This paper studies the magnetic hysteresis and refrigeration capacity of Ni-Mn-Ga alloys in detail during heating and cooling isothermal magnetisation processes. The Ni-Mn-Ga alloys show larger magnetic hysteresis when they trans-form from austenite to martensite, but smaller magnetic hysteresis when they transform from martensite to austenite. This behaviour is independent of either the pure Ni-Mn-Ga alloys or the alloys doped with other elements. Because of the existence of the magnetic hysteresis, the relation between the magnetic entropy change and refrigeration capacity is not simply linear. For practical consideration, magnetocaloric effect of Ni-Mn-Ga alloys should be investigated both on cooling and heating processes. 展开更多

A water loop variable refrigerant flow(WLVRF)air-conditioning system is designed to be applied in large-scale buildings in northern China.The system is energy saving and it is an integrated system consisting of a variable refrigerant flow(VRF)air-conditioning unit,a water loop and an air source heat pump.The water loop transports energy among different regions in the buildings instead of refrigerant pipes,decreasing the scale of the VRF air-conditioning unit and improving the performance.Previous models for refrigerants and building loads are cited in this investigation.Mathematical models of major equipment and other elements of the system are established using the lumped parameter method based on the DATAFIT software and the MATLAB software.The performance of the WLVRF system is simulated.The initial investments and the running costs are calculated based on the results of market research.Finally,a contrast is carried out between the WLVRF system and the traditional VRF system.The results show that the WLVRF system has a better working condition and lower running costs than the traditional VRF system. 展开更多

This paper presented an entropy evaluation method for the influences of condense heat recovery system on the environment.Aiming at the damage of the condense heat to the environment,an entropy of resource loss and an emission entropy from the condense heat recovery system in the air conditioning refrigerating machine were introduced.For the evaluation of the entropies,we developed a new algorithm for the parameter identification,called the composite influence coefficient,based on the Least Squares Support Vector Machine method.By simulation,the numerical experiments shows that the Least Squares Support Vector Machine method is one of the powerful methods for the parameter identification to compute the damage entropy of the condense heat,with the largest training error being-0.025(the relative error being-3.56%),and the biggest test error being 0.015(the relative error being 2.5%). 展开更多

The Gd6Col.67Si2.5Geo.5 undergoes a reversible second-order phase transition at the Curie temperature Tc = 296 K. The high saturation magnetization leads to a large ASM and the maximal value of △SM is found to be 5.9 J/kg. K around TC for a field change of 0-5 T. A broad distribution of the △SM peak is observed and the full width at half maximum of the △SM peak is about 101 K under a magnetic field of 5 T. The evaporative cooling,which assists the refrigeration machinery air-conditioning systems test-rig,has been designed.Its structure and working principle were described,and the performance test was conducted and analyzed.The test shows that making full use of the evaporative cooling "free cooling" in Spring and Autumn seasons can fully meet the requirements of air-conditioned comfort through the switch of the function in different seasons.Taking into account the evaporative cooling fan and pump energy consumption,compared with the traditional mechanical refrigeration system,more than 80 percent of energy can be saved,and the energy efficiency ratio of the Unit(EER)is as high as 7.63.Using the two stages of indirect evaporative cooling to pre-cool the new wind in summer,under the conditions of the same air supply temperature requirements,0.83 kg/s chilled water saved can be equivalent to the traditional mechanical refrigeration system,and when the new wind ratio up to 50 percent,more than 10 percent load was reduced in mechanical refrigeration system.The overall EER increased about 35 percent. 展开更多

The performances of a refrigeration unit relying on compressors working in parallel have been investigated considering the influence of the compressor volumetric efficiency and isentropic efficiency on the compression ratio.Moreover,the following influential factors have been taken into account:evaporation temperature,condensation temperature and compressor suction-exhaust pressure ratio for different opening conditions of the compressor.The following quantities have been selected as the unit performance measurement indicators:refrigeration capacity,energy efficiency ratio(COP),compressor power consumption,and refrigerant flow rate.The experimental results indicate that the system refrigeration capacity and COP decrease with a decrease in evaporation temperature,increase of condensation temperature,and increase in pressure ratio.The refrigerant flow rate increases with the increase in evaporation temperature,decrease in condensing temperature and increase in pressure ratio.The compressor power consumption increases with the increase in condensing temperature and increase in pressure ratio,but is not significantly affected by the evaporation temperature. 展开更多

A new metal-organic framework of MIL-101 was synthesized by hydrothermal method and the powder prepared was pressed into a desired shape. The effects of molding on specific surface area and pore structure were investigated using a nitrogen adsorption method. The water adsorption isotherms were obtained by high vacuum gravimetric method, the desorption temperature of water on shaped MIL-101 was measured by thermo gravimetric analyzer, and the adsorption refrigeration performance of shaped MIL-101-water working pair was studied on the simulation device of adsorption refrigeration cycle system. The results indicate that an apparent hysteresis loop ap-pears in the nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms when the forming pressure is 10 MPa. The equilibrium ad-sorption capacity of water is up to 0.95 kg·kg^-1 at the forming pressure of 3 MPa (MIL-101-3). The desorption peak temperature of water on MIL-101-3 is 82℃, which is 7 ℃ lower than that of silica gel, and the desorption temperature is no more than 100 ℃. At the evaporation temperature of 10 ℃, the refrigeration capacity of MIL-101-3-water is 1059 kJ·kg^-1, which is 2.24 times higher than that of silica gel-water working pair. Thus MIL-101-water working pair presents an excellent adsorption refrigeration performance. 展开更多

Two building factors-a longer thermal lag of more than one hour for building envelops and a lag of indoor radiation to convert into cooling load-have impact on the instantaneous heat input and instantaneous cooling load.So the two factors should be taken into account when selecting the weather parameters for air-conditioning system design.This paper developed a new statistic method for the rational selection of coincident solar irradiance,dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures.The method was applied to historic weather records of 25 years in Hong Kong to generate coincident design weather data.And the results show that traditional design solar irradiance,dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures may be significantly overestimated in many conditions,and the design weather data for the three different constructions is not kept constant. 展开更多

磁制冷因高效、环保、结构简单等特点,正有望成为替代传统蒸气制冷的新型室温制冷技术之一.当前针对单一影响因子对磁制冷样机的影响作用规律研究较为丰富,但对磁场-流场时序中流动时间占比工况的研究较少,且影响规律尚不明晰.本文以前... 磁制冷因高效、环保、结构简单等特点,正有望成为替代传统蒸气制冷的新型室温制冷技术之一.当前针对单一影响因子对磁制冷样机的影响作用规律研究较为丰富,但对磁场-流场时序中流动时间占比工况的研究较少,且影响规律尚不明晰.本文以前期研制的紧凑型室温磁制冷系统为基础,在固定的磁场时序情况下开展不同流动时间占比的实验研究,探索制冷温跨、制冷量、压降及性能系数与流动时间占比之间的关联.以磁场时序1:4:1:4与频率0.45 Hz的工况为例,开展了固定磁场时序的不同流动时间占比(100%,80%,60%)的实验研究.结果表明:1)小利用系数和高流动时间的组合可获得较大温跨,大利用系数和高流动时间占比的组合可获得较大冷量,其中当利用系数为0.42、流动时间占比为100%时,获得最大无负荷制冷温跨26.2 K;2)对比研究了利用系数与流动时间占比对回热器压降及性能系数的影响,流动时间占比的增大和利用系数的减小均会造成流体速度的减小,会使压降进一步减小,性能系数进一步增大.本研究阐明了制冷温跨、制冷量、压降及性能系数与流动时间占比之间的影响规律,为进一步提升室温磁制冷机的性能奠定基础. 展开更多

建立了双蒸发温度空调系统仿真模型来研究改变换热器面积对系统性能的影响。搭建了双蒸发温度空调系统实验台,在实验工况下改变压缩机频率(30~120 Hz)和送风量(400~1 000 m^(3)/h),得到空调机组总制冷量Q_(c)、总显热制冷量Q_(s)和显热... 建立了双蒸发温度空调系统仿真模型来研究改变换热器面积对系统性能的影响。搭建了双蒸发温度空调系统实验台,在实验工况下改变压缩机频率(30~120 Hz)和送风量(400~1 000 m^(3)/h),得到空调机组总制冷量Q_(c)、总显热制冷量Q_(s)和显热比SHR,验证了所建模型精度。在模型中改变换热器面积(48盘管、60盘管、72盘管)进行系统运行调节范围的研究。结果表明:随着换热器面积的增加,系统Q_(c)、Q_(s)和SHR的调节范围在整体扩大,最大增幅分别为5.0%、13.8%、11.8%。当送风量为1 000 m^(3)/h,压缩机频率为30 Hz,换热器面积从48盘管增至60盘管、72盘管时,Q_(s)的增幅分别为9.8%和13.8%,表明换热器面积增至60盘管时Q_(s)增长效果显著,再增加换热器面积,Q_(s)虽有所增大但增幅放缓。最后提出一种以所需制冷量为目标,依据环境温湿度调节范围设计换热器面积的方法。 展开更多

辐射供冷空调系统具有节能和舒适的优点,但结露问题限制其应用推广。在冷板外加红外高透膜,可以在升高红外高透膜与室内空气接触面温度的同时,保证空调系统的辐射制冷量,达到降低辐射空调结露的风险。构建了红外透射膜辐射制冷的传热模... 辐射供冷空调系统具有节能和舒适的优点,但结露问题限制其应用推广。在冷板外加红外高透膜,可以在升高红外高透膜与室内空气接触面温度的同时,保证空调系统的辐射制冷量,达到降低辐射空调结露的风险。构建了红外透射膜辐射制冷的传热模型,计算了高透膜红外透过率对露点温度及辐射冷量的影响,预测了不同气候区典型城市自然通风防结露的最小透过率及相应最大制冷量,从而评估不同气候区辐射制冷利用红外透射膜的潜力,最后评估了高透膜红外透过率对人体热舒适性的影响。研究结果表明:建立的辐射热传递模型可以准确预测室内膜面传热过程;在保证辐射冷量的前提下,透射膜可以提高不凝水露点温度阈值4~17℃;不同城市要求的最小透过率不同,呼和浩特最低为0.4,重庆最高为0.95。红外透射膜可作为一种新型方法用于辐射空调冷源壁面的防结露,研究可为透射膜的设计及选择提供参考。 展开更多

Er_(20)Ho_(20)Dy_(20)Cu_(20)Ni_(20)high-entropy metallic glass exhibited excellent magnetic refrigeration material with a wide temperature range and high refrigeration capacity(RC)was reported.Er_(20)Ho_(20)Dy_(20)Cu_(20)Ni_(20)high-entropy metallic glass was observed with typical spin glass behavior around 15.5 K.In addition,we find that the magnetic entropy change(-△S_(M))originates from the sample undergoing a ferromagnetic(FM)to paramagnetic(PM)transition around 20 K.Under a field change from 0 T to 7 T,the value of maximum magnetic entropy change(-△S_(M)^(max))reaches 12.5 J/kg·K,and the corresponding value of RC reaches 487.7 J/kg in the temperature range from 6 K to 60 K.The large RC and wide temperature range make the Er_(20)Ho_(20)Dy_(20)Cu_(20)Ni_(20)high-entropy metallic glass be a promising material for application in magnetic refrigerators. 展开更多

为了提高冰场跨临界CO_(2)制冷系统的实际运行性能,搭建了跨临界CO_(2)制冰系统试验台,研究了在不同节流阀开度和高压压力下,充注量对系统性能的影响。结果表明:在充注量一定时,节流阀对蒸发器出口干度与过热度的调节能力有限;合适的充... 为了提高冰场跨临界CO_(2)制冷系统的实际运行性能,搭建了跨临界CO_(2)制冰系统试验台,研究了在不同节流阀开度和高压压力下,充注量对系统性能的影响。结果表明:在充注量一定时,节流阀对蒸发器出口干度与过热度的调节能力有限;合适的充注量使得蒸发器出口制冷剂状态处于饱和态附近,不会出现大幅过热现象;随着充注量的增加,系统的质量流量显著增加,压缩机等熵效率略有下降,充注量每增加0.4 kg,系统质量流量增加约23 kg/h,压缩机等熵效率下降约1.1%;3种充注量下,系统均存在最优高压压力和COP,最优高压压力范围为7.9~8.3 MPa,最优COP范围为1.34~1.75;充注量为4.0 kg时的系统性能最优,在最优高压压力下,制冷量为6.5 kW,COP为1.75,稳定冰面温度为-16.5℃,制冰时间为135 min;相对于3.6 kg和4.4 kg充注量,充注量为4.0 kg的制冷量分别提高了38.3%和8.3%,最优COP分别提高了30.6%和21.5%,制冰时间节省了10.0%~15.6%。研究结果可为CO_(2)制冰系统运行与维护提供参考。 展开更多
