Its scanning resolution and scanning period... The optical wavelet filter is designed. It can filter and choose frequency swiftly. It can realize demodulation of distributed fiber Bragg grating(FBG) measurement system. Its scanning resolution and scanning period depend on wavelet function. Wavelet function is controlled by computer. Compared to conventional scan filter, optical wavelet filtering has some advantages such as simple structure, high scan frequency, high resolution and good linearity. At last, the error of optical wavelet filter scanning procedure is analyzed. Scanning step length refers to the shifting of optical wavelet window's central frequency. It affects system precision directly. If scanning step length is different, the measured signal is different. The methods of reducing step length guarantee scanning periodic time are presented. 展开更多

In order to preferably identify infrared image of refuge chamber, reduce image noises of refuge chamber and retain more image details, we propose the method of combining two-dimensional discrete wavelet transform and bilateral denoising. First, the wavelet transform is adopted to decompose the image of refuge chamber, of which low frequency component remains unchanged. Then, three high-frequency components are treated by bilateral filtering, and the image is reconstructed. The result shows that the combination of bilateral filtering and wavelet transform for image denoising can better retain the details which are included in the image, while providing better visual effect. This is superior to using either bilateral filtering or wavelet transform alone. It is useful for perfecting emergency refuge system of coal mines. 展开更多

Based on low illumination and a large number of mixed noises contained in coal mine, denoising with one method usually cannot achieve good results, so a multi-level image denoising method based on wavelet correlation relevant inter-scale is presented. Firstly, we used directional median filter to effectively reduce impulse noise in the spatial domain, which is the main cause of noise in mine. Secondly, we used a Wiener filtration method to mainly reduce the Gaussian noise, and then finally used a multi-wavelet transform to minimize the remaining noise of low-light images in the transform domain. This multi-level image noise reduction method combines spatial and transform domain denoising to enhance benefits, and effectively reduce impulse noise and Gaussian noise in a coal mine, while retaining good detailed image characteristics of the underground for improving quality of images with mixing noise and effective low-light environment. 展开更多

Noise is the biggest obstacle that makes the incipient fault diagnosis results of roller bearings uncorrected; a new method for diagnosing incipient fault of roller bearings based on the Wavelet Transform Correlation Filter and Hilbert Transform was proposed. First, the weak fault information features are picked up from the roller bearings fault vibration signals by use of a de-noising characteristic of the Wavelet Transform Correlation Filter as the preprocessing of the Hilbert Envelope Analysis. Then, in order to get fault features frequency, de-noised wavelet coefficients of high scales which represent high frequency signal were analyzed by Hilbert Envelope Spectrum Analysis. The simulation signals and diagnosing examples analysis results reveal that the proposed method is more effective than the method of direct wavelet coefficients-Hilbert Transform in de-noising and clarifying roller bearing incipient fault. 展开更多

This structure aimed at high precision applications. A precision improved distributed algorithms (DA) had been proposed. Comparing with traditional DA implementations, the new DA had higher precision while preserves smaller area. The proposed structure was verified in Spartan-6 field programmable gate array (FPGA) and achieved 200 MHz operation frequency. The peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) of reconstructed image (Lena) achieves 74 dB which is very high comparing with other implementations. 展开更多

Focusing on the low-precision attitude of a current small unmanned aerial rotorcraft at the landing stage, the present paper proposes a new attitude control method for the GPS-denied scenario based on the monocular vision. Primarily, a robust landmark detection technique is developed which leverages the well-documented merits of supporting vector machines(SVMs)to enable landmark detection. Then an algorithm of nonlinear optimization based on Newton iteration method for the attitude and position of camera is put forward to reduce the projection error and get an optimized solution. By introducing the wavelet analysis into the adaptive Kalman filter, the high frequency noise of vision is filtered out successfully. At last, automatic landing tests are performed to verify the method s feasibility and effectiveness. 展开更多

In the mechanical fault detection and diagnosis field, it is more and more important to analyze the instantaneous frequency (IF) character of complex vibration signal. The improved IF estimation method is put forward aiming at the shortage of traditional Hilbert transform. It is based on Hilbert transform in wavelet domain. With the help of relationship between the real part and the imaginary part obtained from the complex coefficient of continuous wavelet transform or the analyti- cal signal reconstructed in wavelet packet decomposition, the instantaneous phase function of the subcomponent is extracted. In order to improve the precise of IF estimated out, some means such as Linear regression, adaptive filtering, resampling are applied into the instantaneous phase obtained, then, the central differencing operator is used to get desired IF. Simulation results with synthetic and gearbox fault signals are included to illustrate the proposed method. 展开更多

It is seriously interfered by ship noise when analyzing and extracting broadband spark sound source signal. In the energy concentrated domain which is below 5 kHz, the traditional scale correlation filtering algorithm, which is based on adjacent-scale correlation, has limited anti-interference ability due to the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and similar Lipschitz exponent characteristic of each other. However, because different frequency bands of the broadband electric spark signal have different noise interferences, the filtering algorithm based on adjacent-scale correlation is adapted to high SNR and small-scale high-frequency wavelet coefficients filtering; the filtering algorithm based on cross-scale correlation is adapted to low SNR and large-scale low-frequency wavelet coefficients filtering, and the threshold coefficient selection method had been corrected in the algorithm. It is shown that the filtering algorithm has a good filtering effect and extracts the broadband spark sound source signal effectively; it is applicable to broadband underwater acoustic signM processing in the presence of narrow-band strong interference background noise. 展开更多

A new digital modulation recognition algorithm based on the instantaneous information is proposed to improve the recognition success rate in the low signal noise ratio (SNR). First denoising of the instantaneous information is optimized by wavelet filter, which can improve the recognition ability at low SNR. Besides the existing 3 key feature parameters, 3 new key feature parameters are proposed to be used as the decision criteria for identifying different types of digital modulation, which simplifies the recognition process and improves the recognition ability at low SNR. The simulations demonstrate that all modulation types of interest have been classified with success rate of no lower than 99 % when SNR is 10dB. Even if the SNR is lower than 5 dB, the success rate is over 95.4% for most of the modulation types. 展开更多
