The yardang landforms landscape is a composite structural system of patch-corridor-matrix, with four landscape unit elements as dense group, sparse group, single body and remnant. The study of the landscape aesthetics spatial pattern of Dunhuang Yardang National Geo-park shows that yardang dense group, sparse group and single body provide the greatest contribution to the aesthetic value of yardang landforms landscape. Yardang bodies are scarce, unique, irreplaceable, and priceless resources in yardang landforms areas. However, they are easily destroyed under the influence of the natural and artificial factors. Therefore, when the tourism potential of yardang landforms landscape is exploited, the protection should be fully improved.展开更多
In the era of cultural economy or aesthetic capitalism, the relationship between humanities and science has undergone great changes that include four aspects： （1） the humanities are compatible with and dependent on...In the era of cultural economy or aesthetic capitalism, the relationship between humanities and science has undergone great changes that include four aspects： （1） the humanities are compatible with and dependent on science rather than antagonism and conflict; （2） the content and form of humanities have so greatly changed that the new humanities discipline has appeared; （3） in contemporary scientific and cultural development pattern, new humanities have gradually become the principal discipline; （4） aesthetics and art gradually highlight its importance. Based on the thoughts of Karl Marx＇s Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844, this paper intends to discuss the essence and significances of the modernity problem in contemporary society. And then, it analyzes ＂how to think about the future＂ in the era of aesthetic capitalism or cultural economy. In the last part of the paper, several characteristics of the new humanities are studied from the perspective of contemporary aesthetics.展开更多

The paper presents means and models of city-landscape characteristic structure construction on the aspect of landscape aesthetics subjects, which is called the landscape characteristic aesthetic structure and in short...The paper presents means and models of city-landscape characteristic structure construction on the aspect of landscape aesthetics subjects, which is called the landscape characteristic aesthetic structure and in short as LCAS. In this paper, the steps of LCAS research are as follows： Describes the concepts of the landscape characteristic aesthetic structure （LCAS）, and expounds the LCAS properties： systematic quality, temporal and spatial quality, and virtual existence. Learns from typology research methods, discusses the elements and types needed in a landscape characteristic aesthetic system, and constructs research method for LCAS pattern. As for the temporal dimension, the dynamic evolution and interaction expressed in LCAS between the ＂tradition＂ and ＂modernity＂ landscapes conflict. As for the spatial dimension, this paper explores the LCAS patterns in macroscopic scope of city group, the middle scope of single cities and the microcosmic scope of urban spaces with questionnaires and examples research.展开更多
