This paper introduced the origination of seclusion culture, analyzed historical background, causes, and aesthetic performances of hermit culture, took living style and life attitude of Tao Yuanming for example to summarize the location characteristics of villas under the impact of hermit culture in the Wei and Jin Dynasty. On this basis, site selection of Tianquan Julong International Eco-villa in Longquanyi District, Chengdu City was analyzed, and profound influence of hermit culture on the location aesthetics of modern villa explored.

Application of numerical model in evaluating the effects of a planned reservoir on reach-scale bankfull discharge of the lower Wei River

Predicting the responses of an alluvial channel to changes in flow and sediment supply is essential for engineering design. Many methods have been developed in the last few decades to describe sectional bankfull characteristics(elevation and discharge); however, studies on long-term reach-scale bankfull discharge are still limited. In this study, a hydraulic model is built to calculate the reach-scale bankfull discharge, and the effects of reservoir building on downstream bankfull discharges are discussed. The studied river reach is located at the lower Wei River(WR), where the planned Dongzhuang Reservoir would be built on its largest tributary, the Jing River. A quasi-two-dimensional numerical model coupled with a bankfull discharge estimating method is put forward to calculate the reach-scale bankfull discharge. The soundness of the model is verified. Results show that the temporal variation of reach-scale bankfull discharge of the lower reach of the WR would be highly influenced by the planned reservoir, especially during the first 20 years of operation. The effect of the planned reservoir on bankfull discharge may reach its maximum when the total trapped sediment load reaches approximately 75% of the reservoir capacity. Our results show that after the first 17 years of operation,the effect of the planned reservoir on bankfull discharge of the river reach may decrease gradually.The soundness and predictive capability of the coupled model have also been calibrated by comparing with existing reservoirs. All analyses indicate that the numerical model can be used to predict the changed reach-scale bankfull discharge of the lower WR.

The paper presents an over modification multi grid method of the ship propulsion mechanism of Weis Fogh, and obtains the complex potential integral formula by distributing vortices on the wing. The numerical formula is given on fine grid and coarse grid. The numerical results show that the algorithm is best when over modification factor is 1.5.

A Comparative Study on Two English Versions of "Cai Wei" From the Perspective of Lefevere's Manipulation Theory

"Cai Wei",an ancient Chinese poem from a poetry collection called Shi Jing,has been translated into English by many people,while those English versiom differ.According to Andre Lefevere's Manipulation Theory,the three main factors that manipulate translation are patronage,ideology,arid poetics.This translation theory can be well applied in the analysis and appreciation of English versions of"Cai Wei".The factors that manipulate the two versiom,respectively translated by Xu Yuanchong and Ezra Pound,can be located through detailed analyses and comparison between the chosen versions from the perspective of the Manipulation Theory.More specifically,it is Xu's readers,personal experiences,traditional Chinese philosophy and ideology,as well as the theories of the former Chinese translators that constitute the major manipulating factors that influenced his Chinese-oriented translation;for Pound,his English-oriented translation was affected by his avantgarde readers,Ernest Fenollosa and imagism.

The analytical formula and asymptotic formula of added mass of the cascade Weis Fogh mechanism are obtained by applying the complex mapping method.The numerical results show the added mass of cascade is much greater than the one of the plane hydrofoil.

Numerical evaluation of the effects of the Dongzhuang reservoir on channel deposition in the Lower Wei River in China

Jing River is a tributary of the Wei River which is the largest tributary of the Yellow River. Sediments eroded from the upland of the Jing River basin are one of the major contributors of sediment entering the lower Wei River(LWR). The Dongzhuang reservoir is designed to be constructed on the lower Jing River for flood control and water resources regulation, and this may change the sustainable management of the LWR as changed channel deposition by trapping sediments and releasing concentration-limited flow. Its effects on the LWR, especially the deposition distribution, should be analyzed. The steady quasi-two-dimensional dynamic model was adopted to estimate the deposition processes in the LWR. Then, the qualitative effects of the Dongzhuang reservoir on channel deposition were evaluated and compared with historical data, including capacity loss in other reservoirs and measured deposition in the LWR. Analyses indicated that the annual deposition in the LWR will decrease by approximately two-thirds due to the reservoir’s operation. After 15 years of operation, the effects of the Dongzhuang reservoir on the lower channel will decrease gradually. Moreover, its effects on lateral distribution in different sub-reaches are different. After the reservoir’s operation, the floodplain of the Xianyang–Lintong(XY-LT) sub-reach will change its sediment regime from deposition to erosion. For the Lintong–Huaxian(LT-HX) sub-reach, deposition in the main channel will be more serious during the first 30 years of operation. For the Huaxian–Tongguan (HX-TG) sub-reach, the reservoir will have almost no effects on the lateral distribution. All these analyses may benefit the sustainable management of the Wei River and the Yellow River.

Architectural Culture of Hakka Walled Villages in Gannan: A Case Study of Yanyi Wei

This paper took Yanyi Wei for example to explore the architectural culture of Hakka walled vil ages in Gannan, including clan culture, defense culture, sacrificial culture, and feng shui culture. It pointed out that there exist problems in Yanyi Wei, such as the disharmony between newly established houses and original buildings, the lack of proper maintenance, and the lack of heirs of walled village culture, and proposed reasonable suggestions about architectural conservation and cultural heritage.

Effect of adjuvant therapy of Weisu Granule on Cyclooxygenase-2,E-cadherin, procalcitonin and gastrin in patients with chronic gastritis

Objective: To observe the effects of Weisu Granule combined with triple therapy (esomeprazole, tinidazole and amoxicillin) on gastric mucosal cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and cadherin E (E-cadherin), serum procalcitonin (PCT) and gastrin in patients with chronic gastritis. Methods: A total of 90 patients with chronic gastritis were randomly divided into control group and observation group (n=45) according to the lottery method. Both groups were treated with conventional therapy. On this basis, the control group was treated with triple therapy. The observation group was treated with triple therapy combined with Wei Su granule. The levels of COX-2, E-cadherin, procalcitonin and gastrin in peripheral blood were measured before and after treatment in all subjects. Result: There was no significant difference in the levels of gastric mucosal COX-2 and E-cadherin between the two groups before treatment. After treatment, the levels of COX-2 and E-cadherin in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment. And the observation group was lower than the control group after treatment. There was no significant difference in serum PCT and gastrin levels between the two groups before treatment. After treatment, the levels of PCT and gastrin in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment. And the observation group was lower than the control group after treatment. Conclusion: Wei Su granule combined with triple therapy in the treatment of chronic gastritis, can effectively reduce the levels of COX-2, E-cadherin, PCT and gastrin, relieve the gastric mucosal injury and symptoms, which is a clinically effective treatment.

An Analysis of the Shi Clan Connections in the Wei-Jin and North-South Dynasties Based on the Character Network of Shishuoxinyu

Shishuoxinyu is a collection of anecdotal stories about the words and deeds of Wei and Jin characters. In this paper, we build a complex network with characters in Shishuoxinyu to analyze the scholarly connections in the Wei-Jin and North-South dynasties. The ER random graph, WS small-world network, BA scale-free network, and experimental network are constructed for comparison. The network properties of the experimental network were analyzed using the average degree, average clustering coefficient, and average path length. Degree centrality, mesoscopic centrality, and proximity centrality were selected to understand the importance of the experimental network nodes, and it was found that the king guide had the highest importance in the whole experimental network. Then, through the observation of network degree distribution, this experimental network is considered as a scale-free network with robustness and vulnerability, which is in line with the political characteristics of the Wei-Jin and Northern Dynasties. Finally, ten larger-scale Shi clans are selected to construct a new network for inter-clan linkage analysis. This study helps to uncover the reasons for the rise and fall of the Shi clans during the Wei-Jin and North-South dynasties.

Due to the different versions of Nei Jing have been published in the past,variant of records have shown the different explanation of the original source of Wei Qi,thus there are two popular options are still under debate,Shang Jiao and Xia Jiao.Our research has found that the core reason of above dispute is caused by the vague understanding of the meaning of"Chu".Based on the analysis of relevant text of Nei Jing and the character of Chu with the meaning of leaving,it is concluded that"Wei Qi Chu Shang Jiao".And it means Wei Qi has left Shang Jiao of Zang Fu system and following into Meridian system,according to Wei Qi's connotation of following and protecting.Shang Jiao is the original starting point of Wei Qi in circulation just as it is born.And Shang Jiao is the place where"the slippery and tough Qi of water and grain"has transformed its name into"Wei Qi",which is also the conjunction point that Wei Qi changing from Ti(ontology)into Yong(methodology).And it explains the theory of clinical application based on this view.
