There are 349 species of the Leguminosae, belonging to 44 genera, and the species number accounts for 15.42% of the total species number in the study area. The life form is dominated by mesophyte, and the ecotype is dominated by phanerophyte. Leguminous plants in the study area have relatively complicate floristic elements, stronger temperate nature, including 238 temperate species(68.19% of the total species number). There are 123 north temperate species and varieties, accounting for 35.24% of the total species number, the distribution pattern reflects climatic and geographical distribution of the West Tianshan area. Plants are able to conserve water resources, preserve soil and water, prevent wind and fix sands, adjust regional climate, purify air, maintain ecosystem balance, and build a favorable environment. On this basis, this paper analyzed the means of promoting the protection of plant diversity in the sustainable development of ecotourism.展开更多

The development of laumontitization and its relationship to mineralization show that the laumontitization appeared mainly at the top of and in the periphery of orebodies, and occurred at the edge of the epithermal system or at the late stage of epithermal system evolution. Therefore, laumontitization can be used as an exploration indicator of epithermal gold deposits. The fluids responsible for laumontitization in the Axi gold orefield are similar to those producing hot spring\|type gold deposits or those from modern geothermal fields. Epithermal mineralization of the Axi gold deposit was dated at Carboniferous, indicating that the West Tianshan of China is a region favorable to epithermal\|type gold mineralization and preservation. Hence the West Tianshan of China is a target area for exploring epithermal gold deposits.展开更多

During the development and after the close of the West Tianshan intracontinental rifting in the Carboniferous-Permian period, a series of nonferrous and precious metal mineralizations occurred with the Au-Cu deposits being the most important. Isotopic chronologic study of representative deposits of different types shows that gold-copper mineralization in the West Tianshan intracontinental rift zone mainly happened during the middle-late Hercynian Period, among which the Axi volcanic hydrothermal type gold deposit was formed during the Carboniferous with a fluid inclusion Rb-Sr isochron age of (339 ± 28) Ma; the Qiabukanzhuota quartzolite type gold deposit has a Rb-Sr isochron age of (312 ± 46) Ma; the Tawuerbieke porphyry type gold deposit has a Rb-Sr isochron age of (295 ± 16) Ma; the Jingbulak magmatic liquation Cu-Ni deposit and the Musizaote porphyry type Cu deposit have the forming ages of 300 Ma ± and 250 Ma ±, respectively. Analyses of crustal evolution and metallogenetic geological backgrounds of Au-Cu mineralizations in the studied area shows a close correlation with the rifting.展开更多

The bulk of Cu-Ni ore deposits in East Tianshan, making up a large portion of Ni resources in North Xinjiang, were concentrated in the east of East Tianshan (the Huangshan- Jing'erquan region) (Feng Yanqing, et al., 2017), while no any analogue was discovered in the west of East Tianshan until the Lubei Cu-Ni (Co) ore deposit (90°21'E, 42°10rN) was identified by Xinjiang Geological Survey in 2014. The Lubei Cu-Ni (Co) ore deposit is a medium- to large- sized deposit with Ni and Cu grades in the range 0.2%- 7.76% and 0.2%-2.30%, respectively. This work has initiated the prospection for a large-sized Cu-Ni ore deposit in the west of East Tianshan.展开更多
