In addition, the authors implemented a survey and study that included additional categories relating to career maturity. The study was performed on 250 university students, using an anonymous questionnaire that graded responses using criteria to measure a sense of belonging, psychological apathy characteristics, areas of decreased motivation, and career maturity. The subjects were classified by the school year to which they belonged, their gender, and whether or not they had a boyfriend/girlfriend, and consideration was given to the relationship between psychological apathy, decreased motivation, career maturity and a sense of belonging. In terms of gender difference in regard to each of the criteria, partially, the study indicated that male students score significantly higher than female students in terms of a sense of belonging, females score significantly higher than males for decreased motivation in regard to classes, and males score significantly higher than females in relation to career maturity. No significant difference in scores was noted between males and females in relation to psychological apathy. The impact of a sense of belonging on psychological apathy, decreased motivation and career motivation was seen in the fact that across all categories, those students with a good relationship with friends at university had a suppressed level of decreased motivation in regard to university by the portions given in this document.展开更多

文摘This review paper explores approaches to sustaining the enduring connection between communities and heritage places in conservation planning.Amidst global overtourism, the gradual outmigration and sudden displacement of local communities from heritage places disrupt not only physical ties between people and places but also shared traditions, memories and emotional bonds. These intangible qualities constitute the social dimension of heritage and are pivotal to its cultural significance. However, existing conservation approaches to safeguarding this social dimension often rely on the continued presence of local communities, which may yield limited effectiveness in restoring people–place bonds amidst challenges posed by overtourism and displacement. This review unpacks the term‘social value’within the framework of value-based assessment and progresses towards a dynamic conception of‘sense of place’.In response to the changing social composition of‘local communities’at heritage places, this review examines approaches for conserving the social dimension of heritage, aiming to sustain the enduring continuity of people–place bonding. It proposes a broader definition of‘sense of place’that transcends the preconceived notion of stakeholder groups as a geographically defined community and suggests leveraging digital social platforms to re-establish these bonds. The review concludes by advocating for the‘glocal community’approach, acknowledging the personal emotional connections that individuals form with a heritage place regardless of their places of residence. This approach has the potential to complement existing methods, such as value-based assessment and the living heritage approach, which are commonly practised in contemporary conservation efforts.
文摘Since the 18th National Congress, forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation has become the guiding principle of Minzu Work;and it serves the overall goal of building a modern socialist country with Chinese characteristics and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. In order to forge a sense of community for the Chinese nation, having top design and material basis is not enough, dynamic motivation and actual practice are also necessary to connect the two together closely.Semiotic activities, which integrate sensory perceptibility, indexicality and symbolic meaning may act as the binding agent and coagulant that stick together the"material form"and the""spirit"of the top design,so as to develop naturalized habituation and match our actions to our words.Culture is embodied not only in the sophisticated and exceedingly esteemed theories and arts, but also in the rich spectrum of daily life of the general public;it involves the semiosis of triads:sensory perceptibility, indexicality, and symbolic values. Here the formation of habits is also involved.Though forging a sense of community for the Chinese nation happens on a cultural-ethical level,it has to be tangibly supported with the motivated will and physical sensations.
文摘Throughout history, there have been close political, economic, and cultural connections between the border areas and the interior of China. To strengthen the unity of the Chinese nation and forge a strong sense of national identity,it is important to draw inspiration from our history.Politically,we must reinforce the memory of national unity and promote the belief that the Chinese nation is a big family and China's territory is indivisible.Economically,it is crucial to continue the historical economic ties between the border areas and the interior, and to deepen economic interdependence in the present era. This will strengthen economic connections between different regions and groups within China and promote unity.Socially,it is essential to facilitate the population flow between dfferent regions, particularly between the border areas and the interior,to promote ethnic communication and integration.Encouraging ethnic groups to live among each other and supporting two-way population flow can further enhance social cohesion.Culturally,we must maintain our tradition of cultural sharing and spread traditional Chinese culture and modern socialist values among all ethnic groups. This will strengthen the bond of the Chinese nation as one community. These four pillars-political,economic,social,and cultural-form the foundation of a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.
文摘The musical dance art recorded in early Dunhuang Grottoes, though supposed to be created by ancient northern ethnic groups such as the Hun and Xianbei, gives expression to a strong thought of"Chinafication"and a sense of community for the Chinese nation.By analyzing the essence and content of the musical dance art in the Dunhuang Grottoes created during the Northern Liang(A.D.397-460),Northern Wei(A.D.386-534),Western Wei(A.D.535-556)and Northern Zhou(A.D.557-581)Dynasties,and by exploring the contribution of ancient ethnic groups such as the Hun and Xianbei in the formation and development of Chinese nation, this study reveals that the musical dance art in early Dunhuang Grottoes faithfully reflects the community pattern of the Chinese nation featured by"unity in diversity"developed since ancient times, and hopes that the future research and creation may expand their horizon by incorporating the musical dance art of early Dunhuang Grottoes into the system of contemporary Dunhuang dance.
