A Contrastive Genre Analysis of Chinese and American University Admission Brochures

This study mainly uses the move and step analysis to conduct a contrastive genre analysis on the selected 20 Chinese ad-mission brochures(CABs) and 20 American admission brochures(AABs).Differences in moves,move sequences and step arrange-ments have revealed themselves in this comparison.Firstly,Chinese university admission brochures cast more focus on basic infor-mation about the university,the application procedure and admission criteria,while American universities,besides offering such in-formation,also emphasize the promotional function of the admission brochures.They use appealing and creative moves to commer-cially‘sell'advantages of the university to the potential applicants.Secondly,based on Kress & van Leeuwen's visual grammarsymbolic meaning,images and colors in admission brochures are also explored and analyzed as language.For one thing,after count-ing the frequency of the four categories of images,namely portrait,campus scenery,campus life pictures and graphs,it is foundthat,compared with CABs,AABs have a highly more obvious tendency in using images.The images are used as an effective tool toincrease the sense of credibility,identity-recognition,attract reader's attention,and help understanding,making the facts and in-formation more intuitive.For another thing,the main colors used in the brochures are yet another noticeable feature.Especially inAmerican brochures,universities tend to use their‘traditional colors' in the brochure to achieve a sense of consistency.Some Chi-nese brochures also follow this promotional strategy,yet a large percentage of them do not use any recognizable colors other thanthe printed black and white.Based on these differences,suggestions are put forward from perspectives including choice of movesand steps to improve the quality of CABs,hopefully raising their acceptance in the international level.

Application of Integration of Spatial Statistical Analysis with GIS to Regional Economic Analysis

This paper summarizes a few spatial statistical analysis methods for to measuring spatial autocorrelation and spatial association, discusses the criteria for the identification of spatial association by the use of global Moran Coefficient, Local Moran and Local Geary. Furthermore, a user-friendly statistical module, combining spatial statistical analysis methods with GIS visual techniques, is developed in Arcview using Avenue. An example is also given to show the usefulness of this module in identifying and quantifying the underlying spatial association patterns between economic units.

WAVELET-BASED ANALYSIS OF CEREBROVASCULAR DYNAMICS IN NEWBORN RATS WITH INTRACRANIAL HEMORRHAGES

Intracranial hemorrhage(I)is a major problem of neonatal intensive care.The incidence of Iistypically asymptomatic and'canmot be effectively detected by standard diagnostic methods.The mechanisms underlying IH are unknown but there is evidence that stress-induced disorders inadrenergic regulation of cerebral venous blood flow (CVBF) are among the main reasons.Quantitative and qualitative:could significantly advance understanding ofthe nature of I in newbornslth1sions of CVBF in newborn rats withan experimental model of stinjection.Our analysis is bas ed on theDoppler optical coheavelet-based approachthat provides sensitiv external factors.Theobtained resultsccompanied by asupprectivity to adrenaline.Weintroducd show that the values0<1.23 estimated ithelodinto the sympathicusindicate abnormal reactions associated with the developent of I.We conclude that t he revealed areactivity of the cerebral veins to adrenaline represents a possible mechanism responsible forpat hological changes in CVBF.

SWOT Analysis of Industrial Development of Double-low Rapeseed in Hubei Province

Based on SWOT analysis method,this paper conducts analysis on the industrial development environment of double-low rapeseed in Hubei Province from the following four aspects,in order to crystallize its resources advantage and disadvantage and make it know the opportunities and challenges that it is faced by.First,advantage analysis:excellent geographic conditions,vigorous government support,powerful scientific research force,sound industrial system support;second,disadvantage analysis:poor quality,low-level fine and deep processing,scant publicity and promotion,lagged infrastructure conditions,shortage of effective market access mechanism and sound industry regulation,no brand effect;opportunity analysis:the opportunities brought by low-carbon economy,the opportunities brought by consumers' preference,the opportunities brought by policy environment,the opportunities brought by establishment of strategic union;threat analysis:fierce external competition,continuous decline of comparative benefit.The results of research show that in order to promote industrial development of double-low rapeseed in Hubei Province,we should implement brand effect strategy,quality management strategy and strategy of deepening industrial system,give full play to existing geographic advantage and other advantages,grasp scarce opportunities and actively confront challenges.

Comparative Analysis of the Utilization Efficiency of Major Agricultural Resources in Hebei Province

The utilization efficiency of resources is one of the important factors affecting the development of modern agriculture. Using production function method and ratio analysis method,we carry out the horizontal comparison of the utilization efficiency of major agricultural resources such as arable land,agricultural machinery power and chemical fertilizer in Hebei Province and the national level,and the vertical comparison of the utilization efficiency of major agricultural resources between the prefecture-level cities in the province. The results show that the utilization efficiency of agricultural resources in Hebei Province is below the national average,and there are significant differences in the utilization efficiency of agricultural resources between the prefecture-level cities in the province.

Agricultural Eco-efficiency Evaluation in Anhui Province: An Empirical Analysis Based on DEA Method

According to the eco-efficiency theory, combined with agricultural production characteristics, I point out the environmental impact and substance energy consumption characteristics of agricultural production. Based on this, I establish the eco-efficiency evaluation indicator system for agricultural production, and conduct a comprehensive analysis on the agricultural eco-efficiency of 17 prefecture-level cities in Anhui Province, using data envelopment analysis method.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYS IS AND OPTIMUM DESIGN FOR THE FRONT－FUSELAGE WITH SANDWICH CONSTRUCTIONS

AbstractFinite element analysis and optimization subject to stress, displacement and side con-straints for composite sandwich structures are mainly treated. The square isoparametricsandwich plate / shell elements are used to perform structural analysis. The thickness ofthe faceplates and the depth of the core are taken as design variables in optimization pro-cess. The number of layers for each laminate is also taken as design variables if the compo-site faceplates are used. A few widely applied approximation concepts, such as design vari-able linking, regionalization method and temporary deletion technique of passive con-straints are employed to reduce the number of both design variables and constraints. Theadvanced hybrid approximation techniques combining with dual solutions are cmployed inoptimization. The corresponding software is applied to the analysis of experimental modeland to the optimum design for the composite sandwich front-fuselage, and satisfactory re-sults are obtained.

Observing Intratissuelar Distribution of Polysorbate 80 Coated Nanoparticles in Brain with Analytical Electron Microscopy

The analyical electron microscopy （AEM） was employed to observe the intratissuelar distribution of polysorbate 80 coated nanoparticles in brain with copper chlorophyll （CC）.and a safe and cheap pigment was used as a marker,AEM analyses show that some nanoparticles are located at the wall of the nicrovasculum in brain,while others are distributed around the nicrovasculum in brain ,These results may support that T-80 coated nanoparticles cross the BBB through mechanisms of endocytosis or transcytosis.

The Study of the Operating Performance of Marine Industry in the Blue Economic Zone: An Empirical Analysis Based on DEA and Tobit Model

The marine industry plays an important role in promoting the development of the blue economic zone,and the study of the operating performance of marine industry is of important practical significance. Using DEA method,this article measures the operating performance of marine industry in the blue economic zone. On this basis,using Tobit model,it analyzes the factors influencing the operating performance of marine industry. The results show that the industries of high carbon emission performance are basically the industries of high energy consumption,high emission and high pollution; the level of economic development and the number of important technological achievements can both significantly increase the pure technical efficiency; the sustainable environmental carrying capacity and the number of employees are conducive to improving the technological progress index and overall efficiency; the level of social infrastructure plays a role in promoting the overall efficiency,but the role is not obvious.

An Analysis of the Roles of Laughter in BBC Life Story Interview

Laughter enables interview to go smoothly,and is considered as a symbol of successful communication in life story interview.Basing on Gail Jefferson's method of transcription,this paper transcribed ten cases of laughter from one BBC interview with John Maeda and aims to analyze the roles of laughter.Through close observation,this paper concludes three findings.First,in life story interview,topics on family members will induce greater possibility of laughter;second,in most cases,the interviewer will laugh following the interviewee's laughter;third,laughter is not only taken as the acknowledgement token,but also taken as the evasion strategy.

Exploration of whole brain networks modulated by acupuncture at analgesia acupoint ST36 using scale-specific wavelet correlation analysis

Background Previous studies have demonstrated that acupuncture could modulate various brain systems in the resting brain networks. Graph theoretical analysis offers a novel way to investigate the functional organization of the large-scale cortical networks modulated by acupuncture at whole brain level. In this study, we used wavelets correlation analysis to estimate the pairwise correlations between 90 cortical and subcortical human brain regions in normal human volunteers scanned during the post-stimulus resting state. Methods Thirty-two college students, all right-handed and acupuncture na＇fve, participated in this study. Every participant received only one acupoint stimulation, resulting in 16 subjects in one group. Both structural functional magnetic resonance imaging （fMRI） data （3D sequence with a voxel size of 1 mm3 for anatomical localization） and functional fMRI data （TR=1500 ms, TE=30 ms, flip angle=90°） were collected for each subject. After thresholding the resulting scale-specific wavelet correlation matrices to generate undirected binary graphs, we compared graph metrics of brain organization following verum manual acupuncture （ACU） and sham acupuncture （SHAM） groups. Results The topological parameters of the large-scale brain networks in ACU group were different from those of the SHAM group at multiple scales. There existed distinct modularity functional brain networks during the post-stimulus resting state following ACU and SHAM at multiple scales. Conclusions The distinct modulation patterns of the resting brain attributed to the specific effects evoked by acupuncture. In addition, we also identified that there existed frequency-specific modulation in the post-stimulus resting brain following ACU and SHAM. The modulation may be related to the effects of verum acupuncture on modulating special disorder treatment. This preliminary finding may provide a new clue to understand the relatively function- oriented specificity of acupuncture effects.

An Improved Chromosome-Level Genome Assembly and Annotation of Belted Beard Grunt(Hapalogenys analis)

Hapalogenys analis(order Lobotiformes)is an economically and ecologically significant fish species.It is a typical sedentary rocky reef fish and is primarily found in the northern Pacific Ocean.Here,we used Hi-C and PacBio sequencing technique to assemble a high-quality,chromosome-level genome for this species.The 539 Mb genome had a contig N50 with a size of 3.43 Mb,while 755 contigs clustered into 24 chromosomal groups with an anchoring rate of 99.02%.Of the total genomic sequence,132.74Mb(24.39%)were annotated as repeat elements.A total of 21360 protein-coding genes were identified,of which 20787 genes(97.32%)were successfully annotated to public databases.The BUSCO evaluation indicated that 96.90%of the total orthologous genes were matched.The phylogenetic tree representing H.analis and 14 other bony fish species indicated that the H.analis genome contained 364 expanded gene families related to olfactory receptor activity,compared with the common ancestor of H.analis and Sciaenidae.Comparative genomic analysis further identified 3584 contracted gene families.Branch-site modeling identified 277 genes experiencing positive selection,which may facilitate the adaptation to rocky reef environments.The genome reported here is helpful for ecological and evolutionary studies of H.analis.

600名健康成人iQ200全自动尿沉渣分析仪的参考值测定

目的确定苏州地区健康成人iQ200全自动尿沉渣分析仪的参考值。方法用iQ200全自动尿沉渣分析仪测定600名健康成人尿液沉渣,并与Fast-Read定量分析板测定结果作比较。结果(1)600名健康成人尿沉渣参考值为:红细胞0～8个/μl(男),0～12个/μl(女);白细胞0～10个/μl(男),0～18个/μl(女);透明管型0～2个/μl(男),0～3个/μl(女)。(2)iQ200全自动尿沉渣测定结果与定量分析板测定结果比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论此参考值可供应用iQ200分析仪作参考,但各实验室仍应根据自身条件建立适合本实验室的各项参考值范围。

《爆破质量综合评价仪》的研制和开发

提出了通过８０９８单片机采集电铲推压电压的信号变化情况，进行快速傅里叶变换，再对结果进行分析处理，得出反映爆破质量的优劣的指标。利用该原理研制成功一种能在矿山现场直接反映爆破质量优劣的仪器──《爆破质量综合评价仪》。根据该仪器的反映的结果，来调整下一次爆破参数，实现爆破优化，降低采矿成本。该仪器在马鞍山姑山铁矿使用后，效益显著。于一九九四年一月通过安徽省冶金厅的鉴定。并获得一九九四年安徽省科技进步成果奖。
