properties of the composite powder, such as its thermal properties and electrical resistivity, were comparable to those of a commercial alumina powder. 展开更多

Relationship between K2O-Al2O3-SiO2 system dental glass ceramics and Al2O3 ceramics was investigated. 4 groups of glass ceramic with the same components but different thickness(0.8, 1.2, 1.6, and 2.0 mm) were sintered on Al2O3 base ceramics according to the same thermal treatment system of leucite micro-crystallization reported in previous literatures. The products of each group were analyzed by polarizing microscope, X-ray diffractometer, and an INSTRON material testing machine. Under the thermal treatment system, leucite crystals were formed in samples of each group, and dispersed evenly. Meanwhile, the compressive strengths of group 3 and group 4 were higher than those of group 1 and group 2. Samples of group 3 showed better mechanical properties than others. The conclusions are drawn that Leucite crystals can be controlled in K2O-Al2O3-SiO2 system glass ceramic-Al2O3 ceramic composite material, and the thickness of glass ceramic has a notable influence on the compressive strength of this ceramic composite material. 展开更多

The heterojunction effect can effectively improve the separation efficiency of the photocatalyst’s photo-generated electron and hole pairs,thereby greatly improving the photocatalytic hydrogen production performance of the photocatalyst.In this paper,Bi_(6)O_(6)(OH)_(3)(NO_(3))_(3)·1.5H_(2)O(BBN)and ZnO are used to construct and synthesize Bi_(6)O_(6)(OH)_(3)(NO_(3))_(3)·1.5H_(2)O/ZnO(BBN/ZnO)heterojunction photocatalyst.Under UV-vis light irradiation,the BBN/ZnO composite could generate H_(2)with a rate of 28.66μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),which is higher than pure BBN(0.92μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1))and ZnO(6.54μmol·h^(−1)·g^(−1))at around 31.1 and 4.4 times,respectively.Moreover,the experimental results found that the composite still exhibits excellent photocatalytic activity and maintains a high and stable activity in the 12-hour experiment with 3 cycles.The possible mechanism to enhance the photocatalytic behavior is attributed to the expanded light absorption range,reduced surface migration resistance,and inhibited recombination of photo-generated electron and hole pairs. 展开更多

W-2 wt.%Y2O3 composite material with uniform distribution of yttrium element was fabricated through processes of mechanical alloying (MA) and spark plasma sintering (SPS). The relevant productions were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The XRD showed that the W-2 wt.%Y2O3 composite powder, including tungsten matrix and Y2O3 particles, was refined to nanometer sizes during the MA process. The SEM and TEM micrographs showed that the MA produced composite powder presented a lamellar morphology and contained many dislocations and microcracks. The EDS showed that the Y and O elements were uniformly distributed in the W matrix after mechanically alloying for 15 h. The W-2 wt.%Y2O3 composite material with uniform distribution of yttrium was obtained by sintering of the MA produced composite powder. 展开更多

可充电水系锌离子电池是一种环保且电化学性能优异的二次电池,但锰基正极材料在充放电过程中结构易坍塌、导电率低、稳定性差等缺点严重制约了水系锌离子电池的发展。笔者首先阐述了锰基正极材料中锌离子的储存机理,主要有Zn^(2+)嵌入/... 可充电水系锌离子电池是一种环保且电化学性能优异的二次电池,但锰基正极材料在充放电过程中结构易坍塌、导电率低、稳定性差等缺点严重制约了水系锌离子电池的发展。笔者首先阐述了锰基正极材料中锌离子的储存机理,主要有Zn^(2+)嵌入/脱出机理、H+/Zn^(2+)共嵌入/脱出机理和化学转化反应机理。Zn^(2+)嵌入/脱出机理包括无相变反应和新相生成反应。而新相生成反应又分为可逆相变和不可逆相变。然后,基于锰基正极材料面临的问题,讨论了改善其储锌性能的主要方法。目前可采用的方法包括缺陷工程、与导电材料复合、离子掺杂、表面修饰技术等。用以上方法改进后的锰基正极材料表现出了更加优异的性能。 展开更多

Since Cu-Al powder characteristics have important effects on the preparation of Cu/Al2O3 composite, the apparent activation energy of Al internal oxidation reaction in Cu-Al pre-alloyed powders with different characteristics was calculated in the present investigation. The microstructure and properties of the synthesized Cu/Al2O3 were studied. The results show that high-energy milling can obviously promote internal oxidation of Al in Cu-Al powders in the same solid solubility. At the same milling conditions and internal oxidation parameters, the solid solution of Al in Cu either in low or high amount will result in the poor microstructure and properties of the Cu/Al2O3 composite. Subsequently, when high-energy milling and internal oxidation are synchronously used to prepare the Cu/Al2O3 composite, there should be an appropriate solubility and milling effect for the pre-alloyed powders. 展开更多

Low thermal conductivity, matched thermal expansion coefficient and good compatibility are general requirements for the environmental/thermal barrier coatings(EBCs/TBCs) and interphases for Al2O3 f/Al2O3 composites. In this work, a novel high-entropy(HE) rare-earth phosphate monazite ceramic (La0.2Ce0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2)PO4 is designed and successfully synthesized. This new type of HE rare-earth phosphate monazite exhibits good chemical compatibility with Al2O3, without reaction with Al2O3 as high as 1600℃ in air. Moreover, the thermal expansion coefficient(TEC) of HE (La0.2Ce0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2)PO4(8.9 × 10^-6/℃ at 300–1000℃) is close to that of Al2O3. The thermal conductivity of HE (La0.2Ce0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2)PO4 at room temperature is as low as 2.08 W·m^-1·K^-1, which is about 42% lower than that of La PO4. Good chemical compatibility, close TEC to that of Al2O3, and low thermal conductivity indicate that HE (La0.2Ce0.2Nd0.2Sm0.2Eu0.2)PO4 is suitable as a candidate EBC/TBC material and an interphase for Al2O3 f/Al2O3 composites. 展开更多

我国青海盐湖镁资源的利用率低,带来严重的资源浪费和环境污染,若将镁盐开发为相变储热材料,则可扩大其应用领域,从而促进镁盐资源的充分利用。针对中低温保温隔热的应用需求,在前期工作基础上,选用MgCl_(2)·6H_(2)O-Mg(NO_(3))_(2... 我国青海盐湖镁资源的利用率低,带来严重的资源浪费和环境污染,若将镁盐开发为相变储热材料,则可扩大其应用领域,从而促进镁盐资源的充分利用。针对中低温保温隔热的应用需求,在前期工作基础上,选用MgCl_(2)·6H_(2)O-Mg(NO_(3))_(2)·6H_(2)O(MCH-MNH)质量比为41∶59的共晶盐作为相变材料,为降低其过冷度并提高隔热性能,选用多孔介质石墨相氮化碳(g-C_(3)N_(4),CN)作为支撑材料,制备低热导率的MCH-MNH/CN复合相变材料。先将尿素在550℃高温下煅烧得到多孔的CN,再采用吸附法制备出MCH-MNH/CN复合相变材料,并对复合相变材料的形貌、结构与热性能进行了表征和测量。结果表明,共晶盐相变材料均匀地吸附在CN的微孔结构内,其与CN的复合是一个物理过程,没有发生化学反应;复合相变材料的相变温度为55.2℃,相变焓值为92.7 J/g,几乎没有过冷度,其热导率为0.3 W/(m·K),仅是共晶盐MCH-MNH的一半,提高了隔热性能。此外,复合相变材料还具有良好的热稳定性,在中低温保温隔热领域具有应用前景。 展开更多
