According to the characteristics of agricultural informatization development in Gansu Province from 2001 to 2010,the evaluation indicator system for agricultural informatization development level is established for 20 indicators from 5 aspects,including information network construction,agricultural information technology application,agricultural information resources,agricultural information human resources,and agricultural informatization development environment. Indicator weight in indicator system is determined by analytic hierarchy process. Evaluation results of agricultural informatization development level in Gansu Province are obtained using weighted linear function. The difference of agricultural informatization development level is analyzed in different time periods in Gansu Province. According to the evaluation and analysis results,recommendations are put forward for promoting agricultural informatization development in Gansu Province. 展开更多

Agricultural information cooperative services (AICS) are now becoming an important aspect of agriculture informatization. This study offers an ontological conception of the agricultural production process, establishing operational divisions corresponding to both the stages and the fundamental information requirements of the dairy industry production process in China, yielding a process ontology for the dairy industry as well as a business chain model. A framework for a dairy industry information cooperative service system was established, with service functions realized in a prototype system. The resulting agricultural process ontology built on the basis of biological characteristics has advantages as a classification standard for agricultural information; whereas the business chain model based on this agricultural process ontology allows for an effective distribution of agricultural information cooperative services. This study outlines a concept and demonstrates a prototype of a cooperative service capable of integrating diverse online agricultural information relevant to the dairy industry in China. 展开更多

Soil is the basis of agricultural and forestry production,and it is of great significance to obtain soil information efficiently and comprehensively for soil management.Due to the complexity of soil organic components,it is difficult to obtain the information of soil organic components comprehensively by traditional chemical analysis method.As a non-destructive,real-time and high-throughput analysis method,mid infrared spectroscopy(MIR)has the ability to obtain soil organic environmental information efficiently and accurately.It can provide a large number of basic data for soil environmental monitoring,digital mapping,agricultural and forestry production,and help to realize the real-time monitoring of soil environment and the informatization of agriculture and forestry.In this paper,the detection process of MIR obtaining soil environmental spectral information and processing methods of spectral data were briefly introduced,and the research progress on extraction and influencing factors of mid infrared spectrum characteristics of soil in recent years was reviewed.Moreover,the significance and future development direction of soil science for the technology were discussed. 展开更多

Identifying the problem regions and regional problems, and thus improving regional policies, are crucial for the sustainable development of various economic entities. The coordinated development of industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization(hereinafter referred to as "Sihua") is not only a practical need but an important strategic direction of integrating urban-rural development and regional development in recent China, and it also provides a significant perspective for identifying problem regions and regional problems so as to improve the regional policies. This study mainly aims to: firstly, establish a comprehensive evaluation index system so as to explore the spatial pattern of coordinated development of Sihua in China at prefecture level; secondly, to develop an evaluation criteria system to identify the problem regions and regional problems from the perspective of coordinated development of Sihua. This paper comes first in the scientific community to evaluate the coordinated development state of Sihua in China at prefecture level and identify the problem regions and regional problems from the perspective of Sihua development by quantitative analysis. This study may benefit the improvement of regional policies and thus contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of China. 展开更多

China has obtained remarkable major achievements of agricultural and rural development in the past five years,such as advance in agricultural supply-side structural reform,breakthroughs in rural reform,headway in urban-rural integration development,improvement in rural public services and social undertakings,progress in poverty alleviation,a new level in agricultural trade.Specifically speaking,China is witnessing the following development in Information and Communication Technology(ICT)application in rural areas:Internet infrastructure is strengthened;E-commerce in rural areas is thriving;rural information service is upgraded;A solid progress has been made in Agricultural Internet of Things and rapid deployment of big-data technology.This paper summarizes the experiences gained in the development of agricultural and rural informatization in China.Based on this review,some suggestions were presented:Firstly,improving policy systems through innovation;secondly,strengthening ICT infrastructure;thirdly,giving full play to the primary role of market;fourthly,carrying out pilot demonstration and trainings.At the same time,the problems faced by rural e-commerce development were also pointed out. 展开更多
