Application Research and Implementation of the CORBA-Based Web Distributed Network Management System

The distributed management has become an important tendency of development for the NMS (Network Management System) with the development of Internet. Based on the analysis of CORBA (Conmon Object Request Broker Architecture) technique, we mainly discuss about the applicability of the approach by which CORBA combined with Java has been applied to the system model and Web architecture: and address the applied frame and the interface definitions that are the, key technologies for implementing the Distributed Object Computing (DOC). In addition, we also conduct the research on its advantages and disadvantages and further expected improvements. Design and implementation of the system of students information management based on WEB

This paper mainly design B/S system structure and small information management system that often appear some problems of college student information management, combines the actual situation of students and student instructor management work. In the process of the development of the whole system, the main use of Microsoft.NET technology as a whole system of compiler environment, SQL Server 2000 is used in the design of backstage supporter＇ s database, were developed and designed by Visual Studi02005 tool, in exchange for page dynamically selected by the ASP.NET database and system interface between Webpage generation. This system has high reliability, high security, low input, so that the efficiency of information management students to improve.

Estimating Security Risk of Healthcare Web Applications: A Design Perspective

In the recent years,the booming web-based applications have attracted the hackers’community.The security risk of the web-based hospital management system(WBHMS)has been increasing rapidly.In the given context,the main goal of all security professionals and website developers is to maintain security divisions and improve on the user’s confidence and satisfaction.At this point,the different WBHMS tackle different types of security risks.In WBHMS,the security of the patients’medical information is of utmost importance.All in all,there is an inherent security risk of data and assets in the field of the medical industry as a whole.The objective of this study is to estimate the security risk assessment of WBHMS.The risks assessment pertains to securing the integrity of the information in alignment with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.This includes protecting the relevant financial records,as well as the identification,evaluation,and prevention of a data breach.In the past few years,according to the US-based cyber-security firm Fire-eye,6.8 million data thefts have been recorded in the healthcare sector in India.The breach barometer report mentions that in the year 2019,the data breaches found were up to 48.6%as compared to the year 2018.Therefore,it is very important to assess the security risk in WBHMS.In this research,we have followed the hybrid technique fuzzy analytic hierarchy process-technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution(F-AHPTOPSIS)approach to assess the security risk in WBHMS.The place of this empirical database is at the local hospital of Varanasi,U.P.,India.Given the affectability of WBHMS for its board framework,this work has used diverse types of web applications.The outcomes obtained and the procedure used in this assessment would support future researchers and specialists in organizing web applications through advanced support of safety and security.

Clicking through the Clickstream: A Novel Statistical Modeling Approach to Improve Information Usage of Clickstream Data by E-Commerce Entities

Success or failure of an E-commerce platform is often reduced to its ability to maximize the conversion rate of its visitors. This is commonly regarded as the capacity to induce a purchase from a visitor. Visitors possess individual characteristics, histories, and objectives which complicate the choice of what platform features that maximize the conversion rate. Modern web technology has made clickstream data accessible allowing a complete record of a visitor’s actions on a website to be analyzed. What remains poorly constrained is what parts of the clickstream data are meaningful information and what parts are accidental for the problem of platform design. In this research, clickstream data from an online retailer was examined to demonstrate how statistical modeling can improve clickstream information usage. A conceptual model was developed that conjectured relationships between visitor and platform variables, visitors’ platform exit rate, boune rate, and decision to purchase. Several hypotheses on the nature of the clickstream relationships were posited and tested with the models. A discrete choice logit model showed that the content of a website, the history of website use, and the exit rate of pages visited had marginal effects on derived utility for the visitor. Exit rate and bounce rate were modeled as beta distributed random variables. It was found that exit rate and its variability for pages visited were associated with site content, site quality, prior visitor history on the site, and technological preferences of the visitor. Bounce rate was also found to be influenced by the same factors but was in a direction opposite to the registered hypotheses. Most findings supported that clickstream data is amenable to statistical modeling with interpretable and comprehensible models.

A Study on Web Services Management Architecture of Digital Forestry Platform

This paper discussed the function of web service technology in Digital Forestry Platform. The work principle and the system structure of the management mechanism of web service resource were also discussed. The web service management architecture was designed and all the workflow under this architecture was elaborated. As an important component of Digital Forestry Support Platform, web service management has provided essential guarantee for the operation of Digital Forestry Platform.

Database Research： Achievements and Challenges

Database system is the infrastructure of the modern information system. The R＆D in the database system and its technologies is one of the important research topics in the field. The database R＆D in China took off later but it moves along by giant steps. This report presents the achievements Renmin University of China （RUC） has made in the past 25 years and at the same time addresses some of the research projects we, RUC, are currently working on. The National Natural Science Foundation of China supports and initiates most of our research projects and these successfully conducted projects have produced fruitful results.
