It is found that the true stress-true strain curves exhibit peak stress at a small strain, and the peak stress increases with the increase of initial δ phase. After the peak stress, initial δ phase promotes the dynamic softening behaviors, resulting in the decreased flow stress. An improved Arrhenius constitutive model is proposed to consider the synthetical effects of initial δ phase, deformation temperature, strain rate, and strain on hot deformation behaviors. In the improved model, material constants are expressed as the functions of the content of initial δ phase and strain. A good agreement between the predicted and measured results indicates that the improved Arrhenius constitutive model can well describe hot deformation behaviors of the studied Ni-based superalloy.展开更多

The homogenized ingot alloy and the as-cast strip casting(SC) alloy with a uniform RE-rich grain boundary phase lead to high anisotropy of the refined powders, acquiring degrees of alignment(DOA) of 0.62 and 0.54, respectively. The RE-rich phase aggregation results in a deteriorated DOA of the powders due to the drastic disproportionation rate, while a thin and uniform RE-rich phase distribution is beneficial for DOA. A reaction model of the initial particle microstructure is proposed for optimizing the HDDR powder anisotropy.展开更多

A modified density of modes is introduced to calculate the spontaneous emission spectra in photonic crystal. Spectra in free space are also shown to compare with that in photonic crystal with different relative positions of the excited levels from upper band-edge frequency. It is found that the initial phase difference plays an important role in the quantum interference property between the two decay channels. For a zero initial phase, destructive property is presented in the spectra. With the increase of initial phase difference, quantum interference between the two decay channels from upper levels to ground level turns to be constructive. Furthermore, we give an interpretation for the property of these spectra.展开更多

She had been treated with topical adapalene once daily, and closed and open comedo subsided without inflammatory lesions one month after the treatment without any side effects induced by adapalen. The recurrence of comedo had not been observed afterwards. In the Japanese Dermatological Association (JDA) guidelines for the treatment of acne vulgaris, comedonal phase has not been stated. Then we propose the tentative new terminology of a comedonal phase and emphasize its importance in the early initial treatment for comedo to prevent the development of the acute inflammatory phase such as red papules and pustules and formation of acne scars.展开更多

The dispersion equation of the phase velocity has been derived. It has been found that the phase velocity of Love wave is considerably influenced by the rigid boundary, inhomogeneity and the initial stress present in the half space. The velocity of Love waves have been calculated numerically as a function of KH (where K is a wave number H is a thickness of the layer) and are presented in a number of graphs.展开更多

The dispersion equation of phase velocity is derived. The velocities of Love waves are calculated numerically as a function of kH and presented in a number of graphs, where k is the wave number, and H is the thickness of the layer. The case of Gibson's half-space is also considered. It is observed that the speed of Love waves is finite in the vicinity of the surface of the half-space and vanishes as the depth increases for a particular wave number. It is also observed that an increase in compressive initial stresses causes decreases of Love waves velocity for the same frequency, and the tensile initial stress of small magnitude in the half-space causes increase of the velocity.展开更多

The relation between the initial permeability and the microstructure of the annealed alloy has been discussed. The crystalline phase in annealed Fe73.5 Cu1 W3Si13.5B9 alloy is the α-Fe(Si) phase with DO3 superstructure. The volume fraction, Si content and degree of order of the αFe(Si) phase increase with increasing annealing temperature. In the temperature range of 490-570℃, the α-Fe(Si) phase has a size of 13 nm, and its grain number increases as the annealing temperature is increased. The DO3 ordered region in the α-Fe(Si) grain is spherical approximately, and its size increases as the annealing temperature increases. The size of the DO3 ordered region is 12.8 nm at the temperature of 570℃,which is close to that of the α-Fe(Si) grain. There is obvious change in the structure of the residual amorphous phase during annealing, and the nearest atomic distance and the short-range order of residual amorphous phase reach maximum and minimum at 530℃, respectively. The initial permeability of annealed Fe73.5 Cu1 W3Si13.5 B9 alloy is not only dependent on the size, volume fraction and Si content of the α-Fe(Si) phase but also related to the structure state of the residual amorphous phase.展开更多

We have proved that the accuracy of this finite-difference scheme is 2M when we use 2nd order time domain finite-difference and 2M-th order space domain finite-difference. It also has been shown that the dispersion curves of Love waves are less dispersed for higher order FDM than of lower order FDM. The effect of initial stress, porosity and anisotropy of the layer in the propagation of Love waves has been studied here. The numerical results have been shown graphically.
