Besides the cross sections of roadways and the tendency and obliquity of roadway axes, the major controlling factors affecting the height of a collapsing roof include the weak lithological structure of surrounding rocks. This thesis analyzes the effect of two single and weak lithological structures of both sides and the roof on the height of a collapsing roof in a deep soft rock road- way. Using the two-dimensional UDEC3.1 software, a numerical structures of both sides of a roadway and of two weak lithological simulation was carried out on the models of weak lithological structures of roof of different depths. We reconstruct the overall processes from a break-away layer, bending, subsidence and the cracking of a collapsing roof. We also illustrate the distribution characteristics of displacement fields in the surrounding rock after the roof collapse in a deep soft rock roadway. The results of our numerical simulations indicate that the form of a roof collapse is side-expanding when the roadway is a weak structure at both sides The height of the roof collapse is related to the lithological combination of the roof when the roadway is a weak structure of the roof. 展开更多

According to the structural characteristics of gently inclined thin layer rock mass in which lots of weak interlayer existed,the concept of gently inclined thin layer weakness structure was proposed.If single-borehole measuring method of the acoustic along the conventional arrangement mode was used in measuring the broken rock zone in this structure,the change of the relationship curves (Vp-L) between acoustic p-wave velocity (Vp) and borehole depth (L) would present the irregular feature due to the mechanical characteristics of layered rock mass and harmful effects of weak interlayers,and the scope of broken rock zone couldn't be defined quickly.Based on the analysis of the me- chanical characteristics of layered rock mass,the propagation rule of acoustic and distri- butions characteristics of plastic zone and slip zone in layered rock mass,new arrange- ment mode of acoustic measuring boreholes for broken rock zone in gently inclined thin layer weakness structure was proposed.Namely,the measuring boreholes in two sides were parallel to the strata,the measuring boreholes in the roof and floor perpendicular to the strata.Besides the controlling depth of the measuring boreholes in the scope of the large plastic zones or the large slip zones should be increased.Engineering example showed that new acoustic measuring boreholes arrangement mode had the better appli- cability and could determine the scope of the broken rock zone in the gently inclined thin layer weakness structure quickly. 展开更多

The use of symbol attributes on the side of symbolic social networks to analyze,understand,and predict the topology,function,and dynamic behaviour of complex networks,and has important theoretical significance for personalized recommendations,attitude prediction,user feature analysis,and clustering and application value.However,due to the huge scale of online social networks,this poses a challenge to traditional symbolic social network analysis methods.Based on the theory of structural equilibrium,this paper studies the evolutionary dynamics of symbolic social networks,proposes the energy function of weak structural equilibrium theory,and uses the evolution of evolutionary algorithms to obtain the weak imbalance of the network.The simulation experiment results show that the calculation method in this paper can get the optimal solution faster.It provides an idea for the study of real and complex social networks. 展开更多

The stability of rock slopes is in general concerned with set of discontinuities. However, in soft rocks, failure can occur along surfaces approaching to a circular failure surface. To better understand the position of potential sliding surface, a new method called simplex-finite stochastic tracking method is proposed. This method basically divides sliding surface into two parts: one is described by smooth curve obtained by random searching, the other one is po|yline formed by the weak structural surface. Single or multiple sliding surfaces can be considered, and consequently several types of combined sliding surfaces can be simu- lated. The paper will adopt the arc-polyline to simulate potential sliding surface and analyze the searching process of sliding surface. Accordingly, software for slope stability analysis using this method was developed and applied in real cases. The results show that, using simplex-finite stochastic tracking method, it is possible to locate the position of a potential sliding surface in the slope. 展开更多

The symbolic network adds the emotional information of the relationship,that is,the“+”and“-”information of the edge,which greatly enhances the modeling ability and has wide application in many fields.Weak unbalance is an important indicator to measure the network tension.This paper starts from the weak structural equilibrium theorem,and integrates the work of predecessors,and proposes the weak unbalanced algorithm EAWSB based on evolutionary algorithm.Experiments on the large symbolic networks Epinions,Slashdot and WikiElections show the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.In EAWSB,this paper proposes a compression-based indirect representation method,which effectively reduces the size of the genotype space,thus making the algorithm search more complete and easier to get better solutions. 展开更多

This paper puts forward using high-pressure water jet technology to control rock burst in roadway, and analyzes the theory of controlling rock burst in roadway by the weak structure zone model. The weak structure zone is formed by using high-pressure water jet to cut the coal wall in a continuous and rotational way. In order to study the influence law of weak structure zone in surrounding rock, this paper numerically analyzed the influence law of weak structure zone, and the disturbance law of coal wall and floor under dynamic and static combined load. The results show that when the distance between high-pressure water jet drillings is 3 m and the diameter of drilling is 300 mm, continuous stress superposition zone can be formed. The weak structure zone can transfer and reduce the concentrated static load in surrounding rock, and then form distressed zone. The longer the high-pressure water jet drilling is, the larger the distressed zone is. The stress change and displacement change of non-distressed zone in coal wall and floor are significantly greater than that of distressed zone under dynamic and static combined load. And it shows that the distressed zone can effectively control rock burst in roadway under dynamic and static combined load. High-pressure water jet technology was applied in the haulage gate of 250203 working face in Yanbei Coal Mine, and had gained good effect. The study conclusions provide theoretical foundation and a new guidance for controlling rock burst in roadway. 展开更多

Aiming at the asymmetric deformation and destruction phenomenon appearing after excavating and supporting the 7101 air return way in Meihe mine, this paper comprehensively adopted a variety of methods to analyze the roadway surrounding rock deformation rule, obtaining the roadway surrounding rock stress and plastic zone distribution rule under no supporting condition and the roadway surrounding rock deformation features under original symmetric supporting condition.Furthermore, this paper revealed the catastrophe mechanism, and proposed the concept of ‘‘weak structure'' and the disaster countermeasure of ‘‘overall stabilizing the roadway and strengthening the support of weak structure''. The industrial test shows that the disaster control technology can realize the coordination deformation of the supporting structure and roadway surrounding rock, thus significantly controlling the deformation of roadway surrounding rock. 展开更多

In the era of big data,high-dimensional data always arrive in streams,making timely and accurate decision necessary.It has become particularly important to rapidly and sequentially identify individuals whose behavior deviates from the norm.Aiming at identifying as many irregular behavioral patterns as possible,the authors develop a large-scale dynamic testing system in the framework of false discovery rate(FDR)control.By fully exploiting the sequential feature of datastreams,the authors propose a screening-assisted procedure that filters streams and then only tests streams that pass the filter at each time point.A data-driven optimal screening threshold is derived,giving the new method an edge over existing methods.Under some mild conditions on the dependence structure of datastreams,the FDR is shown to be strongly controlled and the suggested approach for determining screening thresholds is asymptotically optimal.Simulation studies show that the proposed method is both accurate and powerful,and a real-data example is used for illustrative purpose. 展开更多

At present, high-speed computing capabilities and advanced nonlinear dynamic finite element procedures enable detailed dynamic analysis of cable structures. Although deterministic approaches require considerable analysis time and effort in relation to modeling, running, and data processing, they seem to be the only alternative to obtain high accuracy. Detailed dynamic analysis of cable roof networks is sophisticated and requires advanced modeling expertise. This paper presents a comparison between detailed nonlinear dynamic analysis and a simplified frequency domain approach to estimate the maximum probable response of weakly nonlinear cable roofs. The approach can be considered as alternative to detailed time-domain analysis in the preliminary design phase, or can be used to validate results obtained from more elaborated numerical models. The proposed method is illustrated with two examples of cable net roofs that were also analysed in the time domain. 展开更多
