The present research shows that the accurate pole figure can be drawn up without measuring concretely the intensity. For directional Si steel sheet the measuring step may be 4~5 degrees. The transport of fluid, nutrients, and signaling molecules in the bone lacunar-canalicular system (LCS) is critical for osteocyte survival and function. We have applied the fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP) approach to quantify load-induced fluid and solute transport in the LCS in situ, but the measurements were limited to cortical regions 30-50 μm underneath the periosteum due to the constrains of laser penetration. With this work, we aimed to expand our understanding of load-induced fluid and solute transport in both trabecular and cortical bone using a multiscaled image-based finite element analysis (FEA) approach. An intact murine tibia was first re-constructed from microCT images into a three-dimensional (3D) linear elastic FEA model, and the matrix deformations at various locations were calculated under axial loading. A segment of the above 3D model was then imported to the biphasic poroelasticity analysis platform (FEBio) to predict load-induced fluid pressure fields, and interstitial solute/fluid flows through LCS in both cortical and trabecular regions. Further, secondary flow effects such as the shear stress and/or drag force acting on osteocytes, the presumed mechano-sensors in bone, were derived using the previously developed ultrastructural model of Brinkman flow in the canaliculi. The material properties assumed in the FEA models were validated against previously obtained strain and FRAP transport data measured on the cortical cortex. Our results demonstrated the feasibility of this computational approach in estimating the fluid flux in the LCS and the cellular stimulation forces (shear and drag forces) for osteocytes in any cortical and trabecular bone locations, allowing further studies of how the activation of osteocytes correlates with in vivo functional bone formation. The study provides a promising platform to reveal potential cellular mechanisms underlying the anabolic power of exercises and physical activities in treating patients with skeletal deficiencies. 展开更多

The influence, on the deposit microstructural features, of process parameters like the atomization gas pressure, the pouring tube orifice diameter, the geometrical features of the atomization device,the potency of , pre-existing or injected as reinforcement, nucleation sites, the wetting angle between the liquid melt bnd impurity particles acting as preferred nucleation sites, the in-flight distance of the solidifying droplets in the atomization chamber, i5 evaluated. The objec tive of this procedure is to develop a method for more sensitive detection of th e incipient faults and locating the faults in the gear. The main idea of the sin gle gear tooth analysis is that the vibration signals collected with a high samp ling rate are divided into a number of segments with the same time interval. The number of signal segments is equal to that of the gear teeth. The analysis of i ndividual segments reveals more sensitively the changes of the vibration signals in both time and frequency domain caused by gear faults. In addition, the locat ion of a failed tooth can be indicated in terms of the position of the segment t hat deviates from the normal segments. For a few years it has been realized that nanocrystalline phases can be formed during crystallization of amorphous alloys annealed isothermally below the crystallization temperature of usual heating experiments. Data of this transformation monitored by the measurement of magnetic susceptibility are presented. A method using a magnetic balance with electronic stabilisation and combined computer facilities is applied. Constant heating and cooling rates as well as isothermal heat treatments are used. Magnetic measurements are able to detect the onset of the transformation of amorphous NI-P alloys much earlier than was possible with differential scanning calorimetry. The transformation kinetics can be analyzed by means of the Avrami plot based on the Johnson-Mehl-Avrami equation. The kinetics of solid state reactions in the nanostructured material can be investigated similarly. Formation of a Ni-phase in a nanostructured Hf-Ni alloy could be detected in a very early stage, where calorimetric methods are not sensitive. Segregation phenomena could be detected from the experiments even after long time. The sensitivity of the applied method is not dependent on the heating rate as the sensitivity of scanning calorimetry is. 展开更多

Osteoporosis is a prevalent multifactorial bone disease with a strong genetic contribution.The heritability of traits that contribute to osteoporosis(bone mass,bone mineral density(BMD),bone size,bone loss and fractures)ranges from 50 to 85%,suggesting that a comprehensive understanding of the genetic basis may help identify new therapeutic targets.1 However,the genetic characteristics remain obscure,and the existing drug targets are associated with various challenges.Numerous studies have demonstrated that high-throughput sequencing data analysis is fruitful for identifying novel targets of human diseases.2 We therefore integrated GWAS and transcriptome analyses through Multi-marker Analysis of GenoMic Annotation(MAGMA)and weighted gene co-expression network analysis3(WGCNA)to identify new network modules and potential therapeutic genes for osteoporosis.As an illustration,the flow chart presenting the process of the present study was shown in Figure S1. 展开更多

区域创新生态系统如何增强经济韧性?——基于NCA和fsQCA的分析

在百年未有之大变局下,经济发展可持续性遭遇挑战,增强经济韧性成为区域经济发展的重要着力点。区域创新生态系统建设对于增强经济韧性具有重要作用。以TOE框架为基础建构了区域创新生态系统的测度指标体系,并提出了区域创新生态系统增... 在百年未有之大变局下,经济发展可持续性遭遇挑战,增强经济韧性成为区域经济发展的重要着力点。区域创新生态系统建设对于增强经济韧性具有重要作用。以TOE框架为基础建构了区域创新生态系统的测度指标体系,并提出了区域创新生态系统增强经济韧性的理论架构。以中国30个省(区、市)为案例样本,通过NCA和fsQCA分析发现:第一,区域创新生态系统的条件因素对增强经济韧性都非常重要,但单一因素不构成高水平经济韧性的显著性必要条件;第二,区域创新生态系统增强经济韧性有传统型技术创新驱动和现代型技术创新驱动两条路径;第三,创新生态系统构成要素的整体性缺失是一个区域出现低水平经济韧性的主要原因,较高水平的财务资源和创新主体投入也不足以突破低水平创新环境和人力资源不足带来的瓶颈性约束;第四,人力资源是各区域实现强经济韧性的核心条件,东部和中西部地区增强经济韧性的路径差异体现在前者更多强调开放环境建设,而后者更为重视知识创新主体建设。研究成果为发展区域创新生态系统理论和经济韧性理论做出了贡献,能够为地方政府优化区域创新生态系统和增强经济韧性提供启示。 展开更多
