And these characteristics are correlated with each other. So the principal components analysis(PCA) is used in the analysis of the sample data firstly. And then the process is controlled with hotelling T^2 control chart for the first several principal components which contain sufficient information. Furthermore, a software tool is developed for this kind of problems. And with sample data from a surface mounting device(SMD) process, it is demonstrated that the T^2 control chart with PCA gets the same conclusion as without PCA, but the problem is transformed from high-dimensional one to a lower dimensional one, i.e., from 5 to 2 in this demonstration. 展开更多

Objective To identify the coumarins constituents in Cnidium monnieri and classify ten samples into three groups and this helpful chemical information could be used for the further pharmacological and clinical study on C. monnieri. Methods Qualitative analysis of coumarins in C. monnieri was detected by UHPLC-ESI-Q-TOF/MS. Quadrupole TOF/MS in either full scan mode or extracted ion mode was used for the qualitative analysis of the constituents. Relative peak area of each component was used for the hierarchical cluster analysis. Results According to UHPLC-ESI-QTOF-MS data, chemical structures of 28 coumarins in the fruits of C. monnieri were identified, including 19 simple coumarins, seven linear coumarins, and two angular coumarins. Among these constituents, ten coumarins were firstly identified in C. monnieri. In addition, hierarchical cluster analysis suggested that C. monnieri from different regions could be classified into four groups, and this clustering was correlated to the distribution significantly, Xuzhou could be regarded as the genuine producing area. Conclusion UHPLC-ESI-Q-TOF-MS is a viable method for qualitative analysis and quality evaluation of coumarins from the fruit of C. monnieri. Coumarins in C. monnieri exists intra-species variance, which indicates significant meaning for the quality control and choice of famous region drug for C. monnieri in the clinic medication. 展开更多

Objective To develop a simple, sensitive, and precise method for simultaneous determination of 10 anthraquinones in Rhubarb. Methods HPLC-Q-HR/MS was employed for simultaneous quantification of free anthraquinones(aloe-emodin, emodin, chrysophanol, physcion, and rhein) and their glycosides. Chromatographic analysis was performed on an XBridge^(TM) C_(18) column(2.1 mm × 150 mm, 5 μm) with mobile phases consisting of 3 mmol/L ammonium acetate(A) and methanol(B) at a flow rate of 0.3 mL/min. Results All calibration curves exhibited good linear relationship(R^2 〉 0.999). The limits of detection(LOD) and quantification(LOQ) were in the range of0.39-2.97 ng/mL and 0.56-8.90 ng/mL, respectively. The overall intra-and inter-day precisions of analytes presented as relative standard deviations(RSDs) were less than 2.79%. Relative recoveries varied between 97.83% and 104.28%. The validated method was applied to assess the quality of Rhubarb collected from different regions of China. Results showed that chrysophanol and rhein-8-O-β-D-glucoside was the largest portion of free anthraquinones and anthraquinone glycosides in Rhubarb, respectively. The total content of anthraquinones was higher in Rhubarbs from Sichuan, Qinghai, Yunnan, and Gansu provinces than that in those from Shandong and Henan provinces, while no significant variability existed in different regions of the same province.Conclusion HPLC-Q-HR/MS method is accurate and reliable for simultaneous quantification of above free anthraquinones and their glycosides in Rhubarb and can be applied to standardize the quality of Rhubarb and its quality control in different regions. 展开更多
