随着国内Internet网络需求的增加,一些类似IPAD的新型无线终端随之出现,各大运营商为了抢占市场,纷纷引入WLAN,但由于局限于WLAN频段带来的重叠覆盖干扰及WLAN重复建设的成本问题,导致在一些酒店、公寓等场所无法达到预期覆盖效果。为此...随着国内Internet网络需求的增加,一些类似IPAD的新型无线终端随之出现,各大运营商为了抢占市场,纷纷引入WLAN,但由于局限于WLAN频段带来的重叠覆盖干扰及WLAN重复建设的成本问题,导致在一些酒店、公寓等场所无法达到预期覆盖效果。为此,本文总结了目前市场上新兴的一种WLAN覆盖方式,即基于有线电视系统承载无线局域网络(WLAN over CATV,WOC)技术的原理、可行性及测试应用情况,分析该覆盖方式的优缺点可知WOC在建设难度及网络建设后的应用感知度较传统WLAN有明显提升,鉴于此,以期本文对未来的WLAN建设提供一种新的思路。展开更多
