A modified Monte Carlo model of speckle tracking of shear wave propagation in scattering media is proposed. The established Monte Carlo model mainly concerns the variations of optical electric field and speckle. The two- dimensional intensity distribution and the time evolution of speckles in different probe locations are obtained. The fluctuation of speckle intensity tracks the acoustic-radiation-force shear wave propagation, and especially the reduction of speckle intensity implies attenuation of shear wave. Then, the shear wave velocity is estimated quantitatively on the basis of the time-to-peak algorithm and linear regression processing. The results reveal that a smaller sampling interval yields higher estimation precision and the shear wave velocity is estimated more efficiently by using speckle intensity difference than by using speckle contrast difference according to the estimation error. Hence, the shear wave velocity is estimated to be 2.25 m/s with relatively high accuracy for the estimation error reaches the minimum (0.071). 展开更多

The anechoic performance and mechanism of underwater elastic spherical shell covered with coating are studied at low frequencies. The acoustic cloak is anisotropic material, which can be designed with homogeneous isotropic materials on the basis of effective medium approximation theory. The analytic expression of scattering acoustic field from the shell covered with multilayered medium is formulated and the scattering form function, resonance mode, acoustic field distribution are computed, the scattering characteristics and mechanism of transmission are analyzed. The results show that the direction of sound transmission inside the multilayered medium is changed, the acoustic field is deflected gradually, and the acoustic energy flux is guided around the target, which reduces the scattering intensity at low frequencies, the acoustic intensity of target's surface is very weak.Excepting the first resonance peak in spectrum produced by the zero order partial wave, the other resonance modes of elastic spherical shell are not excitated and the multilayered medium can suppress the resonance of the spherical shell effectively. 展开更多

In this paper we present the Brillouin Scattering measurements of the longitudinal and transverse sound velocities for the hexahalome-atllate K2SnCl6 at room temperature . The elastic constants , refractive index , volume compressibility are determined from the Brillouin line shifts. Furthermore, the sound velocity in the [111] direction is investigated as a function of temperature 252K<T<270K . An acoustic adrupt change of the c11+2c12 mode is observed as the temperature approaches 256K from above, which has been analysed by means of the Pippard relations. The conclusion is that K2SnCl6 undergoes first order phase transition near T=256K. This acoustic anomaly can be interpreted by the nonlinear coupling of the elastic strain field to the fluctuation of the soft-mode coordinate. 展开更多
