The free films were characterized and the nutrient relea...Waterborne acrylic emulsions modified with organic siloxanes and aziridine crosslinker were synthesized and applied as coating of controlled release fertilizer. The free films were characterized and the nutrient release profiles of the coated fertilizers were determined. The results show that methyl silicone oil and methylsilanolate sodium could not improve water resistance performance and glass transition temperature Tgof coatings, while the firmness is enhanced. Aziridine crosslinker improves the water resistance performance, firmness and Tg. Incorporation of methyl silicone oil and aziridine crosslinker gives an excellent aqueous acrylic emulsion for coated controlled release fertilizer, with the 30-day cumulative nutrient release reduced to 16% and an estimated nutrient release duration over 190 days. Therefore, this waterborne coating is promising to meet the requirements for controlled release of nutrient and environmental protection.展开更多
Alkaline earth metal (Mg,Ca,Sr and Ba)-doped Mo-V-Sb-O x catalysts,prepared by a dry-up method,have been investigated for their catalytic performance in the oxidation of propane under different reaction conditions.T...Alkaline earth metal (Mg,Ca,Sr and Ba)-doped Mo-V-Sb-O x catalysts,prepared by a dry-up method,have been investigated for their catalytic performance in the oxidation of propane under different reaction conditions.The catalysts have been characterized by N2 adsorption-desorption,temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) of NH3,SEM and XRD.Influence of water vapor on the catalytic performance,particularly on the selectivities to acetic acid and acrylic acid,has also been studied.The selectivity to acrylic acid was improved significantly by the doping of alkaline earth metals to Mo-V-Sb-O x catalysts.The surface acidic sites of the catalyst decreased with the doping of the catalyst with alkaline earth metals,which ultimately was found to be beneficial for obtaining high selectivity to acrylic acid.The catalytic activity and product selectivities were found to be influenced by the reaction temperature,C3H8/O2 ratio and space velocity.A significant improvement in the selectivity to acrylic acid has also been observed by the addition of water vapor in the feed of propane and oxygen in the oxidation of propane.展开更多

TEM demonstrates that there are some differences in the particle morphologies. AFM proves that the polymerizable emulsifier ANPEO10 migrating to the surface of the emulsion film was much less than the conventional emulsifier OP-10. The polymerizable emulsifier ANPEO10 can enhance the adhesion with glass plate compared to the conventional emulsifier. Furthermore, with increasing amount of emulsifier, the surface free energy of the films first decreased and then increased, and the adhesion with glass plate is initially enhanced and then attenuated. The water-resistance and solvent-resistance of the films prepared by the polymerizable emulsifier ANPEO10 are superior to those prepared by the conventional emulsifier OP-10.展开更多

A multi-...The formation mechanism of monodisperse polymer latex particles in the emulsifier-free emulsion polymerizationof methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate with potassium persulfate as initiator was investigated. A multi-step formationmechanism for the monodisperse polymer particles was proposed. The nucleation mechanism is considered to be thecoagulation of the precursor particles by homogeneous nucleation when the primary particles reach a critical size with highsurface charge density and sufficient stability. It had been proved by a special experiment that the early latex particles formedby the coagulation were stable. The primary particles grow by absorbing monomers and radicals in the polymerization systemand then become colloidally unstable again due to the understandable decrease of particle surface charge density, which leadsto the aggregation of the growing particles and the formation of larger latex pedicles therefrom. Aner the nucleation period,the preferential aggregation of the smaller particles in the propagation process leads to the change of the particles towards auniform size and narrower particle size distribution. The coexistence and competition of homogeneous nucleation,coagulation, propagation and aggregation result in the increase of the polydispersity index (U = D_(43)/D_(10)) in the first Stage,then its decrease in the later stage because of the competition of propagation and aggregation, and the gradual formation ofthe monodisperse particles.展开更多

The influence of mass ratio of BA to MMA,amount of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide and poly solidum maleate on the rheological properties of the self-crosslinked emulsion was studied. Possible cross-linked mechanism of self-crosslinked monomer was investigated. And the relationship between emulsion viscosity and shear rate was investigated. The results show that the self-crosslinked acrylate emulsion with high elasticity can be synthesized when the mass fractions of BA is 60%,MMA is 40%,and added amount of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide is 2.5%-3.0% and added amount of poly solidum maleate is 0.3%-0.4%. The self-crosslinkage process of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide involves two steps. One is copolymerization of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide and acrylate,the other is cross-linkage among polymer molecules via condensation reaction of methylol. The emulsion is of rheological properties of pseudo-plastic fluid and belongs to non-Newtonian fluid.展开更多

Currently, the addition of natural fillers in the wood adhesive is one of the most effective ways to enhance the performance of PVAc wood adhesive in highly moist conditions. Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) are strong renewable, bio-based material and has great potential in a reinforcement of the polymeric matrix. Hence, the present work investigates the applicability of microcrystalline cellulose incorporated 3% and 5% in situ emulsion polymerization PVAc wood adhesives. Effect on physical, thermal and mechanical properties was studied by viscosity, pH, contact angle measurement, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and pencil hardness test of films. Emulsions with different proportions of MCC were prepared and the shear strength of the applied adhesive on wood was measured. The viscosity of the adhesives was increased by increasing the concentration of MCC. The mechanical properties like tensile strength of adhesives with MCC were measured by universal tensile machine (UTM). Thermal stability was studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The tensile shear strength demonstrates that MCC can improve bonding strength as compared to PVAc Homo based adhesive in the wet condition which was validated through a contact angle study. The hardness of PVAc films were also changed positively by the addition of MCC. Here, we studied the effect of the addition of different concentrations of MCC materials in situ polymerization of PVAc on their performance properties.展开更多

The amorp...Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) of polyacrylamide-co-acrylic acid (PAA) as the polymer host and zinc acetate (ZnA) as an ionic dopant were prepared using a single solvent by the solution casting technique. The amorphous and crystalline structures of film were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The surface morphology of samples was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The composition and complex formation of films were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The conductivity of the PAA-ZnA films was determined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. According to the XRD and FTIR analyses, all electrolyte films were in amorphous state and the existence of interaction between Zn2+ cations and the PAA structure confirms that the film was successfully prepared. The SEM observations reveal that the electrolyte films appeared to be rough and flat with irregularly shaped surfaces. The highest ionic conductivity (σ) of 1.82 × 10-5 Scm-1 was achieved at room temperature (303 K) for the sample containing 10 wt % ZnA.展开更多
Acrylic acid(AA)and its ester,methyl acrylate(MA),were produced by a green one‐step aldol condensation reaction of dimethoxymethane and methyl acetate.The reaction was conducted over ZSM‐35 zeolites with different c...Acrylic acid(AA)and its ester,methyl acrylate(MA),were produced by a green one‐step aldol condensation reaction of dimethoxymethane and methyl acetate.The reaction was conducted over ZSM‐35 zeolites with different concentrations of Bronsted acid,which were prepared by the sodium ion‐exchange process with H‐form zeolite.The acidic property of HZSM‐35 was studied in detail through infrared experiments.About 51%of all bridging OH groups were distributed in cages,while 23%and 26%,respectively,were distributed in 10‐and 8‐ring channels.The catalytic performance was enhanced by a high concentration of Bronsted acid,indicating that Bronsted acid is an active site for the aldol condensation reaction.The ZSM‐35 zeolite possessing a concentration of Bronsted acid as high as 0.049 mmol/g demonstrated excellent performance with a MA+AA selectivity of up to 73%.展开更多

Gastroprotective potential of BJOE was studied on absolute ethanol,aspirin, reserpine and restraint p...The present study aims to investigate the gastroprotective effect of Brucea javanica oil emulsion(BJOE) in animals. Gastroprotective potential of BJOE was studied on absolute ethanol,aspirin, reserpine and restraint plus water immersion-induced gastric ulcers in mice as well as glacial acetic acid(GAA) and pyloric ligation(PL)-induced gastric ulcers in rats. Except for ulcer scores, total acidity as well as pepsin activity as for the PL-induced gastric ulcer model and ulcer incidence as for the GAA-induced gastric ulcer model were also determined. Histopathological evaluation as for aspirin, reserpine, PL-induced models was conducted. Results showed that BJOE significantly(P < 0.05) reduced ulcer index in the mouse and rat models in a dose-dependent manner. It had significant(P < 0.05) suppressive effect on total activity of gastric juice as well in PL-induced model. Histopathological examination for the stomach samples confirmed the findings in the aspirin, reserpine or PLinduced gastric lesion models, which showed relatively complete mucosa structure and less inflammation. It is concluded that BJOE could be effective on gastric ulcer in rodents and its gastroprotective activity might be related to antioxidant, anti-inflammatory ability and promote gastric mucus secreted. The results may provide beneficial basis for increasing BJOE's clinical indication in future.展开更多
Despite the great potential of cellulose wood pulp and cellulose nanofibrils as reinforcing filler in thermoplastics,its use is limited due to its tendency to form agglomerates and due to its high hydrophilic characte...Despite the great potential of cellulose wood pulp and cellulose nanofibrils as reinforcing filler in thermoplastics,its use is limited due to its tendency to form agglomerates and due to its high hydrophilic character.Here we describe fiberboard composites with high contents of wood pulp or cellulose nanofibrils,and a resin of poly(styrene-methyl-methacrylate-acrylic acid)used as water-based emulsion.Cellulose wood pulp and cellulose nanofibrils were used directly in the form of water suspensions.The method is based on the flocculation of the polymer emulsion followed by agglomeration of a mixture of the polymer emulsion and cellulose suspension,leading to the co-precipitation of the composite material,which can be easily separated from the water phase.Composites with acrylic polymer/cellulose fibers in the proportions of 75:25,50:50 and 25:75 wt%were prepared.Composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA)and water absorption tests.SEM analysis revealed a very good dispersion of the fibers without evidence of agglomeration,which led to superior mechanical properties.These results showed the effectiveness of the methodology and the potential of cellulose wood pulp and CNF as reinforcement fillers in fiberboard composites and any other high fiber-content materials.展开更多

The copolymer was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT.IR) and the thermal stability was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The emulsion was applied on cotton fabric and the surface properties of treated fabric were studied. The treated surface showed good repellent properties as contact angle for water reached 145° and for n-dodecane 110° respectively. The surface also showed some flame retardant property with 22.5 % of limited oxygen index (LOI).展开更多

As an initial stage, free radical copolymerization of acrylonitrile (AN) and vinyl acetate (VAc) was synthesized by emulsion polymerization using ammonium persulfate (APS) and dodecyl benzene sulfonic acid salt (DBSA) as a surfactant. P (AN-co-VAc)/PPy composites were obtained first time by in situ addition of the pyrrole into the reaction medium. The electrospun P (AN-co-VAc)/PPy nanofibers were obtained from the nanoparticles with better properties and the effect of PPy on the morphology of nanofibers was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). High degree of homogeneity and molecular order induced by molecular dispersion of polypyrrole on copolymer matrix without phase separation improve the transport properties and stability of polypyrrole, which are critical for high-performance organic electronics.展开更多

Storage stability klow beha...In this article, AHPS (3 - allyloxy- 2 -hydrory- 1 -Propanesulfonate salt) wassynthesized to use in emulsifier-Ne emulsion polymerization of BA/BMa/MMA systemfor high solid content latexes. Storage stability klow behavior of the latexes,morphology of the obtained latex particles, dynamic viscoelastic behavior, tensilestrength and water resistance properties of the resulted copolymers were investigated.The experimental results show that with the addition of AHPS, stability of the emulsionis greatly improved that there appears no apparent precipitation dunring thepolymerization and storage at room temperature for 6 months and at -10℃ for fourmonths. Flow of the latexes follows the Bingham body laws, diameter of the latexparticles is about 0.6μn, of which is larger than that of by conventional emulsionpolymerization(0.12μm). In addition, not only water resistance of the copolymersobtained by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization is greatly improved, but alsotensile strength is obviously enhanced.展开更多

文摘Stable high-solids-content acrylate emulsion were obtained with a nonionic polymerizable emulsifier allyloxy nonylphenoxy poly (ethyleneoxy) (10) ether (ANPEO10), and a conventional emulsifier OP-10 as a reference sample. 1H NMR proves that the polymerizable emulsifier ANPEO10 has been incorporated into the resulted acrylate polymers. TEM demonstrates that there are some differences in the particle morphologies. AFM proves that the polymerizable emulsifier ANPEO10 migrating to the surface of the emulsion film was much less than the conventional emulsifier OP-10. The polymerizable emulsifier ANPEO10 can enhance the adhesion with glass plate compared to the conventional emulsifier. Furthermore, with increasing amount of emulsifier, the surface free energy of the films first decreased and then increased, and the adhesion with glass plate is initially enhanced and then attenuated. The water-resistance and solvent-resistance of the films prepared by the polymerizable emulsifier ANPEO10 are superior to those prepared by the conventional emulsifier OP-10.

文摘In the present paper a model equation for calculating the radical desorption rate constant,k<sub>0</sub>,in the emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate was suggested and the various parameters forevaluating k<sub>0</sub> were determined.Effects of reaction temperature,emulsifier concentration,initiator con-centration,monomer conversion and phase ratio on k<sub>0</sub> were studied.It indicates that the desorptionof radicals from latex particles to aqueous phase must be taken into account in the modelling ofemulsion polymerization for the monomers with higher hydrophilicity such as vinyl acetate.

文摘The seeded semicontinuous emulsion multi-copolymerization of butyl acrylate (BA), 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2EHA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), 2-hydroxyl propyl acrylate (HOPA) and acrylic acid (AA) was used to prepare the acrylic latexes with high-solid content. The effects of monomer emulsion feed rates (R(a)) and (R/E)(E) values, the ratio of emulsifier amount between the initial charge (R) and the addition monomer emulsion (E), on the polymerization reaction features, the viscosities, surface tensions,particle sizes and particle sizes distributions of latexes, T-g and the insoluble fractions of films, the 180 degrees peel strength, tack and holding power of pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes, prepared from the latexes, were studied. Experimental study shows that the grafting and crosslinking fraction in the PSA tapes must be controlled within a suitable range to keep the balance of the 180 degrees peel strength, tack and holding power.

文摘The formation mechanism of monodisperse polymer latex particles in the emulsifier-free emulsion polymerizationof methyl methacrylate and butyl acrylate with potassium persulfate as initiator was investigated. A multi-step formationmechanism for the monodisperse polymer particles was proposed. The nucleation mechanism is considered to be thecoagulation of the precursor particles by homogeneous nucleation when the primary particles reach a critical size with highsurface charge density and sufficient stability. It had been proved by a special experiment that the early latex particles formedby the coagulation were stable. The primary particles grow by absorbing monomers and radicals in the polymerization systemand then become colloidally unstable again due to the understandable decrease of particle surface charge density, which leadsto the aggregation of the growing particles and the formation of larger latex pedicles therefrom. Aner the nucleation period,the preferential aggregation of the smaller particles in the propagation process leads to the change of the particles towards auniform size and narrower particle size distribution. The coexistence and competition of homogeneous nucleation,coagulation, propagation and aggregation result in the increase of the polydispersity index (U = D_(43)/D_(10)) in the first Stage,then its decrease in the later stage because of the competition of propagation and aggregation, and the gradual formation ofthe monodisperse particles.

文摘Using butyl acrylate(BA),methyl methacrylate(MMA),methacrylic acid(MAA) and mixed emulsifier as raw materials,the self-crosslinked emulsion was prepared via pre-emulsified and semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization technology in the presence of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide and poly solidum maleate. The influence of mass ratio of BA to MMA,amount of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide and poly solidum maleate on the rheological properties of the self-crosslinked emulsion was studied. Possible cross-linked mechanism of self-crosslinked monomer was investigated. And the relationship between emulsion viscosity and shear rate was investigated. The results show that the self-crosslinked acrylate emulsion with high elasticity can be synthesized when the mass fractions of BA is 60%,MMA is 40%,and added amount of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide is 2.5%-3.0% and added amount of poly solidum maleate is 0.3%-0.4%. The self-crosslinkage process of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide involves two steps. One is copolymerization of N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide and acrylate,the other is cross-linkage among polymer molecules via condensation reaction of methylol. The emulsion is of rheological properties of pseudo-plastic fluid and belongs to non-Newtonian fluid.
文摘Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) colloid stabilized Polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) based wood adhesive has poor performance in highly humid conditions. Currently, the addition of natural fillers in the wood adhesive is one of the most effective ways to enhance the performance of PVAc wood adhesive in highly moist conditions. Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) are strong renewable, bio-based material and has great potential in a reinforcement of the polymeric matrix. Hence, the present work investigates the applicability of microcrystalline cellulose incorporated 3% and 5% in situ emulsion polymerization PVAc wood adhesives. Effect on physical, thermal and mechanical properties was studied by viscosity, pH, contact angle measurement, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and pencil hardness test of films. Emulsions with different proportions of MCC were prepared and the shear strength of the applied adhesive on wood was measured. The viscosity of the adhesives was increased by increasing the concentration of MCC. The mechanical properties like tensile strength of adhesives with MCC were measured by universal tensile machine (UTM). Thermal stability was studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The tensile shear strength demonstrates that MCC can improve bonding strength as compared to PVAc Homo based adhesive in the wet condition which was validated through a contact angle study. The hardness of PVAc films were also changed positively by the addition of MCC. Here, we studied the effect of the addition of different concentrations of MCC materials in situ polymerization of PVAc on their performance properties.

文摘Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) of polyacrylamide-co-acrylic acid (PAA) as the polymer host and zinc acetate (ZnA) as an ionic dopant were prepared using a single solvent by the solution casting technique. The amorphous and crystalline structures of film were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The surface morphology of samples was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The composition and complex formation of films were characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The conductivity of the PAA-ZnA films was determined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. According to the XRD and FTIR analyses, all electrolyte films were in amorphous state and the existence of interaction between Zn2+ cations and the PAA structure confirms that the film was successfully prepared. The SEM observations reveal that the electrolyte films appeared to be rough and flat with irregularly shaped surfaces. The highest ionic conductivity (σ) of 1.82 × 10-5 Scm-1 was achieved at room temperature (303 K) for the sample containing 10 wt % ZnA.
文摘Acrylic acid(AA)and its ester,methyl acrylate(MA),were produced by a green one‐step aldol condensation reaction of dimethoxymethane and methyl acetate.The reaction was conducted over ZSM‐35 zeolites with different concentrations of Bronsted acid,which were prepared by the sodium ion‐exchange process with H‐form zeolite.The acidic property of HZSM‐35 was studied in detail through infrared experiments.About 51%of all bridging OH groups were distributed in cages,while 23%and 26%,respectively,were distributed in 10‐and 8‐ring channels.The catalytic performance was enhanced by a high concentration of Bronsted acid,indicating that Bronsted acid is an active site for the aldol condensation reaction.The ZSM‐35 zeolite possessing a concentration of Bronsted acid as high as 0.049 mmol/g demonstrated excellent performance with a MA+AA selectivity of up to 73%.
文摘The present study aims to investigate the gastroprotective effect of Brucea javanica oil emulsion(BJOE) in animals. Gastroprotective potential of BJOE was studied on absolute ethanol,aspirin, reserpine and restraint plus water immersion-induced gastric ulcers in mice as well as glacial acetic acid(GAA) and pyloric ligation(PL)-induced gastric ulcers in rats. Except for ulcer scores, total acidity as well as pepsin activity as for the PL-induced gastric ulcer model and ulcer incidence as for the GAA-induced gastric ulcer model were also determined. Histopathological evaluation as for aspirin, reserpine, PL-induced models was conducted. Results showed that BJOE significantly(P < 0.05) reduced ulcer index in the mouse and rat models in a dose-dependent manner. It had significant(P < 0.05) suppressive effect on total activity of gastric juice as well in PL-induced model. Histopathological examination for the stomach samples confirmed the findings in the aspirin, reserpine or PLinduced gastric lesion models, which showed relatively complete mucosa structure and less inflammation. It is concluded that BJOE could be effective on gastric ulcer in rodents and its gastroprotective activity might be related to antioxidant, anti-inflammatory ability and promote gastric mucus secreted. The results may provide beneficial basis for increasing BJOE's clinical indication in future.
文摘Despite the great potential of cellulose wood pulp and cellulose nanofibrils as reinforcing filler in thermoplastics,its use is limited due to its tendency to form agglomerates and due to its high hydrophilic character.Here we describe fiberboard composites with high contents of wood pulp or cellulose nanofibrils,and a resin of poly(styrene-methyl-methacrylate-acrylic acid)used as water-based emulsion.Cellulose wood pulp and cellulose nanofibrils were used directly in the form of water suspensions.The method is based on the flocculation of the polymer emulsion followed by agglomeration of a mixture of the polymer emulsion and cellulose suspension,leading to the co-precipitation of the composite material,which can be easily separated from the water phase.Composites with acrylic polymer/cellulose fibers in the proportions of 75:25,50:50 and 25:75 wt%were prepared.Composites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),dynamic mechanical analysis(DMA)and water absorption tests.SEM analysis revealed a very good dispersion of the fibers without evidence of agglomeration,which led to superior mechanical properties.These results showed the effectiveness of the methodology and the potential of cellulose wood pulp and CNF as reinforcement fillers in fiberboard composites and any other high fiber-content materials.
文摘Well-defined nonionic hydrophilic ω-acryloyl poly(ethylene oxide) macro-monomer (PEO-A) has been prepared by living anionic polymerization of ethylene oxidewith diphenyl methyl potassium as the initiator and acryloyl chloride as the reaction termi-nating agent. The polymer was characterized by FTIR and SEC. The emulsifier-free emul-sion polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and n-butyl acrylate (BA) containingvarious concentrations of PEO-A was studied. In all cases stable emulsion coplymerizationsof MMA and BA were obtained. The stabilizing effect was found to be dependent on themolecular weight and the feed amount of the macromonomer.
文摘In order to prepare water-oil repellent and fire retardant textile finishing agent, 1H ,1H,2H,2H-perfluorooctyl acrylate (FA) and acryloyloxy-1, 3-his ( diethylphosphoramidate ) propan (BisDEAEPN) were copolymerized with 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate ( HEA ) and stearyl methacrylate ( SMA ) by emulsion polymerization to form fluorinated phosphorus-eantaining acrylate copolymer (PFPA). The copolymer was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT.IR) and the thermal stability was investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The emulsion was applied on cotton fabric and the surface properties of treated fabric were studied. The treated surface showed good repellent properties as contact angle for water reached 145° and for n-dodecane 110° respectively. The surface also showed some flame retardant property with 22.5 % of limited oxygen index (LOI).
文摘Poly (acrylonitrile-co-vinyl acetate)/polypyrrole composite particles with uniform size and morphology have been synthesized using one-step polymerization that involves swelling and coating of polypyrrole (PPy) into P (AN-co-VAc) latex nanoparticles. As an initial stage, free radical copolymerization of acrylonitrile (AN) and vinyl acetate (VAc) was synthesized by emulsion polymerization using ammonium persulfate (APS) and dodecyl benzene sulfonic acid salt (DBSA) as a surfactant. P (AN-co-VAc)/PPy composites were obtained first time by in situ addition of the pyrrole into the reaction medium. The electrospun P (AN-co-VAc)/PPy nanofibers were obtained from the nanoparticles with better properties and the effect of PPy on the morphology of nanofibers was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). High degree of homogeneity and molecular order induced by molecular dispersion of polypyrrole on copolymer matrix without phase separation improve the transport properties and stability of polypyrrole, which are critical for high-performance organic electronics.
文摘In this article, AHPS (3 - allyloxy- 2 -hydrory- 1 -Propanesulfonate salt) wassynthesized to use in emulsifier-Ne emulsion polymerization of BA/BMa/MMA systemfor high solid content latexes. Storage stability klow behavior of the latexes,morphology of the obtained latex particles, dynamic viscoelastic behavior, tensilestrength and water resistance properties of the resulted copolymers were investigated.The experimental results show that with the addition of AHPS, stability of the emulsionis greatly improved that there appears no apparent precipitation dunring thepolymerization and storage at room temperature for 6 months and at -10℃ for fourmonths. Flow of the latexes follows the Bingham body laws, diameter of the latexparticles is about 0.6μn, of which is larger than that of by conventional emulsionpolymerization(0.12μm). In addition, not only water resistance of the copolymersobtained by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization is greatly improved, but alsotensile strength is obviously enhanced.
文摘An acrylic size 8K is synthesized by emulsion polymeriza-tion,the properties of which depend on the monomersparticipating in copolymerization and reaction tech-niques.The structure of the size molecule is character-ized by infrared spectrum.The hardness of the size filmis characterized by the glass transition temperature of thesynthesized copolymer which is a flexion point of DSCcurve.The micro state of the size adhering to yarns isshown by scanning electron microscopy.According tomeasurements,the acrylic size Size 8K has good adhesivepower and low water absorption,proper viscosity andhigh thermal stability,strong abrasion resistance andgood compatibility with other sizing agents.It aslo im-proves yarn breaking strength, yet has limited elongationloss.The acrylic size is a potential size to replace PVAand to apply to high speed looms.
