Capacity Building Needs for Manual and Computer Assisted Teaching of Pattern Drafting for Entrepreneurship in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria

This study investigated the capacity building needs for manual and computer assisted teaching of pattern drafting for entrepreneurship in tertiary institutions in Nigeria.The study was conducted and guided by two research questions and two hypotheses.This study adopted an ex-post facto research design.The population for the study consisted of 131 Home Economics lecturers from the Universities,Polytechnic,and Colleges of Education in South East Nigeria.The entire population was studied because of its manageable size,hence there was no sampling.The results of this study showed that the Home Economics lecturers are competent in drafting patterns using manual method.Technical skills required for lecturers of Home Economics to advance from manual to computer-assisted teaching of pattern drafting were identified.They include ability to grade patterns,ability to use software packages,and ability to discuss procedures of pattern drafting among others.Based on the findings,it was recommended among others that computer assisted teaching of pattern drafting should be incorporated and applied by Home Economics lecturers to ensure that students acquire technical skills that will enable them to enter into entrepreneurship.

Oral Report in RICH English Teaching Pattern

RICH teaching pattern is directed by humanistic thought with main goals to develop comprehensive qualities of students,to improve English applying abilities of students and cultivate teaching qualities of students.Firstly,a brief review is presented about RICH teaching pattern including its background,connotation and gained achievements.Next,as for the important step in RICH teaching pattern-oral report,this paper analyzes its necessity and function in English class and introduces its types and application in the class.In sum,oral report reflects student-centered thought of RICH teaching pattern and is a new method to improve college English teaching efficiency.

Exploration on 5E Teaching Principle-based Education for the Object-oriented Software Construction Course

Most current object-oriented programming courses offered by domestic colleges and universities generally focus on the object-oriented programming language itself,i.e.,the programming grammar of the language,but ignore the design pattern.However,design patterns are essential to software engineering because they can solve common problems in software design and improve code reuse,readability,extensibility,and reliability.Our Object-oriented Software Construction Course is creative since it aims at cultivating students’object-oriented thinking as well as basic abilities required to construct high-quality,object-oriented software.Specifically,we exploit the 5E teaching principle during the education of this course,and present the whole pipeline in the paper.We also provide one case of the factory pattern to further demonstrate the implementation of the 5E teaching principle in the course.The effect of the 5E teaching principle has also been demonstrated.

Construction of Animation Education System Based on Interactive Teaching Pattern

This paper is on the construction of animation education system based on the interactive teaching pattern. In brief, the animation industry is a sunrise industry, for promotes our country animation industry fast healthy development, the university should further consummate the education directive, the attention enhances the student to synthesize the quality, takes student＇ s innovation ability and the practice ability raise, the enhancement and the enterprise cooperation. In the process of positioning the cartoon talent should be based on the basic needs of the animation industry employment, the establishment of the basic skills of talent training objectives, in order to make talent positioning and industry needs closer. In the future, we will apply the proposed method in the general teaching activities to enhance the overall performance.

Analysis of life-based teaching pattern towards college English

No longer limited to the classroom, English teaching is now using a more open teaching mode. As teachers, we want to use every opportunity to help students broaden environment for English learning and using, trying to find a life-based teaching pattern that using is learning and learning is using. As a result, English teaching can integrated with real-life, creating the live-based teaching atmosphere for students to immerse them. The pattern encourages students to subtly become infected with classroom English teaching which built by the concept of life, combining innovative spirit and practical ability and truly reflects the communicative function in English when students come to the society.

The Importance of Thought Patterns in English Teaching

In English teaching,during the communication,students arrange languages to express their ides according to their own thought patterns and they could understand other people's language simultaneously to form a kind of thought pattern similar to other people's thought patterns. This paper compares English thought pattern with Chinese thought pattern,and provides some suggestion for English teaching of syntax and translation.

Exploration and Practice of Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in Operations Research Courses Based on the“Trinity”

This study analyzes the background of ideological and political theories teaching in operations research courses and provides a design framework for ideological and political theories teaching in operations research courses based on“trinity”according to real teaching practices.This article summarizes the merging point of ideological and political theories teaching in operations research courses,taking ability and knowledge as its carrier and ideological and political theories teaching as its core,as well as discusses four methods of ideological and political theories teaching:online and offline interactive teaching,stimulating independent learning by practical application,seminar-style flipped classroom,and promoting theoretical teaching through competition and scientific research.

Prescribing patterns of antibiotics at two teaching hospitals in Sanandaj

We report here the results of a prospective analysis of the pattern of antibiotics use over a one month period(May 2009)at two teaching hospitals in Sanandaj,western part of Iran.Data on antibiotic usage were obtained from the pharmacy services.Data was coded,computed and analyzed using SPSS version 11.5.A total of 1336 and 556 patients from Beasat and Tohid hospital respectively received antibiotic.Male patients represented 758(41.5 %)and females 1080(58.5 %)of the total number of patients evaluated by physicians at the two hospitals during the one month period.Usage of antibiotics varied from hospital to hospital;Beasat hospital had the highest usage.The ward-wise distribution of antibiotic use showed that the prevalence of prescribing was highest in the post partum ward(66.58%).Similarly,among Tohid hospital wards,men surgical ward and women surgical ward prescribed antibiotics significantly more than all other wards.The route of administration of antibiotics was parentrally for 85.5% and 88.2% at Beasat anf Tohid hospitals respectively.The distribution of use of individual antibiotics showed that cepfzoline was the most frequently prescribed antibiotics used at both the hospitals.Delivery(childbirth)and pneumonia were the most frequent diagnosed pattern for which an antibiotic was prescribed at Beasat and Tohid hospital respectively.In conclusion our study suggests that there is considerable scope for improving prescribing pattern among the practitioners and minimizing the use of antibiotics.The improvement would be facilitated by providing feedback,prescriber education and hospital formulary.

The Application of Thematic Progression in CET-4 Argumentative Writing Teaching

Based on the theoretical foundation of thematic progression construction, this paper introduces several common patterns of thematic progression and attempts to find applicability of patterns of thematic progression in the teaching of CET-4 argumentative writing from the perspective of discourse so as to show the implication of these patterns for the teaching of college English writing.

Analysis of the PBL Model in the Application of Surgical Experiment Teaching

objective： to analyze the application value of the PBL in the surgical experimental teaching mode. Methods： choose between September 2013 and September 2013 128 clinical professional students, average by using the lottery will be divided into control group and the team, every 64 students for 1 set, in surgical experimental teaching as a research courses, the teaching methods for the traditional teaching method in the control group, while the team gives PBL teaching mode, the teaching effect of the final will be two groups of students are analyzed and compared. Results： through different teaching methods for teaching, compared with control group, the group at the student＇s test scores, and the ability to significantly higher, the difference of both P 〈 0.05, there is statistically significant. Conclusion： using PBL teaching mode in the surgical experimental teaching effect is remarkable, can promote the students＇ comprehensive ability and is worth popularizing application.

The Role of Blog in English Teaching

As products of network information technology, the blog records the history of people minds; it provides people with personalized communication space. At the same time, teachers are paying more attention to the blog, and it will gradually become a new English teaching method. For its own bright characteristics, blog plays a specific role in the teaching, and remedies some defects in traditional teaching. Teachers can share their thoughts with their students by using blog, they also use blog to do research with their colleagues. By expatiating on the use of blog in English teaching, the author proposes that the blog will play an important role in establishing a new English teaching system and a new learning pattern, which will lead to improvement in learning and teaching evaluation.

基于PDCA循环的成本会计本科课程“三位一体”混合教学模式设计与应用

“三位一体”临床实践能力培养模式的构建与应用

对医学生进行规范化的临床技能训练是高等医学教育实践教学改革实施的关键。针对当前高校临床实践教学过程中存在教学水平和硬件差异化明显等问题,大连医科大学附属第一医院以提高学生临床实践能力、促进理论与实践相结合为目标,采用“三位一体”模式应用于卓越医学人才的培养中,即“三阶段”医学本科生标准临床技能培训(大医模式)、结合循证医学的以问题为基础的教学法(problem-based learning,PBL)/以案例为基础的教学法(case-based learning,CBL)、基于互联网资源实施的交互式教学模式。这一模式在大连医科大学备战校内技能大赛的学生中得到了应用,并取得了显著成效,即学生在校内比赛中荣获一等奖。实践证明,“三位一体”临床实践能力培养模式能够助力学生岗位胜任力的提高,受到师生欢迎。

文章首先就语体而言对“汉语书面语”作了扼要说明:其次从三方面阐述了观点:一是对汉语句式作了分类说明,并指出汉语书面语教学主要需关注和抓好两类句式的教学:一类是口语和书面语通用句式,另一类是书面语句式中的“正式语体”句式;二是以实例说明从“句式”视角开展汉语书面语教学所需研究的种种问题;三是如何从句式视角进行汉语书面语教学,提出两点具体建议。

智慧教室环境下数学课堂互动教学双编码分析系统开发与行为模式挖掘

如何充分利用智慧教室环境中积淀的教育大数据驱动课堂互动教学高质量发展,已成为我国教育数字化转型亟需解决的问题。对此,文章首先参考国内外课堂互动教学行为的量化分析成果,遵循媒体技术融合于课堂互动教学行为的理念,以5节具有高级智慧教室环境特征的数学优课为例,构建了智慧教室环境下数学课堂互动教学双编码分析系统,并采用肯德尔和谐系数验证了其有效性。接着,文章将30节用于教学行为模式挖掘的数学优课作为研究样本,采用S-T分析法,提炼出数学优课的混合型、对话型、讲授型课堂教学模式。之后,文章对混合型、对话型数学优课的课堂互动教学进行矩阵分析,并采用滞后序列法对混合型、对话型数学优课的课堂互动教学行为模式进行挖掘。最后,文章整合基于教学行为大数据的静态编码频次分析与动态前后关联分析,提炼出智慧教室环境下数学课堂互动教学的典型特征与最新趋向。文章的研究旨在挖掘教学行为大数据的应用价值,循证赋能我国教育的高质量发展与数字化转型。
