These microencapsulated disperse dyes was extracted respectively by ethanol under certain conditions. The controlled-release properties of disperse dyes through the shell of microcapsules were measured by spectrophotometer. According to the results, it was drawn that the type of disperse dyes, the auxiliaries contained in disperse dyes, the quantity of system controlling medium used and the core/shell ratio of microcapsules play important roles in controlling the release properties of microcapsules. The different controlled- release properties of microcapsules, which were prepared under given conditions, however, would in turn influence the performance of microcapsules in multiple-transfer printing. 展开更多

The role of auxiliary LAB as vehicle in dyeing polyester/wool blends with disperse dyes is described. Dye exhaustion and bonding on polyester/wool samples are studied under different experimental conditions - the LAB amount, the temperature and pH value- to achieve optimum conditions. The results are compared with those obtained with and without conventional dyeing auxiliary products. Although dye exhaustion is higher in the presence of commercial carriers, the dye bonded increases markedly in the presence of auxiliary LAB in both fibers. The role played by auxiliary LAB in polyester/wool blend dyeing can provide a new method for this process. 展开更多

Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to identify Lhe structure of the polymeric dye, indicating an obvious carbonyl stretching absorption in disperse blue 14. The polymer was also characterized by the analysis of DSC, TGA, WAXD and UV-Vis spectroscopy. 展开更多

There is a powerful market-need for superfast disperse dyes in special use, e.g. for automotivefabrics. The photochemical fading reactions of dyes are often very complicated, and no singlphotodegradation pathway can be involved for all kinds of dyes. To enhance the photostability of the commonly used disperse dyes, a series of tests on the ef-fect of variable stabilizers on the photodegradation rate of nine representative disperse dyes werecarried out both in ethyl acetate solution and on cellulose acetate film. A moderate light sourceemitting above 300 nm was adopted in this study to simulate the photofading under practical appli-cations. The results show that, in solution, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-piperidine is the most effectivegeneral stabilizer for all the tested dyes, but on cellulose film, nickel diethyl-dithiocarbamateshows the greatest general protecting effect, and a synergistic effect is observed for special combina-tions of stabilizers. 展开更多

And then a mathematical indexbased on them is established. The evaluation to dispersedyes resulting from it corresponds with their perfor-mance during industrial process. Microcapsules containing disperse dyes were prepared by means of in-situ polymerization. Polyester fabrics were multiple-transfer printed and color-mix printed using those microencapsulated dyes under different process conditions. By color measurement instrument, it can be seen that the times of multiple-transfer printing are up to ten while under appropriate conditions, especially when the transfer printing time is 50 seconds and the transfer printing temperature is 180°C. On the other hand, the K/S value of each transfer printing can keep almost constant. Meanwhile, the visual effect of color- mix printing with microencapsulated disperse dyes is special in the varicolored exhibiting if compared with conventional disperse dyes. 展开更多

In this paper, immobilized laccase enzyme on nano zinc ferrite was used in order to decolorize disperse dyes from single and binary systems. In this case, disperse dyes such as Disperse red 60 (DR60), Disperse blue 56 (DB56) and Disperse yellow 54 (DY54) were selected as model dyes. Several parameters such as enzyme concentration, pH and dye concentration and their effect on decolorization of dyes from single and binary systems were studied. According to the experimental results, the optimized immobilized laccase enzyme concentration, reaction time and pH for decolorization of DR60, DB56 and DY54 from single and binary systems were 500 mg/L (for DR60 and DY54) and 400 mg/L (for DB56), 20 min and 3, respectively. Moreover, Dye decolorization kinetics followed Michaelis-Menten Model. Finally, the results showed that enzymatic process using immobilized laccase enzyme on nano zinc ferrite was effective method to decolorize disperse dyes from single and binary systems. 展开更多

For a better understanding of the feasibility of supercritieal fluid dyeing (SFD) and more available information for the process development, the experiments of dyeing PET textile with C.I. disperse red 60 (anthraquinone type) and C. I. disperse orange 25 (azo type) in supercritieal CO2 were carried out with a high-pressure dyeing apparatus at temperatures from 80 to 130℃ and pressure up to 31 MPa. The effect of operating conditions on color yield (K/S) was investigated in SFD experiment, and the optimum operating conditions for the above two disperse dyes were obtained as follows: the temperature 120℃, the pressure 25 MPa and the dyeing time 100 min. As compared with SFD, the conventional water dyeing (CWD) was carried out with the same dyes and textile. The results show that the better fastness, levelness and apparent color can be achieved in SFD and the SFD process has many significant advantages over the CWD process. 展开更多

Disperse orange 76, on two kinds of PU fibers at 90℃ were measured respectively. It was found that these adsorption isotherms followed a dual model, Nernst and Langmuir. Based on the parameters obtained in studying, the relationship between the chemical structure of dyes and their adsorption behaviors was arialyzed. Through the measurement of washing fastness of dyed sample with two dye concentrations, 1% (o.w. f) and 3% (o. w. f), it was found that the pale shade dyeing possessed better wet-fastness than the dark. This phenomenon confirmed further that the disperse dyes were sorbed on the PU fiber by langmuir sorption and the partition mechanism. 展开更多

The synthesis of a series of 3-(p-substituted phenylazo)-6-pyridone dyes which is suitable for the dyeing of polyester fabrics, is described. Visible absorption spectra of the dyes were examined in various solvents and the compounds in solution exhibited hydrazone-common anion equilibrium. The electronic absorption spectra cover a λmax range of 404 - 464 nm in DMF at uniformly high absorption intensity between 5.33 × 104 - 8.55 × 104 lmol–1cm–1 and gave bright intense hues of yellow to orange on polyester fabrics. The colour parameters of the dyed fabrics were measured and the dyes have excellent exhaustion between 72% - 79% for polyester fabrics, more intense and of very good fastness properties on polyester fabrics. The remarkable degree of levelness and brightness after washing is indicative of good penetration and excellent affinity of these dyes for the polyester fabric. 展开更多

Ionizing radiation is a promising method for dye degradation or textile coloration using commercial azo dyes and small molecular weight organic dyes. Thus, the stability of the molecular structure of an azo dye is important under ionizing radiation. Disperse Blue 79, as an example azo dyes, was irradiated with gamma rays or electron beam (EB) to investigate the radiation-induced effects on the molecular structure. Ultraviolet visible spectroscopy (UV Vis), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra analysis, and mass spectrometry (MS) studies indicated that acetoxy and methoxyl were easily cleaved on the irradiation of the aqueous dye solution but retained a stable structure on the irradiation of the powder form. Gamma rays and EB showed similar effects on the decomposition process. Chromaticity changes using the Lab* method showed that the dye turned to dark yellow and the value of b* of the irradiated dyes increased with the increasing absorbed dose, which indicated that Disperse Blue 79 could be partly decomposed in an aqueous solution This work was nancially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Nos. 11875313, 11605274, and 11575277).
