It is basically divided into the...The Late Neoproterozoic-Early Palaeozoic suture zones within the Central Orogenic Belt of China can be considered a system—the Kunlun-Qilian-Qinling suture system (KQQ suture system). It is basically divided into the western, central and eastern sectors. The western sector consists of the Küda-Subashi suture zone, the Mazar-Kangxiwar suture and the central West Kunlun microblock. The central sector covers the following five suture zones: the Altun, North Qilian, Qaidam northern marginal, Qimantag-Wutuo and East Kunlun southern marginal sutures, in addition to some microblocks such as the mid-south Qilian, Qaidam, Ayakkum and Maqen microblocks. The eastern sector is composed of the Shangdan suture zone, Mianlüe suture zone and central Qinling-Dabie microblock. The KQQ suture system experienced (1) extending-rifting of the Rodinia super-continent in the early-middle Sinian (~780–600 Ma); (2) the formation and evolution of the KQQ archipelagic ocean during the Late Sinian-Ordovician (~600–440 Ma), and (3) closing of the KQQ ocean and forming of the KQQ suture system during the Late Ordovician—early Silurian (~440–400 Ma). As a system comprising many suture zones and microblocks, the KQQ suture system constitutes the foundation of the Central Orogenic Belt of China.展开更多
In this paper the authors cite the aerosol samples collected with a KA-200 Anderson cascade Impactor and a KB-120 sampler during the first cruise of the Kuroshio investigation operated by the People's Republic of ...In this paper the authors cite the aerosol samples collected with a KA-200 Anderson cascade Impactor and a KB-120 sampler during the first cruise of the Kuroshio investigation operated by the People's Republic of China and Japan cooperative program, from July 23 to August 21, 1987. The concentration size distributions and composition of marine aerosols over the Kuroshio area are analyzed. Neutron activation analysis is used to determine the elemental composition of the aerosols. The authors also discuss some characteristics of marine aerosols relating to long-range transport of crustal and anthropogenic elements from the continent to the remote ocean. Analytical results indicate that elements Al, Fe, Sc and Sb over this area are obviously influenced by the continent of Asia, and the size distributions are changed after long-range transport. The concentration of large particles increase. The concentrations of the elements C1 and Na are closely related to ocean conditions; the source of the elements Cl and Na is mainly the ocean. Besides coal combustion, the ocean is also a very important source for the element Se. The amount of Se is related to the distribution of marine life.展开更多

Experi...Ice nuclei-supersaturation spectra in the form of a Power Law ( Ni=RSir; B and y are empirical constants) have been expressed since 1973 when the curve was first introduced independentally by Gagin and Huffman. Experiments performed with a thermal gradient diffusion chamber in order to investigate the validity of the power curve. The results show that a linear curve fit to the data is as good as the power curve. The linear curve has the coefficients of correlation between 0.75 and 0.93 whereas the power curve fit to the same data has the coefficients between 0.82 and 0.93. The data reported by other workers, Zamurs and Jiusto and Zamurs et al., exhibit the same trend.展开更多

Numerical results are given for cylindrically curved cross-ply panels subjected to uniform uniaxial compression under two types of boundary conditions. There were 8 cases of gast...A study of precancerous gastric lesion was conducted in a randomly selected high risk population in Linqu, Shandong Province of China. 849 subjects aged from 30-64 were examined bioptically. There were 8 cases of gastric cancer, the prevalence rate was 0.9%. 169 subjects were diagnosed to be dysplasia, the prevalence rate of dysplasia was increased significantly with age. The regression equation was Y=0.47X-0.25. The prevalence of CAG was found in 36 per cent of the studied subjects and both dysplasia and CAG were more serious in the antrum than the. fundus. The results showed a natural history of precancerous gastric lesions in a high risk population in a high risk area.展开更多

Three genotypes of...The allelic distribution of EcoRI and BamHI fragments of ras family genes between the human primary gastric cancer tissues and the corresponding adjacent normal tissues did not show any differences. Three genotypes of BamHI restriction fragments length polymorphism of c-H-ras were revealed. No significant differences in the RFLPs were observed between normal individuals and gastric cancer patients. Four protooncogenes, c-H-ras, N-ras, c-myc and c-fos, were found to be transcriptionally active in the gastric cancer tissues in some cases examined. The comparison of the expression of these oncogenes between the malignant tissues and the corresponding normal tissues showed differential patterns. The expression of c-H-ras at cellular level was detected with in situ hybridization. The enhanced expression of c-H-ras in the gastric cancer cells was demonstrated, but the degree of the expession among the cancer cells was shown to be heterogeneous. In addition, the enhanced expression of c-H-ras was seen in the inflammatory cells.展开更多

Then, the scattering problem can be solved on basis of the relation between the total and the scattered. field. The solution of the scattered field can be obtained directly from the general formula of the scattered field as the cylinder is illuminated by a spherical wave. For a plane wave of arbitrary polarization incident to the cylinder from the direction (theta-0, phi-0), the scattered field can be given by the solution of the scattered field with a spherical wave incident as the center of the spherical wave moves to infinity. For an astigmatic wave incident to the cylinder, the scattered field can be derived by superposing or integrating of the scattered field with the special spherical wave incident.展开更多

(1) The γ-GT activi...γ-Glutamyltranspeptidase (γ-GT) from human esophageal cancer, normal esophageal mucosa and normal kindney were partially purified and their biochemical and immunological properties were studied. (1) The γ-GT activity of esophageal cancer was higher than that of normal mucosa, yet still much lower than that of normal kidney. (2) The Michaelis constant and optimum pH of esophageal cancer γ-GT were the same as those of normal kidney tissue. (3) After staining of γ-GT activity, two molecular clusters, i.e. 100kD and 380kD γ-GT were shown in esophageal cancer by 4-20% linear gradient PAGE and the lOOkD γ-GT showed higher activity. (4) The γ-GT of esophageal cancer was immunologically identical with normal enzyme in double immunodif-fusion and immunoelectrophoresis. (5) In double lectin-diffusion, affinity column and crossed immuno-affino-electrophoresis, it was demonstrated that the carbohydrate components of γ-GT from esophageal cancer were heterogeneous and rich in D-Mannose, D-Glucose and N-Acetyl-Glucosamine. The relationship between the appearance of 100kD γ-GT cluster and the heterogeneous carbohydrate components will be further studied.展开更多

The study of the dependence of conversion efficiency on plasma density shows that the conversion efficiency is affected by the driven current, which is mainly dominated by the competition of impurity concentration with wave accessibility condition. The date indicated the following conclusions: the tumor growth could be inhibited by aspirin alone (p<0.01) but Chinese medicine group was observed. Mice treated with radiotherapy together with medicine both Chinese medicine and aspirin, had a statistically significant tumor inhibiting (p<0.01) as compared to mice treated with radiotherapy alone. The function to prevent the normal tissues from radiation by these two medicine groups were observed simultaneously. In addition, blood-flow volume of microcirculation, immune function and lymphocyte micronucleus were examined, which were used to analyse potential mechanism of sensitizing enhancement for Chinese medicine and aspirin.展开更多

The model is used to describe a series of aquifer thermal energy storage experiments conducted at the Shanghai experimental site, including single-well injection, double-well injection/production and multiple-well injection/prodution tests. The simulated temperatures agree very well with the field data (relative error: 2.8%-4.5%). A detailed description of the model is given, followed by a detailed comparison of simulated and measured temperature distributions.展开更多

X-ray diffraction studies of the airborne matter collec...The results obtained from an investigation of suspended particulate matter in the metropolitan city of Lahore (Pakistan) are reported and analysed in this paper. X-ray diffraction studies of the airborne matter collected from various urban and suburban sites show that non-clay minerals such as quartz, calcite and albite are contained in most of the samples in almost comparable amounts. Chemical analysis of some samples was carried out for complementing the x-ray diffraction data. The amount of quartz in the samples of dusty areas was found to be an order of magnitude more than in the samples of relatively cleaner areas. As the dust particles of these compounds are poor substrate for promoting nucleation of ice in the atmospheric clouds, they are liable to stay steadily in the atmosphere as pollutants.A comparison of the results of the airborne particulates and the soil samples collected from various sites show that the sources of quartz, calcite and albite in the airborne matter are both local and remote.展开更多

With the increase of atmospheric turbidity, the planetary albedo has different characteristics in different seasons, and there is an evident decrease in the winter season. It means that the local aerosol has an heating effect to the atmosphere in winter. The correlation feature between the surface temperature and the horizontal visibility from 1963 to 1986 is analyzed, and anticorrelation is discovered in winter. 文摘This paper proposes a 3-D convection-heat dispersion model for a confined aquifer. The governing equation of the model contains not only the traditional convection and conduction terms, but also a heat dispersion term which has often been overlooked in many similar researches. The model is used to describe a series of aquifer thermal energy storage experiments conducted at the Shanghai experimental site, including single-well injection, double-well injection/production and multiple-well injection/prodution tests. The simulated temperatures agree very well with the field data (relative error: 2.8%-4.5%). A detailed description of the model is given, followed by a detailed comparison of simulated and measured temperature distributions.
文摘The results obtained from an investigation of suspended particulate matter in the metropolitan city of Lahore (Pakistan) are reported and analysed in this paper. X-ray diffraction studies of the airborne matter collected from various urban and suburban sites show that non-clay minerals such as quartz, calcite and albite are contained in most of the samples in almost comparable amounts. Chemical analysis of some samples was carried out for complementing the x-ray diffraction data. The amount of quartz in the samples of dusty areas was found to be an order of magnitude more than in the samples of relatively cleaner areas. As the dust particles of these compounds are poor substrate for promoting nucleation of ice in the atmospheric clouds, they are liable to stay steadily in the atmosphere as pollutants.A comparison of the results of the airborne particulates and the soil samples collected from various sites show that the sources of quartz, calcite and albite in the airborne matter are both local and remote.
文摘In this paper an investigation of the ground vortex,the significant aerodynamic phenomenonin rotor aerodynamics on nap-of-the- earth,is carried out.Based on the analysisof the rotor wake near the ground,a theoretical method has been established which canbe used for calculating the ground vortex—its longitudinal position and strength.Thecomputational results are compared with avaUable experimental data and found in goodagreement.
文摘In this paper, the monthly-averaged planetary albedo and equivalent blackbody temperature are calculated by using Gauss-Seidle numerical model to solve the equation of radiative transfer, based on measured aerosol data over Beijing aera. With the increase of atmospheric turbidity, the planetary albedo has different characteristics in different seasons, and there is an evident decrease in the winter season. It means that the local aerosol has an heating effect to the atmosphere in winter. The correlation feature between the surface temperature and the horizontal visibility from 1963 to 1986 is analyzed, and anticorrelation is discovered in winter. It is found that surface temperature increases with the increase of aeresol.
