In order to implement the national aesthetic education policy,it is essential to organically integrate relevant aesthetic education resources,promote interdisciplinary education,and carry out extracurricular practical activities centered on aesthetic education.Strengthening the foundation of aesthetic education theory,addressing practical challenges in the teaching process,and closely linking research with teaching will create a feedback loop that benefits drama education.This article provides an in-depth analysis of the construction strategies,resource advantages and disadvantages,and development of aesthetic education bases,offering countermeasures and suggestions for their construction in universities.It aims to provide a solid research foundation for the growth and development of aesthetic education bases in higher education institutions.

On Translation of Children’s Literature Based on Reception Aesthetics:A Case Study of The Secret Garden

Grounded in reader-centered theories,Reception Aesthetics prioritizes the active engagement and acceptance of target readers.This study examines the translation of children’s literature through the lens of Reception Aesthetics,using Li Wenjun’s rendition of The Secret Garden as a case study.The objective is to scrutinize various aspects of the translation-including vocabulary,syntax,rhetorical devices,and cultural nuances-and to discern how the adaptation and application of diverse translation strategies cater to the aesthetic expectations.

Integrated Sensing and Communication Enabled Sensing Base Station:System Design,Beamforming,Interference Cancellation and Performance Analysis

This paper studies the sensing base station(SBS)that has great potential to improve the safety of vehicles and pedestrians on roads.SBS can detect the targets on the road with communication signals using the integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)technique.Compared with vehicle-mounted radar,SBS has a better sensing field due to its higher deployment position,which can help solve the problem of sensing blind areas.In this paper,key technologies of SBS are studied,including the beamforming algorithm,beam scanning scheme,and interference cancellation algorithm.To transmit and receive ISAC signals simultaneously,a double-coupling antenna array is applied.The free detection beam and directional communication beam are proposed for joint communication and sensing to meet the requirements of beamwidth and pointing directions.The joint timespace-frequency domain division multiple access algorithm is proposed to cancel the interference of SBS,including multiuser interference and duplex interference between sensing and communication.Finally,the sensing and communication performance of SBS under the industrial scientific medical power limitation is analyzed and simulated.Simulation results show that the communication rate of SBS can reach over 100 Mbps and the range of sensing and communication can reach about 500 m.

Aesthetics-Based Analysis and Planning of Rural Natural Tourist Resources

In view of aesthetic needs of tourists,agricultural and natural tourist resources were analyzed from the perspective of aesthetics to satisfy "aesthetic pleasure" of tourists,research hypotheses in the scope of aesthetics were proposed and then verified through the large-sample questionnaire survey.Those hypotheses were proved tenable by scientifically analyzing survey results,disclosing the positive correlation between human-nature harmony and attraction of natural tourist resources in rural areas.On this basis,the system of agricultural and tourist resources in the scope of aesthetics was established,and the comprehensive planning for promoting the attraction of agricultural tourist sites was made from two aspects:constructing the overall rural natural landscapes,improving the style and taste of natural resources in farms.

Hyaluronic acid injection in the auricular base for the aesthetic correction of lying ears:A retrospective study

Background Ears play an important role in facial profiles.Lying ears are not perceived favorably in Asian cultures;therefore,surgical procedures are implemented to adjust this defect.However,surgery has complications and requires recovery time.We introduced a hyaluronic acid(HA)injection technique to aesthetically improve ear prominence.Methods This retrospective study examined 25 Chinese patients aged 20-47 years with congenital lying ears who received HA injections in the auricular base at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital and Hangzhou Yijie Medical Cosmetology Clinic between November 2019 and December 2022.The average injection volume was 6.32±1.22 mL in the auricular base unilaterally,and the follow-up time ranged from 6 to 24 months.Morphological measurement data were recorded.Two-dimensional(2D)and three-dimensional(3D)images were obtained to evaluate the effects.Results All patients showed improvements in ear prominence.The cranioauricular angle(CAA)increased from 22.24°±4.53°to 65.90°±5.38°immediately post-injection and was maintained at 49.18°±4.74°6 months later.The ear projection(EP)increased from 14.75±2.72 mm to 26.26±2.94 mm immediately post-injection and was 22.51±2.68 mm after 6 months.No serious complications were noted.Conclusion HA injection in the auricular base effectively corrected the lying ears and aesthetically optimized the facial profile.It also had a face-lift effect that made the face look younger and more compact.The injection procedure was minimally invasive and required no recovery period.The effect was maintained for a long time and was satisfactory.

Perception of dental appearance and aesthetic analysis among patients,laypersons and dentists

BACKGROUND Current concepts of beauty are increasingly subjective,influenced by the viewpoints of others.The aim of the study was to evaluate divergences in the perception of dental appearance and smile esthetics among patients,laypersons and dental practitioners.The study goals were to evaluate the influence of age,sex,education and dental specialty on the participants’judgment and to identify the values of different esthetic criteria.Patients sample included 50 patients who responded to a dental appearance questionnaire(DAQ).Two frontal photographs were taken,one during a smile and one with retracted lips.Laypersons and dentists were asked to evaluate both photographs using a Linear Scale from(0-10),where 0 represent(absolutely unaesthetic)and 10 represent(absolutely aesthetic).One-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)and t-test analysis were measured for each group.Most patients in the sample expressed satisfaction with most aspects of their smiles and dental appearance.Among laypersons(including 488 participants),47 pictures“with lips”out of 50 had higher mean aesthetic scores compared to pictures“without lips”.Among the dentist sample,90 dentists’perception towards the esthetic smile and dental appearance for photos“with lips”and“without lips”were the same for 23 out of 50 patients.Perception of smile aesthetics differed between patients,laypersons and dentists.Several factors can contribute to shape the perception of smile aesthetic.AIM To compare the perception of dental aesthetic among patients,laypersons,and professional dentists,to evaluate the impact of age,sex,educational background,and income on the judgments made by laypersons,to assess the variations in experience,specialty,age,and sex on professional dentists’judgment,and to evaluate the role of lips,skin shade and tooth shade in different participants’judgments.METHODS Patients sample included 50 patients who responded to DAQ.Two frontal photographs were taken:one during a smile and one with retracted lips.Laypersons and dentists were asked to evaluate both photographs using a Linear Scale from(0-10),where 0 represent(absolutely unaesthetic)and 10 represent(absolutely aesthetic).One-way ANOVA and t-test analysis were measured for each group.RESULTS Most patients in the sample expressed satisfaction with most aspects of their smiles and dental appearance.Among laypersons(including 488 participants),47 pictures“with lips”out of 50 had higher mean aesthetic scores compared to pictures“without lips”.Whereas among the dentist sample,90 dentists’perception towards the esthetic smile and dental appearance for photos“with lips”and“without lips”were the same for 23 out of 50 patients.Perception of smile aesthetics differed between patients,laypersons and dentists.CONCLUSION Several factors can contribute to shape the perception of smile aesthetic.

Architectural Skyline Based on Traditional Architecture Aesthetics Perspective

Architectural skyline is an important part of urban landscape, also is the most direct expression of "first impression". However, with the development of the city, the shaping of the skyline that is contrary to the concept of aesthetics and the position of skyline in the urban form has been gradually ignored. Based on the interpretation of traditional architecture aesthetics theories, the paper introduced its rules as a guide into the development of city architectural skyline, analyzed and concluded the aesthetic characteristics of architectural skyline from the aspects of architectural form and naturalism. It provided theoretical guidance and method reference in the consideration of the creation and development on the city architectural skyline.

Cross-Modal Consistency with Aesthetic Similarity for Multimodal False Information Detection

With the explosive growth of false information on social media platforms, the automatic detection of multimodalfalse information has received increasing attention. Recent research has significantly contributed to multimodalinformation exchange and fusion, with many methods attempting to integrate unimodal features to generatemultimodal news representations. However, they still need to fully explore the hierarchical and complex semanticcorrelations between different modal contents, severely limiting their performance detecting multimodal falseinformation. This work proposes a two-stage detection framework for multimodal false information detection,called ASMFD, which is based on image aesthetic similarity to segment and explores the consistency andinconsistency features of images and texts. Specifically, we first use the Contrastive Language-Image Pre-training(CLIP) model to learn the relationship between text and images through label awareness and train an imageaesthetic attribute scorer using an aesthetic attribute dataset. Then, we calculate the aesthetic similarity betweenthe image and related images and use this similarity as a threshold to divide the multimodal correlation matrixinto consistency and inconsistencymatrices. Finally, the fusionmodule is designed to identify essential features fordetectingmultimodal false information. In extensive experiments on four datasets, the performance of the ASMFDis superior to state-of-the-art baseline methods.

Aesthetics-based Beauty of Artistic Conception of Chinese Ancient Floral Arrangement

Comparative Aesthetics of Chinese and Western Visual Poetry Based on the Multimodal Theories

Although the Chinese visual poetry and western visual poetry have a lot of differences,the similarity of visual poetry is the combination of poetry and painting.This research will apply the method of comparative analysis and multimodal theories,aiming to provide a new view to evaluate Chinese and western poetry,so as to promote the aesthetic experiences of Chinese and western culture for public.The research finds that Chinese and western poetry can be analyzed from the perspective of framework of visual-image analysis based on multimodal theories,which is composed of three major meanings:representation,interaction and composition.The comparative aesthetics based on the multimodal theories is of great significance to the appreciation and enjoyment of Chinese and western visual poetry.

A comprehensive review of lunar lava tube base construction and field research on a potential Earth test site

The Moon,as the closest celestial body to the Earth,plays a pivotal role in the progression of deep space exploration,and the establishment of research outposts on its surface represents a crucial step in this mission.Lunar lava tubes are special underground caves formed by volcanic eruptions and are considered as ideal natural shelters and scientific laboratories for lunar base construction.This paper begins with an in-depth overview of the geological origins,exploration history,and distribution locations of lunar lava tubes.Subsequently,it delves into the presentation of four distinctive advantages and typical concepts for constructing bases within lava tubes,summarizing the ground-based attempts made thus far in lunar lava tube base construction.Field studies conducted on a lava tube in Hainan revealed rock compositions similar to those found during the Apollo missions and clear lava tube structures,making it a promising analog site.Lastly,the challenges and opportunities encountered in the field of geotechnical engineering regarding the establishment of lunar lava tube bases are discussed,encompassing cave exploration technologies,in-situ testing methods,geomechanical properties under lunar extreme environments,base design and structural stability assessment,excavation and reinforcement techniques,and simulated Earth-based lava tube base.

Four Dimensions to Construct China＇s Modem Discourse of Aesthetics Based on China＇s Aesthetic Development in 20th Century

Contemporary Chinese scholars proposed that China should construct modem Chinese aesthetic discourse system, therefore, we should attach great importance to China＇s own aesthetic development in 20th century and learn experience from it. There are four dimensions of learning. First, we should seek the origin of methods from Marxism. Second, the study should deeply rooted in Chinese traditional culture. Third, we should refer to ancient and modem Western aesthetic theories. Last but not the least, all the scholars should be encouraged to express their views freely and equally. The four dimensions, which plays an important role in constructing China＇s modem discourse of aesthetics, derived from the conclusion and experience of China＇s modem aesthetic development in 20th century.

Translation of Images in Seven-character Quatrains Based on the “Aesthetic Level of Translation”

Image is a term that mainly embodies in the composition of classical Chinese poetry(CCP). Effective translation of images is crucial to the grasp of original meanings in a poem. As aesthetic beauty is the primary concern in poetry,the conveyance of beauty in image has a direct impact in translation. To analyze translation strategies of imagery beauty,the theory of"translation levels"by Xu Jun is adopted as a criterion in comparing variant English versions of CCP in the aesthetic level. Images are selected from Seven-character quatrains typified for abundant sources of images,and features of images are put forward at the aesthetic level. Through the analysis,images are rendered by recreation of the sensuous and emotional beauty.

Research on the Reading Comprehension and Aesthetic Experience of Poster Design Based on Gadamer’s Philosophy

Based on Gadamer’s philosophical viewpoint,the research scope starts from the domain of philosophical interpretation and extends to the field of poster design communication and aesthetics.In this paper,on the one hand,the author explains that art and beauty are basic ways of existence,and artistic experience surpasses the natural science method and is close to philosophical experience and historical experience;On the other hand,the paper clarifies and explains the understanding and being understood in poster design,as well as the understanding characteristics of aesthetic experience and artistic experience.While analyzing some hermeneutic phenomenon,this paper discusses the aesthetic function of art,and applies the combination of this function and aesthetic perception to the category of design.In consideration of the relationship between the two,this paper studies and discusses how to enhance the effect of poster design through effective methods,which would only deepen viewers’understanding of the work,but also enable viewers to enjoy the beauty of different degrees,so as to achieve the purpose of promoting information exchange and emotional communication,and further deepen the design connotation of the work.The communication function of poster design works needs to be realized in the application and appreciation,and its content expression needs to be realized in the subject understanding activities.Designers need to feel the unity of the meaning and form of the works in the poster design practice and experience,and explore the purpose and intention of the works of poster design in the aesthetic experience of art,thereupon then get the understanding of reality and the perception of the future of design,and then achieve the lofty pursuit of artistic aesthetics.

Imaging characteristics and treatment strategies for carotid artery occlusion caused by skull base fracture:Three case reports

BACKGROUND Traumatic internal carotid artery(ICA)occlusion is a rare complication of skull base fractures,characterized by high mortality and disability rates,and poor prognosis.Therefore,timely discovery and correct management are crucial for saving the lives of such patients and improving their prognosis.This article retrospectively analyzed the imaging and clinical data of three patients,to explore the imaging characteristics and treatment strategies for carotid artery occlusion,combined with severe skull base fractures.CASE SUMMARY This case included three patients,all male,aged 21,63,and 16 years.They underwent plain film skull computed tomography(CT)examination at the onset of their illnesses,which revealed fractures at the bases of their skulls.Ultimately,these cases were definitively diagnosed through CT angiography(CTA)examinations.The first patient did not receive surgical treatment,only anticoagulation therapy,and recovered smoothly with no residual limb dysfunction(Case 1).The other two patients both developed intracranial hypertension and underwent decompressive craniectomy.One of these patients had high intracranial pressure and significant brain swelling postoperatively,leading the family to choose to take him home(Case 2).The other patient also underwent decompressive craniectomy and recovered well postoperatively with only mild limb motor dysfunction(Case 3).We retrieved literature from PubMed on skull base fractures causing ICA occlusion to determine the imaging characteristics and treatment strategies for this type of disease.CONCLUSION For patients with cranial trauma combined with skull base fractures,it is essential to complete a CTA examination as soon as possible,to screen for blunt cerebrovascular injury.

An Exploration of Translation Strategies of Global Cosmetics Brands Based on Reception Aesthetics

With the advancement of economic globalization,the flow of commodities from one country to another has become closer and closer.Especially in recent years,the logistics industry has been developing rapidly,overseas purchasing agents and cross-border online shopping have been enormously prevailing,and accordingly more and more British and American cosmetics expect to occupy a place in the huge market of China.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the Chinese translation strategies for British and American cosmetic brands.Based on the theory of reception aesthetics,this thesis takes the corpus Estee Lauder,La mer,and other famous cosmetics brands.The thesis proposes several methods for translating cosmetic brands:transliteration for proper names like person or geography names;free translation to recreate brand aesthetics;creative translation for new brands;and adapted translation for divergence in language habits.Therefore,this thesis is of theoretical and practical significance as far as the field of cosmetics is concerned.

Meaning in Architecture and Landscape Architecture: Enhancement of Contemporary Design Practices Based on the Review of Postmodernism and Surrealism Aesthetic Philosophies

The study explored surrealist aesthetic philosophies in relation with referential postmodern architecture,and landscape architecture,to communicate meaning with the audience.These philosophies provide lessons about the potential of the built environment to address the emotional and psychological needs of the public,that is,to address the vital social,ecological,and functional needs of modern society.According to this,the purpose of the study was two-fold.The first is to analyze the visual techniques and forms that are used in referential postmodern architecture and landscape architecture in relation with surrealist aesthetic philosophies,to communicate meaning with the audience.Second is to demonstrate the relevance of these visual theories,to enhance contemporary design practices.The study emphasized the potential of art forms that provide meaning to address the physiological and spiritual needs of the society.Hence,it re-established landscape architecture as an art form capable of enriching human psychological and spiritual well-being,which is opposed to the conservative utilitarian natures of the field.
