Finite element analysis of second order wave radiation by a group of cylinders in the time domain

A finite element based numerical method is employed to analyze the wave radiation by multiple or a group of cylinders in the time domain. The nonlinear free surface and body surface boundary conditions are satisfied based on the perturbation method up to the second order. The first- and second-order velocity potential problems at each time step are solved through a Finite Element Method （FEM）. The matrix equation of the FEM is solved through iteration and the initial solution is obtained from the result at the previous time step. The three-dimensional （3-D） mesh required is generated based on a two-dimensional （2-D） hybrid mesh on a horizontal plane and its extension in the vertical direction. The hybrid mesh is generated by combining an unstructured grid away from cylinders and two structured grids near the cylinder and the artificial boundary. The fluid velocity on the free surface and the cylinder surface are calculated by using a differential method. Results for various configurations including the cases of two cylinders and four cylinders and a group of eighteen cylinders are obtained to show the joint influences of cylinders on the first- and second- order waves and forces, including the effects of spacing ratios and wave frequency on the second order waves and the mean force, in particular.

Evaluate All the Order of Every Element in the Higher Order of Group for Addition and Multiplication Composition

This paper aims at treating a study on the order of every element for addition and multiplication composition in the higher order of groups for different algebraic structures as groups;order of a group and order of element of a group in real numbers. Here we discuss the higher order of groups in different types of order which will give us practical knowledge to see the applications of the addition and multiplication composition. If G is a finite group, n is a positive integer and a ⋴G, then the order of the products na. When G is a finite group, every element must have finite order. However, the converse is false: there are infinite groups where each element has finite order. For example, in the group of all roots of unity in C× each element has finite order. Finally, we find out the order of every element of a group in different types of higher order of group.

Thompson＇s conjecture for alternating group of degree 22

For a finite group G, it is denoted by N（G） the set of conjugacy class sizes of G. In 1980s, J. G. Thompson posed the following conjecture： if L is a finite nonabelian simple group, G is a finite group with trivial center, and N（G） = N（L）, then L and G are isomorphic. In this paper, it is proved that Thompson＇s conjecture is true for the alternating group A22 with connected prime graph.

P-Condense and LP-Condensing Operatorson Semilattices,Join-Complete Lattices and Some Inverse Semigroups

In this paper,the concepts of-condensing operator and 69-condensingoperator on a semigroup are introduced.Then we describe the-condensing operatorsand the 69-condensing operators on semilattices,join-complete lattices,and inversesemigroups.As an application of our results,we also show that the unary operations*:Hg→Hg-1 Hg and*:Hg→HG on the coset semigroupK(G)of a group G are-condensing operators.Consequently,a necessary and sufficient condition for theseoperators to be 69-condensing operators is given.Some further results on condensesemigroups considered by Chen et al.(Acta Math.Hung.119:281-305,2008)arediscussed and obtained in this paper.

CORPORATE GROUPS UNDER ITALIAN LAW:A COMPARATIVE APPROACH AND THE BRAND-NEW"CRISIS CODE"

This paper provides an overview of the evolution of the harmonization process of European law in the field of group of companies,referring to the development of a national "group of companies law" — from the company law reform to the crisis and insolvency code — with the purpose of examining the main aspects of the regulation in force,considering mainly the possible interaction with the rules on the crisis of the groups of companies introduced by the Legislative Decree No.14/2019,and with the aim of analyzing its suitability for being devoted to the prospect of harmonization across countries.
